Love this mosque as it is the only one accessible whilst heading to Gusais or Sharjah from Deira. If time is the essence, best place to stop or you will not have another mosque on the way and may miss your prayer on time.

Dubais Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) opened the first environmentally friendly mosque in the entire Islamic world to worshippers. Khalifa Al Tajer Mosque, in Bur Saeed Street, Deira, Dubai, has the capacity for some 3,500 worshippers.Located on 105,000 square feet of land, the new green mosque was designed with energy efficiency in mind and was built with environmentally friendly materials.The building which covers 45,000 square feet uses green building materials, thermal-insulation systems for lowering energy consumption and air conditioners that emit reduced greenhouse gases.

Very nice mosque. The mosque is divided into two sections, with the bigger section open for Friday prayers. The mosque has wudhu facilities available in two different places - one outdoors and the other indoors. Ample space for praying, even on Fridays. Great location for people working around the area. Parking D zone available right next to the mosque.

I visited Khalifa Al Tajer mosque to pray the everyday Maghreb prayer, so they had only the smaller side in use. But even the smaller space tells about the skillfull planning: The decoration of meshids inside is rather moderate, but the colours and the light make the peaceful athosphere to pray. The imams voice is low and very melodic and precise in melody. It makes the listener to feel happy in ones prayer.
