This school has a serious bullying situation that no one in the admin or staff wants to admit.I suggest you educate your teachers on dealing with these matters or ur ending up with many traumatised kids. There shud be a zero bully policy .

Hello, I am a student at this UAS school but Im calling myself Milkshake so my identity doesnt get exposed. I am American. This is my first year going to this school, and it is also my last. I really didnt like this school so I decided to write a review. My story is that the year prior to this, I lived in a country, again, dont want to specify. I lived in that country for four years and I loved it. I finally started hanging out with my friends at that school and I was having an amazing time. Then, for some reason, my parents decided that they wanted to leave that country and come to Dubai. I wasnt ok with that because I loved my previous school, and when Covid hit, that is when my parents finally decided to go to Dubai. I hated them, mostly my dad because he is the one who got a job here in Dubai. My dad promised me that I would get some voice next time we were to move. I started going to this school nothing felt right. I missed my friends very deeply and now, I guess I have friends? But Im nowhere as close to them compared to my previous friends. I loved them. School is being specified using two words, BORING, and SAD. I cry about 40% of the nights because of how much I miss my old friends, and my school. At my old school, there were only two classes I didnt like, heath, and english. Now, its the other way around, I only LIKE two classes and dont like the others. Also there is a secret about this school, to the parents that are now at this school and to parents looking at these reviews about this school, you no how this school says its a non-profit school, it isnt. There is no paperwork anywhere that says its a non-profit, and Al-Futtaim is getting the rest of the money. So, to some this all up, I dont recommend this school, and you shouldnt move to Dubai. Dubai is a touristy place to go to, not to live. Also, that second star that Im rating this school, thats a pity star.

Speaking from a students perspective, I believe this is one of the best schools Dubai has. Ive been here for 6 years and I love the faculty and students. Everyone is accepted no matter their race and I love how each teacher takes time into his/her students. The school also has awesome facilities and CLEAN BATHROOMS. Its a really good school and I really think everyone should check it out. The eduction is also very good. It is the American system and though they take the subjects slowly, they produce great results. I thoroughly enjoyed going to UAS and made lifelong and beautiful memories. Lots of Love to UAS.

I moved to the US now, this school was a living hell with both irrespective and irresponsible teachers and students.Update: I just wanted to say, this school was the worst I have ever been to, as the students would bully and harass me. Not a friendly environment, they benefit on money and more students, Covid 19 is booming in the UAE and this school is throwing the policies in the trash, I recommend schools Like Nova Scotia School, Philadelphia private school, and all Gems, but gems is hard but less harder than UAS. THX, bye.

I have been a parent in this school for 12 years, with all of my three kids enrolled. There is not even a question of changing schools for us, as we really feel at home at UAS. With Al Futtaim take over, the school only got better, as it became non-for-profit and invests heavily into the campus. The best thing about the school - it’s community and sense of belonging.

A school where students and parents come first . An environment of inclusion, acceptance and diversity . Parents and school management address and redress pressing issues facing the students body at academics and social levels . With two kids at the school for many years now , I have seen an inherent and progressive development of inquisitive, respectful, reflective and affirmative young students.Keep going UAS

I have had a really bad experience here as a student in UAS. For starters the administration and school decisions have been very detrimental to the students morale and happiness within this school. Moving from the last school year to the 2019-2020 school year UAS completely changed the schedule, this schedule change was not so bad except for a few things. For starters our lunch had been cut down to 25 minutes coming from 55 minutes last year, now students dont have time to do things they could last year such as, asking teachers for help, finishing homework or out of class projects, and of course eating, etc. Now school has extended our lunch by 5 minutes supposedly trying to imply that our life is so much different and an extra 5 mins has helped so much. Another rule that has been implemented is a rule where a student goes to Spinneys, which is a place that is 2 minutes walk from our school, If the student wishes to come back, the school denies entry. It is understandable because recently we had a death of a security guard, and the school just wishes that we stay safe on the road, but at the same time, when students have to stay after school for sports or extracurriculars, this rule prevents them from grabbing a snack and staying full. Overall there have been both good and bad decisions made by the administration of UAS but somethings have affected the students and parents happiness with this school.

This school does not even deserve even 1 star due to corrupted management. If a student complains about teacher beating him the teachers and the directors would not even take the students words in consideration but would rather blame the student mistake and looking upon unreasonable excuses to blame the student rather than rectifying the problem on why would a student have something personal from a teacher and why would a student and report against that specific teacher name Britany. WHY!? The teachers take things personally and are not abiding the UAE law which they are not allowed to touch the students. This school management is worse and they change their colors as soon as the KHDA show up.

One of the best schools in Dubai. If you looking for an American/IB curriculum this is the school for your kids. There is a great sense of community that this school provides. The teachers are extra caring and faculty listen to the parents. I highly recommend.

This school has disappointed me. 4 of my kids attend this school and in the amount of time theyve been enrolled in this school, Ive realized the schools organization and management has plummeted. In the beginning, the school was great and I had no complaints. However, as of now, the head staff have been extremely strict and look for absolutely anything to complain about and to discipline their students. In addition to that, the head staff will not allow students to wear the comfier PE shirts during ramadan or let them even see the sun. One of my biggest problems with this school is the Arabic learning system. The teachers are told to give students random Arabic stories which claim to improve their learning skills and comprehension. In reality, these stories do not benefit the students at all academically instead, they bore the students and give them 0 motivation to learn. To add on, I was informed by the school that the students would be taking a 2 hour long benchmark Arabic test. The teachers do not even teach the students proper Arabic, but they expect the students to know how to read several paragraphs, answer multiple questions, write pages worth of useless notes, and speak fluent Arabic! This is not acceptable! One of my other children (who no longer attend this school) have gotten food poisoning from the nasty cafeteria chicken (it looks like rubber). My daughter was then later hospitalized due to severe nausea and pain. What angers me the most is that the school did not take ANY of the responsibility for this incident. This school is also very overpriced and for absolutely no reason. For example, the school runs bake sales and fund raisers for a good cause but once the students make profit from these fund raisers and bake sales the school takes all the money and uses it for future events. The school bus services are even worse! The bus drivers have no empathy for the students who ride the bus, they overspeed, do not slow down for speed bumps which injured my youngest daughter and cracked her neck. Additionally, the buses are disgusting and to have your child ride the bus is ridiculously expensive! (It adds 10,000 DHS more to the school fees, unbelievable!) In conclusion, I recommend you do not bring your child/children here. Thank you for your time.

My child Sarah has been in this school for 4 years. I have been in the PTSO for the same amount of time. First of all, the quality of teaching is very bad. My child used to be at DAA, and they had much better education. Her father pays so much every year for this school! We do not receive great education for our daughter. Al Futtaim is making the mediocre school even worse. We do not support this type of business. I am appalled at the teachings of this school. My daughters IQ has depleted to absolute in the past 4 years. And, the food is DISGUSTING and UNHEALTHY! All children need good nutrients! This school does not provide this! The caterers are also bad! THE STUDENTS ARE WORSE! They are uneducated from this school! They bullied my daughter, and no reprecussions were made. She told her teacher and she did nothing! I am repulsed by this behavior. Walk it off she said. I am disgusted. I will tell all my friends and everyone to stay as far away from this school as possible. If I could I would put zero stars.

Disclaimer, I am just letting this out so the school knows its Crisis no Disrespect or anything this school works hard but I need to tell them their flaws. Lets start things off with the school, The management is absolutely horrible and almost every teacher came here just for them money. They do not know who to control, manage and plan stuff and its a very poor Job. In the 2019/2020 year, the 6th and 7th Grade Students dont have a Social teacher and have made the other teachers who arent trained to teach Social Studies teach it and it has affected the kids and the schedule is now being sloppy with mixed up socials and Arabic. Kids feel unsafe here with the security not giving their 110% and being scared of everybody and getting in trouble. This school has put in Grades first and more important than anything they threaten to take your breaks and lunch away and give you bad grades on synergetic. Even if you but the most effort they only care if its right and wont help you if youre trying hard. There are a few teachers who put effort for their students to learn and try to help them a lot like Mr. Quin, Mr. Holz, Ms. Walters. The Middle school Principle is relatively good at here Job, Its just that what she wears every day is a bit crazy and kind of on the Not School Appropriate Side. It is currently Ramadan and a disgrace from the school they dont even let kids pray and say Oh you have to be in Class and they have to get a prayer pass just to worship their god and we barely learn anything. Most of the teachers here are like not certified and barely know how to teach They all came here for the ridiculous amount of money families waste to go to a so-called Driven by Success and Discover Uniqueness School. The school Is 90% Arab 7% Asian and the Rest is like American or European. The Middle School Vice Principle has 8 eyes and all of them for getting people in trouble. All he thinks is Detention Detention and thinks it will teach the students. He wants to be treated with the utmost respect and acts like hes something big. He always tries to look for stuff that students do accidentally against the rules just to get them In trouble to make him feel better. The school is really poor in Arabic Despite being in the Middle East, most people dont know how to read or speak Arabic and are at the highest level. Its very bad quality of teachers that are teaching it. We have an Elementary Principal who is relatively good at her Job Ill give her Credits for that. This school used to be a good school and kids actually were in a safe environment and learned a lot and even some got a few steps to achieve their dreams. I do not know what has happened to the School it has fallen Down in its quality and is not at all one of the Best Schools in Dubai Anymore (it was before). Some people might not believe anything I say here and some might deny it, its your choice and I dont expect you to because this is a lot and all the parents and students cant handle this anymore. Its over priced and they set you up for failure. They enjoy getting you in-trouble and love watching u fail. Dont out your child in this school. And if you dont believe me Just look at the other reviews. Once again this is not a low-blow at the school. Just trying to tell them its flaws and that they should fix them, I do not mean any Disrespect.

I mean when are you going to speak arabic and use art it is not like you will be the next picasso. Never go to this school I wish I could give this school a 0-star. Last warning.
