Im first time landing in Ras Al Khaimah Airport. To much good staff. Everything is normal and Very Good Behaviour. Thank you so much Ras Al Khaimah Airport management.
So supportive staffs ..and easy to reached out with out any long walk .decided to use this airport for future travel

Ras al Khaimah Airport is one of the uncrowded airport in UAE. It is situated at around 15-20 kilometer from the city centre of Ras al Khaimah. The distance can be covered in around 20 min. The check in, Immigration and security check process are very quick as there is very less crowd here. The airport is small but convenient and clean. It has good connectivity with many Cities in India and Pakistan. The parking is free foe upto 12 hours. Nice experience

It is a promising airport. With recent announcements of Spicejet going to start operations from here it surely going to shine.At present the airport is what i can call minimalistic setup. Couple of flights to Pakistan and Egypt mostly.If we talk about amenities the duty free at departure is ok but the one at arrivals is almost non existent.Since there arenβt much flights thus there isnβt much traffic. If you are traveling from RAK airport you can park your car outside for free as well.With time i am sure the place shall shine
A very small airport.Its not the smallest airport you can find but definitely its a very small on.Actually there is nothing to complain about in the airport there are shops, restaurants and smoking areas, also its faster and easier to travel from and to the airport than it is in the rest of UAE airports.It takes no time to finish your registration and take your boarding pass.The negatives are the lake of flights and travel options.But the flights are much more cheaper most of the time.
RAK Airport is small comparatively but the service is fast , overall great experience
Plus points :Easily accessible if map is followed.Free parking.One can stand right at the exit door of arrival.Room for improvements :Space outside the airport is not well lit.Exit sign from the parking is missing.

Had a most amazing airport experience at RAK airport the landing and take of is stunning with landscape of mountain, ocean and desert on the other side, it is undoubtedly the most scenic airport in UAE, it gives you a feel of late 70s with facilities of now-a-days, i drove all the way from dubai to ras al khaimah airport just to enjoy the takeoff from rak airport, the ride from dubai to ras al khaimah was scenic as well, what i have noticed is the staff at rak airport is very humble and helpful unlike Dubai airport, the rak airport has good facilities for dining, recreation like lounge offering free wifi, drinks, buffet, and a stunning view of runway with backdrop of mountains. i recommend travelers to pass through the Ras Al Khaimah Airport to really make there trip memorable.
Waiting area is closed due to covid-19. 1 hour waiting due to covid-19 testing. Please make sure to check flight schedule before when you are coming to receive someone.
The worst airport experience i had seen in my life staff is kicking out the peoples from the airport from waiting area without giving any explanation, not caring about the childrenβs and cold weather outside also staff is not following proper Covid guidelines as well. It is better not to travel if you had only option to travel from here.

Not so great custom official took out my religious kirpan(knife) even its not even sharp . I am a Sikh guy and according to Dubai officals I can carry a small kirpan in my luggage but custom officers refuse to listen to me . Not happy at allI hope they can fix this

I had to travel through RAK airport. Very bad experience. Cafeteria not opened. Nothing to eat if you had skipped a meal.There is no handbaggage weighting if you are in limit while checkin, just the checkin baggage weight is checked and you can buy any amount of items from dutyfree ..no hand baggage weighting after checkin.

Took 3 hrs after landing to come out of the airport due to Covid test - not well organized. They make you sit in a hall and start calling each passenger one by one. After the test you are out of the airport within 5 mins. And finally, on day 3 I still didnβt get the test report yet

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is small but equipped with all modern equipment and facilities which you can find in any moderate airport. There is smart gates, which ease in immigration process instead of long waiting queues. Huge outside free parking where you can park and drop vehicles for short trips. Not really crowded and can deal with commercial and cargo flights. Easily accessible without any heavy traffic.
The covid result is very slow here. I Have been waiting more than 2 days to get the result.
No lounge & No proper food outlets. Otherwise its ok

Worst experience of my life, rude ladies staff.
Not recommended due to long wait for more than 3 hours after arriving.No proper system in place due to PCR test. Once you reach emigration counter exit in maximum 5 minutes.

Dont compare with DXB and abudhabi airports.its a small airport in a remote area.but well equipped as a international airport.
It was my first time to visit RAK airport. It was night and I wouldnt believe that the road will take us to the right place. But the location is pinpoint right.Although its a small airport but efficient in service. One can really save a lot of time in checking in.

Not satisfied with airport service
Very bad security protocol for the visitors, took the passport and visa on arrival and took almost 45 minutes or even more, then announced names one by one to return back the documents like prisoners... After immigration stamping and face recognition again took passports for almost one hour or so and then examined the checked luggage from inside and all the visitors scanned very badly... I dont know why they did such a bad behavior
