One of the worst schools I have ever step foot on. The teachers are horrible and dont even teach, and they have stupid and useless rules such as the no bags rule. The dress code for this school is horrible who would make children wear a tie and blazer in the summer where it averages at 42 degrees. The campus is filthy and the bathrooms smell like puke, its hard to even last a second in there. You can receive a better education anywhere else, and they completely change when the inspectors from KHDA come. If you want a good education for your child do NOT send them here.

Worst. School. Ever. The teachers didnt even know how to teach (especially the Arabic teachers) I was bullied by other students and no one did anything. No teacher helped me for my transition from an American curriculum to a British one. Do Not Send Your Child to this School. The worst thing they do is that they COMPLETELY change the way they do things when the government comes and inspects then. Absolutely disgraceful.

Repton school completely sucks. Miss Bourke (art teacher) is always busy gossiping about all the students to other teachers and you can even hear it when you’re walking by instead of actually doing her job and teaching art. I was in her art class last year and she completely disregarded the class and just let us do whatever we want instead of teaching us art. The school also enforces stupid rules upon the students for no reason. They made a no bag rule which is completely useless and they’re just torturing us by making us carry so many books in our hands. What is the point of bringing bags to school if we can’t even use them? Also, in senior school so many students smoke and bring alcohol to school and the teachers don’t even realize. Suspensions and detentions are always given out by teachers randomly and unfairly without genuinely listening to the students side of the story. My boarder friends are always complaining about how horrible their food is all the time. The boarding food is so repetitive, low quality and disgusting that it’s impossible to be genuinely happy and full in the boarding house. They should make the owner of the school try to survive one day in boarding and we will see how that goes. The female bathrooms also always smell like rotten fish and just disgusting overall and it’s truly difficult to stay in there for longer than 3 seconds without wanting to barf. Most of the toilets don’t even function and when you try to flush them they don’t even work. Students are forced to take part in unnecessary inter house sport events regardless of whether or not they want to or not. My old school had a lot better education and actually had intelligent teachers. If you want your child to have a good school life, don’t come to Repton.

Firstly, the Repton School promises to give your children high quality British education and development of individuality and personality, HOWEVER igcse and ib options are very, very limited. The school only offers basic subjects for last 4 years of school, which helps your children fail to get prepared for university.Repton claims to help develop personality and support every child BUT the teachers are very RACIST and NATIONALIST to students. The school restricts students from speaking their own languages and communicating with people from their native country. Repton promises to develop talents however the only aspects the schools helps with are sports and arts.UAE has strict laws on stealing, BUT that doesn’t stop the Repton TEACHERS from STEALING students’ belongings such as personal clothes, cash, electronics (phones, airpods etc) and jewelry. Repton covers up the crimes of teachers, and doesn’t help students to get their stolen belonging back.Most teachers do not pay attention to students needs such as toilet breaks, carrying bags or drinking water during class. Repton restricts carrying bags around school forcing children to carry tones of books around school, go to their locker every break and teachers give out sanctions for being late!!The food is disgusting and children get stomachaches and digestion problems, however the schools doesn’t will to change anything.

Strong academics, great values and wonderful pastoral care.

Not the school that was sold to parents when it opened or anywhere close. For a school that supposedly has a very distinctive British flavour apart from a mostly British staff there is very little British about it, least of all in ethos. The Primary School had promise on opening with a combination of sound teachers and the usual quota of young and less dedicated staff that the UAE seems to attract. No idea what happened to the Prep School that was promised - never materialised. The Primary School has been open for eight years and still doesnt possess a hall. Regarding the Senior School, for some reason since it opened they have not been able to get the management right. A consistently high turnover of staff even by International School standards which is never a good sign. That said, there are some excellent teachers but also many who lack professionalism and/or maturity. Communication with parents from the management is inconsistent at best. Many parents feel unheard, treated with disregard by the management and even worse by the Admin. Dept who, as the majority of parents are aware, operate as an entirely separate, openly mercenary entity.

It is a beautiful campus with very few good teachers but most lack the proper skill to teach students at a higher level. The school prides itself on values that include mutual respect between teachers and students, I have witnessed on many occasions that multiple teachers in high positions treating some students that have had incidents with a bias. The school also lacks help on serious mental issues and addictions, they have dealt with problems like this through suspension and expulsion of students. Another issue with the school is that many of the facilities that were promised to parents back when the school opened are still not here such as the theatre. This school is a for profit business which does mean that they will try to cut costs to increase their profits unlike other schools in Dubai which are non-profit and use their fees to improve student experience. The only great part of Repton is that there is a boarding house which offers a decent accommodation to the students. If they find out about who has helped to write this review they will all be in serious trouble as this is “unacceptable behavior” as the truth is an issue for this school which prides itself on its name rather than reputation.

Amazing education with open minded international teachers, the school holds courses such as IB, IBCP and IGCSE it hold year groups from KG1 to IB2 and ages 3-19

I kept along the school for its igcse and in results, they always gave me dodgy reply. And no auditorium for school plays or concert etc. Only interested in making money by charging high fees.

From the abnormally rude staff (teachers scream, threaten and extort students, giving unjust suspensions, detentions and whatnot) to unqualified teachers (an IGCSE biology teacher who didnt understand anything from the book, an old chemistry teacher who taught us physics for a whole semester and ruined the entire IGCSE course) this school reeks of failure. Having taken in millions and million of dollars in revenue with no profit, this school has yet to show signs of infrastructure improvement including theatrical and equestrian facilities promised to students who joined long ago. The parent-teacher meeting and IB seminars held in inconveniently short intervals are not helpful and are simply prolonged and boring advertisement campaigns for the schools pathetic IB course, once graduating only half the students of a cohort with an average of 30 points. Raising tuition fees every year, and expelling students who cant afford to pay, this school is a money-sucking machine that will waste your time and hard earned resources giving you minimal, low-quality education, extreme amounts of stress and inconvenience.
