What I should say that I missed about this 15-day Dubai trip was to stay at Burj Al Arab. The place was indeed luxurious and it was one of my best coffee experience at Sahn Eddar. Everything they serve there tastes so good - mocktails, desserts and of course the famous gold cappucino plus their super nice and warm staffs - Rony, Regina and another slim & petite Asian lady that I didnt get the name. Shes the one took our photos.
We had afternoon tea at the Sahn Eddar. We had booked the Sweet Indulgence package, which consisted of a mocktail, pastry and a coffee. The pastry was on the sweet side, but still nice. They had non dairy options like almond milk for the coffee. Ambience was beautiful and service was excellent. Lovely place to just sit and while away time.
Situated in Burj Al Arab, used to be the lounge cafe for hot drinks and sweets. Currently you can have a meal with great selection and variety of dishes along with the afternoon tea. Being in this iconic hotel means you required to make a reservation and be wary of the minimum spend. Great place to try either for drink and sweets or for a meal.
Wonderful experience in Burj Al Arab! I would recommend it all who love luxury and indulgence. Staff is very professional and friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The standard jazz music in the background contributes to a nice and comfortable setting.
We visited on the 11th of July. As I asked if its ok to walk around before dining we observed a sad scenery with all kinds of construction equipment left lying around the hotel and holes that were dug and left unfinished and landscaping that was not done.As we reached the bar area a rude Russian lady told us dont go close to the pool ..We reached the lounge and they gave us a good table but the service took forever and after an hr and a half we discovered that the waitress forgot to order our main course...We received some sad cookies as a service recoveryThe bill was extremely high I found, I had 3 glasses of rose and my partner one , a bottle of water and a main course that arrived the next day for 200€. I guess its a one time visit.
This seven course afternoon tea was the highlight of our trip. Not only did we get three hours of eating, drinking (tea), and relaxing, we got to see the gorgeousness that is Burj Al Arab. A win all the way around. The majority of my gluten free items were amazing while there were some flavors that I didnt personally enjoy, like the saffron pudding/gelatin. All in all, it was pretty doggone awesome. One of the most significant differences between this afternoon tea and others weve tried is that you get endless tea. You can order a new pot, a new flavor, over and over and over and over. The service here was also excellent. These folks were on top of everything, every minute of the experience.
Nice place, if you want have expirience with gold cappuccinno. Noble atmosphere. Spatial 5 stars for russian lady, which served us!)💫
Afternoon tea was a mediocre experience. Food is not that impressive as I remember 2 years ago,. Service is also mediocre. Nothing special, we certainly expected more.
The high noon tea and the service - priceless.
So,good for every thing, nice place, nice people and great service. We thank for all.I will be back for came back again.
Amazing place staff very helpful loved the cakes
Very authentic food that make you feel happy in the seven star Burj Al Arab hotel. You have to get a reservation first to go there to have this experience. Also you can have a nice view from there lobby to fountain. Also you can have a beach access to watch the beauty of the hotel and the sea.
Nice to visit
Good👍🏻😃
Great experience need great desire. You have to visit this place to appreciate the beautiful décor. It will great place to give yourself a treat of 24crt gold cappatinu and enjoy the company of you partner. Take your angry wife there and she will be fine after this..I guarantee you this. Enjoy:)
Grateful for a wonderful experience. The staff especially under the lead of Jackylin has made our first dining experience there a memorable one. We left with such a big smile on our face! :) Thank you :)
It is a wonderful time to spend talking about different things in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Their afternoon tea is one of the best. If youre going for indulging yourself for a luxurious day, you should definitely go their. Also, the variety that they offer in their menu sure suits everyone.
Very good food...loved the view....went for ala carte menu, north indian meal....Berna who was serving us was very pleasant and friendly...would definately go again...
Very nice place
Amazing! Decor, food selection and quality. Most accommodating staff. Memorable experience. Definitely I will come back
Great Food, Friendly staff, excellent atmosphere
Had an extremely unpleasant time dining at this restaurant yesterday. Despite me telling the staff from the time I made the reservation to me getting there and informing two different service staff at the restaurant that I was allergic to red meat, I was still served red meat without even letting me know. After serving me a dish that I was allergic to and making me lose my appetite, I was still charged the full amount. Im astonished at the service... definitely not up to even a 3 star hotel service standards if they can serve their customer a dish that they are allergic to. Shocking that they are in prestigious Burj Al Arab which is supposed to be the worlds most iconic hotel. Very disappointing.
Luxurious interior, and ofcourse restaurants are pretty expensive. Beautiful experience altogether.
Staff could be better with kids. Overall all good... Amazing 7 star hotel. Hot chocolate was awesome
Staff was very nice and breakfast with plenty of food.
Cozy Cafe on the first floor of Burj Al Arab... service is a little bit slow but you can enjoy the atmosphere while waiting 😆
Burj AlArab wonderful place to visit, Gold Coffee cost 120 AED😍👌🏻
Nice restaurant, friendly staff and excellent quality food.
Quiet place with a good view of the beach. Excellent service especially with Nitish - very accommodating and hospitable 👏👏👏
Very nice service
The Burj Al Arabs restaurant matches the reputation of the hotel it resides in. Offering meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it provides a quality experience at the center of the hotels hall
We visited the Burj on January 4, 2019 as a treat to our son and daughter-in-law who were heading back to the States later that night. We made a reservation at the lobby restaurant where the minimum spend was AED 250 per person. The setting was beautiful but the service was atrocious. It took a very long time to be waited on, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and there was plenty of staff on hand. We ordered coffees and a main dish each. The coffee arrived at least 20 minutes later, all cold. Two of us ordered the AED 120 gold cappuccino and it was definitely not worth the price. I’ve had the similar drink at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi and it was delightful. We finished our coffee and waited an eternity for our meals. When they finally arrived, only three of the four meals were delivered and they were already cold. We waited another 15 minutes or so for the last dish which also arrived cold. At no time during our ordeal did anyone come to apologize for the long wait or explain what was going on. When the last meal was delivered I asked the server if he was the manager, and he said he was. I then told him how disappointed we were with the service and the quality of food and drinks. He did apologize and said there was no kitchen attached to the lounge and they had to get the orders from the main kitchen and it was very busy. Not good enough. He should have proactively explained this to us well before serving our last order. He offered to give us another coffee order on the house but as he couldn’t guarantee it would arrive quickly or hot, we declined. When we asked for the bill he graciously removed the coffees from our check, which we appreciated, but honestly we shouldn’t have had to pay for anything. This is not what we expected from a 7 star hotel. He also offered to give us a free tour of the hotel as we were leaving, but we didn’t have time and it was too little, too late. We will not be back and will definitely not recommend this restaurant.
Service was excellent and Marianette always comes around with a smile. And the ambiance! What can I say? It was the best weve experienced in our 3-day visit of Dubai.
Very classy dining experience. The staff headed by Lota were very friendly and accomodating. The food for our breakfast was superb. The surpise birthday greeting thru song, rose flower and card given to my best friend was heartwarming. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.
Enjoyed the afternoon tea here. Great service. Ice sandwiches and mulled wine. The pianist and water feature was a nice touch.
Sahn Eddar restaurant - Pretty bad! You are treated like a second class citizen - it is no restaurant - you are seated in the open lobby - and you cant go anywhere on the property. It is straight to the lobby from the main entrance - poor quality and overpriced food - no views whatsoever - and then you are out the same way. To add to the insult, they determine the rate of exchange (from US$ to dirham) which is much less than the market rate - and you are not told that until your card is swiped and you read the receipt which says the card issuer (Mastercard) cannot determine the rate. What a rip off! Do not get sucked into the scam. The whole place is almost 20 years old and looks very much run down - it does not feel like a luxury hotel at all.
Fabulous staff, lovely afternoon tea and an amazing place.

❤️❤️
So so
The service is great once you get there and the food is phenomenal, although I had some issues making my booking over the phone since the online booking was not available. My appreciation to Alex who waited us during our visit, he made the experience great. Thank you all.
HONTEUX !
Organisation indigne !!
Nice place. Children are allowed. Pre-booking is preferred. It is written on their website that the minimum request is 200 dirhams per person, but I do not expect that they require the customer (not sure)We ordered a TV for 6 people.. one person is approximately 490 dirhams with unlimited drinks..
The place is beautiful and quiet....✨The coffee is beautiful...✨Delicious honey cake..✨
EN - if you want to spend a nice time in Burj el Arab I recommend breakfast - especially the Parisian formula. For 220 aed (55 euros) you will enjoy a hot drink, a cold, basket of pastries, granola and cheese. The products are quality but it is especially the location that you pay!The restaurant is on the first floor and unfortunately this reservation does not allow you to go to the rooftop bar to admire the view. You will have to take another drink - or even have a reservation according to the timings.
Extraordinary place. I recommend the Capuccino Gold, which is divine

Very dignified location to celebrate the teatime, excellent teas and pastries
The amount of star we have on Google is small to rate this place. Needless to say, simply the most luxurious place Ive ever visited in my life.
