So sad to say that the administration are not helpful and not understanding, i went today to register my kg1 abd kg2 daughters in the school bus surprised that the bus will be pick them at 6:10 although my house is few minutes away! and class starts 7:55 and they refused bluntly to help out saying this is the inly service we provide so rude , we are paying and getting treated this way , where is the school owners or principal??Reading the reviews many are complaining about the administration and sadly it seems no one cares

Actually i wish to give this school no stars ,by all means this is not a school I don’t advise anyone ever to register his kid in such school , my son studied there for two years i can say that it was miserable by all means, for the first year teachers were good other than this was so bad which you can’t depend only on the teachers while the management and system are so bad , second year even all the good teachers left the school , so my experience and many ones i saw was very bad

My kids are studying in IAS for 3 years and they are enjoying and learning so much, a very safe and friendly environment for my kids and the administration staff and teachers are very helpful and honest and caring.I definitely will re-register them for the next year.

The school staff and management are unhelpful and useless. I call them so many times and get no response. Athena is not a good management. Teachers help but still there were a-lot of problems in online classes. The school connection would often get hang. And they did not deliver the books until two months later, and then they make up excuses on why they did not deliver the books on time. School breaks would only be 15 minutes each and there were only two breaks!!! They would never use the books and give us worksheets instead, even though we paid 2,000 Dirham(AED) for the books. In the end IAS is a bad school and Athena is not a good management.

I do agree and understand that IAS went through hard times but, IAS stand up again and got much better than before. my daughters still studying at IAS despite of all what are some parents saying I saw a very good improvement in my daughter self confidence, the way she talks and acts, I thank her homeroom teacher for everything. I believe as a parent we need to stand with the school, administration and teachers and support them instead of complaining and trying to search for trouble.I wish all the best for IAS and all the staff and keep it up.

Hello. I am farsus. I would like to give this school 5 star because it has the best education system unlike any regular school in USA. i am not saying this as an alt account of the school, but as a student. i hope it grows better over the years.

One of the worst schools in the UAE. Please avoid it if you have any sense of love for your child. There is zero learning and educating going on everyone just fights. My child was here from grade . All students in senior school can barely read or write because they don’t care about them. All they care about is your money. THIS IS NOT A SCHOOL, THIS IS A GIMMICK.

No star, horrible school, worst management - my daughter was forgotten to be brought home before the pandemic and the bus driver took her, wanting to drop her home without a nanny. The school receptionist or the teacher was not even aware of it. I happen to have the bus driver number and informed him to take my daughter back to the reception or I would call the police. I had to rush to the school from work and luckily my brother managed to reach before me. Another incident where they took extra payment from me and till date did not refund the amount, despite several reminders being sent. I even complained to KHDA and still nothing. Instead they keep calling me for registration.Do not send your kids to this school because they are irresponsible and do not care about any student well being or safety.There are alot of reasons: like the online which was being done twice a week from 10am to 10.30am ONLY (G4). No proper homework or weekly schedule given to parents, if you call no one answers or they say they will call back but nothing. I am traumatized by this school because of their behaviour and it should be shut down. A Lot of parents have taken their kids out of this school.

I used to have my kids for few years there, it was OK, but year after year instead of improvement it kept going down, changing management continuously, principle every few months, but this year 2020, was a total mess, distance learning was far from good, and level of education and examination was too far from good. Hope thing will be corrected and OK in near future

This the worst School you can lose your money your child and even your health in, always will be in stress as you will chock your child get nothing, Always no teachers from Kg classes to elder, less teacher if theres teacher not checking to teaching well, worst worst

Good school

I taught in this school for a year. I enjoyed my stay in this school. My colleagues have been so helpful to me especially my HOD in science. The students are also nice and trying their best to do good in class. The school could have progressed more if the westerner principal (Ms. Ann) did not leave the school.

School treating students like prisoners and keeping them captive during term 3 finals till 2:45 pm for no reason after they finish their exams at like 10 they are there sitting doing nothing. They are even ignoring the parents wishes regarding this concerning issue.

As I am a parent I believe this is the worst school in Dubai and also with high school fees !!!the teachers and staff are not co-operative.And also from my communications with them I feel they dont know the nature of educational organizations work & behavior .. my son lost 4 years from his educational life.. not recommended

The new management is not care about parents opinion and dont have the required local culture knowledge. They do what ever they like and they keep saying if you dont like it you can complain to KDHA!!

Had a worst experience today with the absolutely rude management of the KG section. There was a program happening quite early in School today, for which no notice was served to the parents advising for a early drop off. The new HOD/Supervisor(not sure of her appropriate designation) of the KG section was extremely rude to me. My child who is shy and has social phobia has to be prepared in advance before she faces a huge crowd. The new HOD was absolutely refusing to understand the situation. When my child started to cry, she very rudely said that she cant accept any noise or interruptions(the tone itself was hurtful)and shoved us inside. If the management was well intent on making the surprise assembly a success and wanted no interruptions, then they should have closed the KG Gate well before the start of the assembly. Pre Schoolers have a variety of emotions every single day. Either you need to keep the parents informed of such assembly or have a team that would be understanding and accommodative. I have earlier dealt with Ms. Samra of the KG section about my childs issue and she has always been a gem in dealing with both parents and children. The School need to train the newly appointed teachers to be more embracing about the various moods and emotions of the children and on how to deal with the parents diligently. On the pretext of bringing new changes to the learning environment , the School should not ride down the core emotions of the children.

I didnt like the school for many reasons and I made a list of it.1: The school weekly plan its just something that we never follow EX: lets say we are going to have PE, says that we are learning the basics of basketball and we r actually just playing football.2: The school cafeteria is a big mess there is no line everyone keeps pushing each other.3: the school has good teachers but almost every week there is at least one teacher absent. (most of the time we get free)4: when KHDA came to the school they acted like the school was so perfect, no teachers absent, every teacher give their best and everyone acting like the school was always like this.5: there is one kid in my class everyday he behaves bad the teachers send him to the supervisor almost everyday but he never even got a suspension of at least 1 weekThere are other things but these are the main reason why I didnt like the school...

If you are looking for school for your child pls dont register in this school, buses dosnt work, every time teacher absent, pressurizing the teachers extra work, exam schedules always late, when you call to ask about an infomation no one know they promise to call back but nothing etc.............

Google map has been useful to me, without it as a new driver in dubai I will surely miss my way because my experience when I was not making use of it, thought me a lesson that make me to start using it to find my way out in town. I am glad making use of it. Try it and you will enjoy it.

The worst school in the world students so far and after two months of the start of the school without a teacher or a teacher and hear only excuses and promises from the administration
