If you are in Karama near GPO( Emirates Post) and looking for a quick meal, this restaurant serves the same. Not very crowded but ample tables to sit and enjoy your meal ( south indian) . Many parking slots( Paid parking- RTA) available right in front and around the restaurant .

Lunch house is one of the finest restaurants located at Al Karama, Dubai. Its a must visit restaurant, every person who miss their home need to visit. The way every guest is treated in this restaurant is so overwhelming. Food is too finger licking good. I personally suggest you to have paneer soda as a finishing drink. You ll love it. They specialise not only in indian food (they do thali meals and lunch combos also) they have arabic food , they have pizzas they make burgers.As we entered we were greeted at the door. As we ordered we got papad to have with chutney and pickle. The servers were very nice to talk to.To start with we ordered*The Chicken Platter - firstly it was HUGE it came in 2 plates and had 6 varieties of #chicken to have. It had chicken tikka, chicken kabab , noorani kabab( this was the show stopper it was a mix of betroot and pomegranate,really awesome), murg tilori kebab and murg makhmali kebab.For mains i ordered*Chicken Kathi roll-was so nice too have .it was a chicken gravy inside a roti.*Butter Chicken-always a favorite . It was nice and creamy.I had Butter Naan with it.To Drink i ordered*Watermelon Juice- this csn never go wrong. Was noy so cold and was medium sweet. If you are craving for home made food this is place to be. First time ever i am rating a restaurant 5 stars i loved it everything that i have tried in this restaurant. Biryani is a must try. Best idly and sambar in Dubai. Loved their special food items like chizza and Ceylon parottah.

The above photo was taken on 29.12.2020 while I was served this same dish named Chicken Malai Kabab are also known as Reshmi Kebabs. It was tasty and very good flavor and properly cooked! I love to eat @Lunch House Al Karama near EMPost main office!These kebabs belong to Mughlai cuisine and are normally served as starters in restaurants. These kebabs are made with cheese, cream, thick yogurt and spices. They just melt in mouth and tastes delicious. Normally, these kebabs are made in tandoor over charcoal. But you can also make them in the oven, as in this recipe I tried.You can serve these Murg Malai kebabs for parties as starters. Just prepare the marinade and apply to chicken and keep it in the fridge. Just before the party, grill or broil. Serve these kebabs hot with mint chutney and shredded cabbage. It gets grilled in just 20 Minutes and is apt to serve for party as appetizers. You can serve these Murg Malai Kebab Recipe (Reshmi Kebab) as a side dish with Chicken Biryani.

Had been here with a family of 10 and they easily accommodated us. I would call this place as cosy and neat. The staff was couteous friendly and patient with us.We tried the hyderabadi chicken biryani, lucknowo biryani, LH special chicken biryani, goan fish curry, bhindi do piaza, non veg mix platter, paneer kababs, homestyle chicken curry and i must say that a visit to this restaurant was cherished.My personal favorite was the mix platter and the LH special chicken biryani.The paneer kabab was not liked by us and we mentioned this to Rashi the owner and she made sure that we are given another paneer plate and this time we liked it. This is such a nice gesture to satisfy a customer and make sure they are satified for every dirham spent.Its a recommend from my end to try their biryani for sure. They have a poor Hospitality., make us wait for a long time. You feel like you are into someone’s house asking for food. Only when the owner is available the staff seem to be active. Went Morning for a tea.. they replied they don’t have sugar.
