I was invited there for lunch. Food is great. Service is good. Easy access. Decorations and fixtures take out from the small space. 2 stars for the poor air conditioning, which makes it unbearably hot. When the whole group complained to the staff, they said it is not broken and ridiculously told us that We ate fish, which raises body temperature. I didn’t eat fish. Your a/c is poor. That’s it.

I really enjoyed my experience here. Everything was excellent, starting from the way the staff greeted us to the tea and aseeda we had at the end. The place is clean, comfy, and family friendly. We started our dinner with lentil soup, followed by a mixed Kebbeh plater, Fatoosh, and Hummus. They were all spot on and tasty. For the main course we had Sour Kebbeh, Dolma, and Kebbab with Teman (rice). They all tasted great, but I wasn’t really into the Dolma. It tasted strange. All in all, the restaurant is worth trying, and I’m definitely coming back.

The fish is definitely the main event at Samad Al Iraqi. I would highly recommend bringing at least 4 people to eat here as the portion for the fish is huge. The fish comes with lentil soup, a salad, fresh bread and a date and pine nut dessert. The fish is based on market price and the size of the fish varies. For the smallest fish they had, it cost around 400AED. All in all, decent and would come back. Just need to bring more people to make it worth it!!!

Best Iraqi restaurant in Dubai. Famous with their Maskouf dish which is a fish grilled on Iraqi way. The homus was really delicious and tasty. Grill shrimp was really amazing too. Hot bread was so tasty. Have very nice decorations and atmosphere. The staff so friendly. Service was very fast.

Ive been visiting Samad with my family since I was a child.. quality never dropped.Their generosity is something else.. complimentary lentil soup, bread, and salad, and unlimited tea. Juicy, aromatic with slight charred edges on the outer layer. This is an amazing dish.There’s also free flow of salad and sour pickles, a bowl of pleasantly plain lentil soup and a large round of floppy, hot-out-the-oven flatbread.There’s so much spice and fragrance flavored that cuts through all the grease and fattiness of the meat assortia here (lamb, chicken, beef..etc). The intense richness ultimately defeated me and I managed to eat only half of what was in front of meYou will not go hungry here.

Excellent, specially the fish and traditional dishes

Grilled fish is really good. We also tried deep fried fish, and both are very fresh. Vegetable soup and onion soup are another choice for those who staying at Dubai for few days in dried weather. Portion is very big and we all are super full.

First time to be in an İraqi restaurant. Mostly lamb was served and i am not a fan of lamb. But the side dishes and fish was really delicious. Tea and ayran was different than we get use to.

I think its a good place to give something different for your tastebuds. Excellent ambiance and real iraqi cuisine. If you are planning to visit over weekends, I would suggest to make reservation. Must try their tea as its complimentary. Over all food experience was great. Not very expensive compared to such level of restaurant. Will share more details if got chance to visit them.

The best Iraqi restaurant in the city, the location is prime, parking is available, seating area is a bit congested. Tables are very close to each other. Service is slow during the weekends. Prices are matching the meal size. Ramadan buffet is outstanding and must visited.

An amazing restaurant with variety of food, that all are delicious, every single item on the menu is delicious from their tashreeeb to grills to appetizers, The rice, potato, groats kubbah and meat borek and cheese borek are delicious , the best of the kind, the stuffed vinyl leaves are delicious, The Shawarma tashreeb and qaleiya tashreeb is really filling and delicious, the grills especially the Meat Kebab is really juicy and cooked tenderly, the stuffed chicken is really delicious and is a big portion, the meat quzi is an Iraqi speciality the special river fish ‘maskoof’, is really good and orouk is delicious, their juices are amazing, they give you complementary soup and salads, the portions are amazing and they give you free tea and sweet, staff are courteous and overall excellent service

I have made a booking with the restaurant a month in advance for more than 10 people. And at the time I made the booking, I was promised to have a discount of some sort. With an advance booking they reserved the worst tables for us, which were not even in the restaurant. The manager made an excuse, that they are fully booked and made us sit outside, where the mall is, and it was super hot.The Service is horrible and not one person spoke/understood english. In the end we did not receive any discount, that was promised to us, and their service and arrogance definitely does not cover for the great food they are serving!!!!Very disappointed!!!

I heard about this Iraqi restaurant few months ago and wanted to try their masgouf fish.We ordered masgouf fish, fattoush, hummus.Theyve provided complimentary lentil soup, bread and tea.Lentil soup was good enough.Bread was freshly baked.Fattoush: not the best fattoush that I have.Hummus was rich and creamy.Now... time for masgouf fish: they grilled the carp fish by traditional Iraqi way... fish was perfectly cooked and full of flavors. It takes almost 45min to 1 hour to cook.They served it with one special sauce.Staffs are friendly and cooperative.

I was told that the maskoof fish is delicious here, anyways i didnt get to try it instead i had the ghozi meat meal with rice and livers plate. It was ok and i wasnt very impressed with the Ghozi!!

Great food, elegant restaurant you have to try the tea there .Besides it has a fabulous service.It was my second time to try this restaurant, the first one was in the other branch, I liked both of them, but this branch is more lively and well organized, the best dish I had was kebbah Mowsel with nuts, I liked it too much, the tea man was so polite and funny, the waiters were great as well.

A classic example of when quality is maintained what happens. Wish they had a subsidiary with more economical prices for people on the go ..

You don’t know what you are missing until you try their grill’d fish. We had the fish with some hummus and fatoush. Bread, a really delicious soup, black tea and Iraqi coffee is complimentary.

We visited at lunch time for a Friday family lunch. The decor of this restaurant is pleasant.The main attraction of this restaurant menu is their fish specialty called Al Mansaf. Delicious fish cooked with the smoke of fire, they do it very well! We also ordered some Iraqi classics such as Dolma and kebab, they were quite good. Their aryan (yogurt drink was excellent).Oberall, a nice restaurant, yet on the day we visited it was very crowded (I guess this is a good thing for them) that we were a bit overwhelmed by the noise, and were not able to stay as long as we usually do during a lazy Friday family. lunch.We will surely be back on a week day for the lovely Mansaf!

Multiple seating options, quick service to start with but after the meal, waiting for the desert was a bit of a disappointment. But once the desert came it was anything but disappointing. For main dishes and grills from the Iraqi kitchen it doesnt get much better. However if its masgoof you are after, there are better options.

Authentic Iraqi Home-made (Bamiya, different kind of Kubbah....) and Iraqi Restaurant food (Grilled Kebab and Tekka and other festive dishes) in an unique atmosphere with unlimited FOC Iraqi Tea and Bread..... And great service on top!If you like heavy and very tasty breakfast, then you should be there before noon - always a reason to be there.

Thy told me the buffet is AED 100 on the phone and after we had iftar thy charged us 170 for each person. The food was nice though.
