Have been living in Dubai for 6 years and I know that it can be a challenge dealing with courier companies. This morning I read reviews and I was unsure if I want to go to DHL in Dubai Mall.However, this morning I was so pleasantly surprised! It was one of the best service I have ever received in Dubai that I even had to ask for the name of the employee. John keep it up!

The worst shipping company to deal with! They have hidden expenses even after you pay for the shipping which is already overpriced compared to other companies, customer services are rude.. all in all very bad service!

Really disappointed about your express shipping. I have a super urgent document that need to be shipped from Singapore to UAE. The document has been picked up today 16/07 at 12pm local time and the promise delivery date is 25/07 end of day! How come you label this service Express shipping? This is just shipping or slow shipping. And Ive been told that this is the fastest service you have from Singapore to UAE.

It amazes me how far the employees of this DHL kiosk will go to obstruct a simple transaction. Every time I have tried to ship something from here at ENORMOUS cost, the employees will find a way to make sure you cant. Todays unhelpful employee was Mecio, who could not have done less. Highly recommend FedEx at this point. This DHL is a convenient location except you have to return several times to ship a single package. Ridiculous.

Do not use DHL if you are sending a gift! I did once, unfortunately the staff at the counter were very rude and unwrapped the gift, spoiling all the effort, time and money invested in the wrapping. I accepted this act in the name of Security! The second time, i was ready for the rude DHL staff, i placed the gift quite openly into an open gift bag so that the item could easily be viewed. However this time, the rude staff insisted on not only removing the box from the bag, but opening the box, removing all the contents and were then unable to replace the carefully packaged product back how it was originally displayed. Instead they simply stuffed it all back in the box. I could only imagine the reaction of the receiver of the gift who opens the box to see what was nicely displayed contents, screwed up in a mess. The final straw came when the rude staff then insisted on opening the sealed Birthday Card i had also placed within the open gift bag. I asked if it was really necessary for them to open and read a private letter, as in the UK this was highly illegal and a breach of privacy, unless you are a prisoner of course. They insisted they must open and check the content of the letter, so i took back the Birthday Card, the screwed up gift box and proceeded to another globally recognised carrier service, who will get the glowing report they deserve for such great customer service at a much lower cost than DHL

The service is good, but they are a bit expensive

Worst courier service on this planet! Someone sent a document for me on March 3rd and it supposed to be in Canada before March 18th!! The shipment is on hold in Dubai for more than 20 days right now and no one from DHL is answering my emails, calls and complaint form I’ve submitted. The documents are already useless to me but please DO NOT send you packages with this company. Biggest scam on this planet

Very impressive staff of this DHL office in Dubai Mall.The staff I am rating with 5 stars.

They charge sender and receiver both to make more money, received shipment from UK they charged me AED 10 handling fees on top of AED 15 for VAT

They made me wait at Dubai Mall for 6 hours , just to tell me they dont have any clue if Ill receive my package , plus they are not at all helpful , avoid dhl at any cost , the cost more plus service level is 0 , if there was an option I would had given minus 5 , I am sharing my incident will my 3000 fb friends an on instagram , stop using dhl.

Great service, very professional and customer-oriented ALL THE TIME. It is amazing to receive such consistency from this industry. Even customer care centre is pleasant to talk to over the phone.

Called to confirm a pick of of item today. DHL promised they will collect the item from my address at 6pm and didn’t turn up or call. I wasted one hour waiting for them. They obviously don’t have a decent Managment structure where anyone is accountable. I’d love to know who the ceo of DHL is in UAE and understand what he does. The company is going downhill

Avoid DHL at all costs. This is the only company which takes the liberty of adding their own VAT charges even for items of negligible value. No other company does that. FedEx is the best and cannot be even compared

The only courier company charges you to get your shipment!!! They always claim customs duties fees and administrative fees for getting it on your behalf even if you didnt ask them to do so!!!! You dont have a choice but to pay or not receive your shipment! They dont ask you in advance if you are willing to pay!

Guys,beware of paying large amount of import taxes when you ship (especially large items) from one country to another.I had a bad experience on this one. My mom shipped some items to me from Dubai to Germany.She was not inform by DHL Dubai that some import taxes are need to be paid upon the delivery of the items and I did not know also.I was asked first to give some descriptions and prices of the items that I am expecting (I really thought that was the last requirement and DHL Germany did not inform me also on that day that I will be paying taxes).The next day I received a message saying that I need to pay 110 Euros for the import taxes before the items will be finally delivered to me.That leaves me with limited choices but to pay.My mom and I will not do this again.I am used to of not paying these taxes in the Philipines.I know its a cost of ignorance but DHL could have made some effort to make their customers aware of such important information. I hope this review could save anyone from this kind of bad experience.

Despite being regular customer but writing about very serious problem i had with them .. first my sister shipped my remaining old stuff i had in Dubai ( as i moved out of the country this summer) they took the stuff knowing its personal used stuff.. didnt write anything back then .. after 3 days it reached Ukraine... and 2 weeks now trying to clear it out... discovering that they need customs to paid her( they didnt mention at all for her this thing) and they wrote alot of unknow items on the package .. now its stuck for the second week trying to convince them its only used clothes and shoes . just please people be careful with them .. they turned out like all other companies they only need money....... soooo sad

Im still waiting for a package to send it Im waiting 3 weeks and still send it unacceptable dhl express because I wont like you again because you shouldnt say dhl express since you dont become the delivery in the time that is written unacceptable
