It’s so peaceful and relaxing specially in evening, when so are tired of daily chaos, come here to relax and live these peaceful moments with delightful views.Also there is local government (RTA controlled) boat service that can give you a ride to Bur Dubai Boat Station for just one dirham. It is one of the best things to go for in Dubai given its cheap ride which is just Dhs 1 per peson or Dhs 15 for private boating experiance. It offers amazing views of the old Dubi souks. The large amount of pigeons on shore provides a cherry on top.

This is one of the amazong place where i visit in dubai. You can have very cheap boat ride just for 1 dhs one side from one station to another one. You can have good market place on both the side of the stations. Very good price stuffs you can get here. This is the place where you can buy good cloths, indian junk foods. Do visit with your family onces.

The old style wooden abras offer a great experience- one can cross Dubai Creek wheres the citys history began, for Only 1 dirham.The crossing offers great views of this older part of the city including masjids and much lower rise building than the more modern part of the city.

This is a traditional place and face of Dubai.They tried to keep it as in same feelings.So dont expect a luxurious feel there.The beauty of the place is in the present atmosphere and look. and i loved the ambience as i feel very nostalgic and traditional.Abras may be the world cheapest water transportation which charges just 1AED.There are other dhow cruises around which you can enjoy some fun and food along with a water trip of 30minutes in common.Hope the government may keep and protect the traditional look and ambience forever as the soul of the abra is like so.A good tourist destination as well..

As a local guide I can only describe this place as a really touristic crowded small corner in Dubai where about 10 different things are happening at the same time. Its a taxiboat station to get you to the other side of the creek, its also a place where you can find a refreshing kiosk and the sidewalk that gets you to the souk. Add to this the tourist and locals trying to use the same public transportation for 1 dhs!I think the place is fantastic, is a great experience to visit it. Youll feel secure there , a little bit stalked but only for sellers trying to get you a good original watch offer...Have fun!

Lovely place and a good tourist place.. regulators should pay attention to carbon emission from these desal engine boats ... a beautiful bridge or submarine tunnel can be made to cross this canal and alot of CO2 emission will be avoided

The boats across leave every few minutes from the gold, herb and textile souqs and only cost 1aed per person. Great way to get across to the Mosque, see the al Fihidi district or visit other similar souqs on that side of river. Crossing only takes 15mins. The fumes, unpacking of shipments and construction make the area a little chaotic and not super pretty but good to see none the less.

You will surely enjoy the view of the city from here. You can also see fishing boats, yacht and hotel on boats. Get down at Old Souk and indulge in some shopping. A must try when in Dubai.It was an amazing experience. The boat runs every few minutes throughout the entire day. Each boat holds about 20 passengers. the journey only takes about 5 minutes. even you can hire your own abra for an hour to explore much further up the river. Abra!!! We sometime just go by abra from Bur Dubai to Gold souk which just cost AED 1/- ( USD 0.27) which is the cheapest mean of transportation in Dubai. Its one of my favourite as we simply sail to enjoy our ride. Return trip is available from the same place. Whereas if you are going to Gold Souk by metro or taxi will cost you AED 5/- and AED 20/- respt. And this is the fastest aswell and they have boats every less than 5 min.

The boats are fast to ferry people from point A to be. They dont wait much to fill up the people. Normally, people are always on the move, so its quicker to be ferried. It is my quickest route when I need to cross Dubai Creek to go either side for business, yet cheap, only AED1 to board the boat. For exchange rate check the internet but US$1=AED3.67,so do the math for the AED.Enjoy the boats guys!!!
