The team arrived on time as agreed and worked quickly and professionally to get the moved completed successfully. We have had the smoothest move ever with On The Move. The team was limited to 5 Filipino movers but very efficient, avoiding us to have too many people running all around the house. All other quotations were proposing 8 to 10 movers. They were very quick at packing and unpacking a 5 BR house. They planned 2 days but completed it in 1.5 days. No damages to walls (we had new paint). Limited dirt and stains on walls. Liam the manager was following up closely before and during the move over the phone and whatsapp. No complaint. Cherry on the cake, On the Move quotation was the most competitive competitive. Only point was that they dont work on Friday and we had to modify our schedule but that was not a major problem for us.

Having lived in Dubai for over 23 years and moved 9 times, I can say this was the most professional company I have used. We are a family of 4 moving from a 4 bedroomed villa.From the initial contact in getting a quote (on time, explained the process, highlighting what is done and not done) to the very hard working team who actually performed the move, ending with the after care contact. The team leader was very dedicated and on top of all the guys moving the items, ensuring they were handled with care. Packing was done very well and efficiently.Slight problems do happen, and was the case with us - however they were dealt with very professionally and with understanding, responding with a solution / resolution promptly without having to chase up - giving the feeling of genuine care. This is a rare quality to find in companies these days - and they get my full admiration for having this within their culture.There are of course cheaper companies out there - but my experience here is that you get what you pay for. On The Move certainly gave me value for money - providing a caring quality service that gave one of the smoothest parts of a highly stressful overall event of moving home.Well done guys - 5 stars are well deserved.

A very professional outfit. The initial visit by Jo gave us a good deal of confidence int he organization. She was efficient and responsive during a challenging time when many things were changing. She managed to deal with our changing requirements and once we we had a date to move was able to sort out the timings so we were without our stuff for the minimum of time. The on the day packers were also very good protecting the breakables and keeping volume down effectively and the shipping, despite only being a partial load was carried out as forecast, arriving in the uK almost exactly as required. I would use again without hesitation.

On the day of our shifting, the rain was unusually heavy and its understandable that the Dubai Roads will be a chaos. When they arrived, my stuff were neatly and properly wrapped/boxed, plus they are very careful moving things around. When I moved into my new apartment they were even willing to go into the container and remove the items I didnt want delivered. At every step of the process I felt like a valued customer. I used On the Move services 2 times, the first time it was amazing, however the second time, it was at all not professional.The packing person in the kitchen was wetting his fingers with Saliva to get the wrapping paper to pack the glasses, even though the company share a long email about the COVID-19 measures but their team was far from respecting any hygiene measures even without COVID what they do was not acceptable.for sure I tried to tell to the person that he has to wash his hands and stop doing that, but I was not successful.I then tried to call the moving consultant that never picked my phone calls .I managed to reach the company manager, who promised to send a cleaner the next day for couple of hours to wash the glasses as I don t have a way to sanitize .After the move, I discovered that part of my kitchen glasses are not there.So again I tried to call the moving consultant who again did not pick the calls for couple of days or reply to the WhatsApp messages till I sent her a message saying that u may try to answer me by message as a kind of change.when she replied to my message and I explained the problem, she promised to check and revert and she checked and confirmed that they did not leave any box behind them or in the truck and asked me if I am sure and what is the count of the glasses and the items.To be very honest, I felt accused rather than a person with problem, so after days of discussion, I decided to go to the old building and to ask myself and I checked the old apartment after getting back the keys from the owner and to my surprise i discovered that they forgot the content of a complete cabinet.The moving consultant said that they are Sorry and send the next day the team to get the missing items.Conclusion, even though the service was a complete mess, and I was obliged to find the missing items myself all what you get is Sorry .Honestly, I believe that they are not the professional company they were couple of years ago but they still charge the fees as if they are.

The first time I availed of On The Moves services was back in 2013, when I moved from Tecom to Dubai Marina. I was incredibly impressed by their professionalism, punctuality and efficiency. They came at 9AM and by 6PM I was all setup in my new pad, furniture reassembled, boxes unpacked and all.Fast forward 8 years later, and when it was time to escape Marina to the much more serene neighborhood of Science Park, you guessed it - OTM answered the call once again. Given that almost a decade had passed, I was curious to see if their standards had dipped as is the tendency with most companies here. Not so. Pleasant deja vu once again! In fact, they one-upped their previous performance, and while the starting time of 9AM was the same, they had me settled in my new crib at 3PM.Moving is always a mentally and physically strenuous experience, but when you have a crew that knows what they are doing - including careful handling of pricey/priceless items and disassembling/reassembling IKEA furniture faster than IKEAs own team - much of that stress is assuaged!Thank you to Laura for her impeccable assistance throughout the entire process, including providing boxes and packing materials in advance so that I could pack some personal items on my own. Dont hesitate or try to save a few bucks by hiring those dodgy roadside trucks. You get what you pay for, and OTM is worth every penny. That said, their charges represented incredible value considering the quality of service you receive!

Absolutely useless. Paid their premium prices and they didnt deliver.Hired them for an overseas move from Dubai to Ireland. They gave me a delivery date of December 26th. It is now January 12th and I dont even have an ETA anymore.My container sat in a port in India for 11 days with no explanation. It is currently scheduled to sit in Antwerp for another 7 days with no explanation.Every time I contact them I am told - it is out of our control and in the hands of the shipping company. I asked her to get pro-active with them while the container has been bouncing around Europe since December 28th but keep getting the same useless response. She even had the nerve to blame Covid, Brexit and The Holidays - like these were surprise obstacles that suddenly occurred.As far as I can see once they have your money - they dont care anymore. Avoid at all costs - save yourself the money and go with the cheaper options - you will get the same (or maybe better) service.

We contacted Laura for a quote which came back 40% more expensive than other very reputable companies who were equally recommended to us and with similar rating and reviews. To which I called her and asked how come this difference we are happy to pay a premium but want to understand. Answer was its your call just send an email and well see if we can do a discount I wasnt expecting that !!! Anyhow I send an email and attached the competition quote as she asked. 30 min later I receive an email saying the quote we gave you is the best we can do have a good day. Plus the competition does not charge extra for Friday moving and the competiton kindly gave us 04 hours of handyman included.My experience : arrogant and zero commercial attitude.I am expecting an answer from management (am sure you know who I am please ask Laura) and I am more than happy to send any supporting document.PS : we went with Alfa Movers great customer experience so far.

We moved this summer , from Dubai back to UK with on the move. We have been working abroad over 14 years . We always travel with all our furniture- which include huge solid oak bookcase, many paintings and a very expensive and fragile marble dining table. Plus all the rest of our loved belongings and fond memories. In short we do not travel light ( 40 Ft containers) and we are not a simple and straight one . Because we ve been moving recently every couple of years, we came to know better what we wanted and the best way for us to achieve it. Lets not deny we are quite hands on. So when quoting moving companie, the most important for us is not big names or glossy brochure but smaller team and the ability to listen and to provide a tailored made solution. And it is exactly what we got. From day one with Jo, we have been able to control the full process and ask for specific requirements. Everything went smooth, as planned and with very straight and good communication. Their partner here in UK are as professional as they are. Nothing has been lost - and we had over 350 boxes , nothing was damaged and it is where I have to give huge credit to the packing team in Dubai. As I said earlier, we were really hands on . But they were very gracious, very understanding and worked with us every steps of the way for the packing of certain items. They take the money in advance, pack the boxes, disappear for several hours and then drop the boxes all in one room in the new house.If you pay for VIP packing and unpacking service, you might as well burn your money. They do not finish on time, take long breaks and do NOT unpack your items.I am waiting for management to return my calls 6 months later

Right from the get-go of getting a quote, to collecting the empty moving boxes. Communication was easy and efficient, stuff was moved without anything missing or broken. Moved a 3 bed + study villa from Springs to Jumeirah Islands, start to finish in a day. Well done! High recommended!

Some staff were not professional. They came without cooler for fridge item, put them in the paper boxand left it outside in the truck while the temp was 37 degrees. One of the staff kept playing with my husbands personal stuff like skateboard, toy gun and he even rode the electric scooter without asking. I still cant find my clock hung in the kitchen before, fridge items were found in the freezer, books were all upside down, living room items were found in the kitchen... it was my first time with On The Move and wasnt a pleasant experience.

From the first phone call with Katie to the emails with Nikki and then the big Move ,On The Move made our experience of moving from one house to another very smooth. On The Move was recommended to me by a friend and I will certainly be recommending them to others. The team were efficient, cautious, professional and fast. We had one breakage a 20 dirham Ikea frame that I actually broke myself everything else arrived at our new home with zero damage. We have used other movers in the past and lets just say our experience was not good. People say moving is stressful when you have a good team of people its actually kind of fun. The guys were quick and it appeared they knew what they were doing however, their handling was a rough with a few things and ultimately resulted in our TV being damaged and our bin was missing. We ignored the missing bin but the TV was a big deal as it costed us more than the move itself to replace the TV. When we addressed this with Jen and her team their response felt a bit like Well, you should have gotten the insurance then. Im sure we would have if it was stressed by the team. Also they do need to realise that the damage was on them due to negligence.
