Awesome place by the lake to make your whole weekend camping journey to be an amazing one. Started by 11pm and wrapped up by 7am seeing the beautiful sunrise and ducks by the lake.Totally recommend.

I love coming and spending a good portion of the night in the desert. It’s quite peaceful and beautiful. My friends and I came for my birthday.We built a nice fire and brought a grill as well to cook up some burgers and hot dogs. If you need wood you can always find guys selling wood on the side of the road as you get closer to the actual desert location where you can camp out. It’s important to bring a base for your fire so that the fire isn’t directly on the sand. I was told that it hurts the nature of the sand and some little animals which may live in the desert.You can park on the side of the road once around the camping areas. I prefer quieter spots so we always drive in a bit deeper into the desert.Another tip is bringing a little wheeled wagon to drag your stuff into the desert as the sand is soft and it can be tiring to walk into the desert carrying too much stuff :)

There is a nice place to enjoy camping 🏕

Drive through this area for complete desert view and also some camel views. Drive safe while you drive though the narrow roads and be alert when you stop and watch the animals which you may get to see most times.

Amazing placeCaution visitors open camp fire is prohibited here but not BBQ (lacks sense, since both leaves the burnt charcoal behind). Municipality inspectors visit after dark and fine you AED 500 for violations. And no excuse is granted for first timers either.This can easily spoil the good time you get to spend out there. Out in the cold with no fire.

Full of rubbish after every weekend, all winter long. Filled with moronic drivers who have no idea how to park, blocking the roadway, and small children driving quadbikes and cars onto the roadway illegally. Quite possibly one of the worst places to come to if you are looking for a nice place in the desert. Oh, did I mention all the rubbish left strewn about each week?

AL Qudra desert, or The Almarmoom Desert Reserve, is an amazing place to experience the desert by foot. But leave only footprints, bring garbage with you back home. ⚘😊
