This was the highlight of my Dubai trip. Splendid is the word. The views from of this amazing city from the sky were breathtaking. You can see the pictures and you will know how magnificent were the views. However, no camera can do justice to what your eyes will see.We did the morning seaplane tour. We were told to report at 9 am for a 10 am flight. One of the ground staff members, Sunny, was ready to receive us when we arrived. She then took us for a briefing where she explained the route and the safety guidelines. We were 9 of us. The seaplane can seat 9 passengers plus the pilot, we were informed. Once our baggage were scanned, we were asked to hop on to a car which took us closer to the seaplane. And then a quick walk on the floating walkway, we reached the seaplane. A Seawings personnel also clicked pictures of us with the seaplane. These were presented to us at the end of the ride in a wonderfully crafted hardbound book. One could purchase it at an extra cost.The seaplane tour last for 45 mins where were flying above each of Dubais tourist attractions (see pictures).Once back from the seaplane ride, we were taken back to the terminal in the car. At the terminal, one could choose have breakfast. There was a neat cafeteria serving food and beverages.

Amazing experience! We were picked up at the hotel and drove to the Port Rashid and after the flight directly to our chosen location. Great views on the city, very professional service, snacks and hot/cold drinks are offered at the cafe in the waiting area (cash only, you may pay in USD, EUR, AED). Just before the flight we had a security briefing, got our boarding passes and passed formal security check. We were 9 people on board. If you book co-pilot seat for one person, you are boarded first and his/her partner may choose where to seat (usually behind co-pilot seat). A nice information book with your photo is offered as a souvenir in the end of the trip (110 AED, you may pay by card). Highly recommended! Do not miss it out - it’s a unique life experience.
