It is a scam !We were approached by a guy from Royal smart limousine and he said taxi when we got in the car he told the driver something in a different language but we heard him say forty. He then drove us while we are asking how much it costs us to our destination and he said 40 Aed. We paid 12 Aed from our destination to the City.His reasons were: the fare costs a minimum of 40aed which isnt true because on their website a toyota alphard costs a minimum of 25 aed. We then realised he was driving us in circles around the place he picked us up.NEVER get in a Royal Smart Limousine! You will pay more and it is a scam! You recognize their Cars by a RSL logo on the cars and they dont have the taxi sign on the top. Also they dont show the actual price of the fare.

Worst company on earth their hrlp line isnt answered and they never check and reply their emails for their app interface is not user friendly so complicated worst company i urge all of uou to use uber or careem

Dubai mall taxi service pushed us to use this service instead of regular taxis. Charged almost 3x of a normal taxi. We didn’t even have a limousine type car. Just a regular. Driver was also extremely rude and unfriendly and I had to type the hotel name into his phone.Don’t use it! Waste of money.

They do scam you charging you 5x more the normal rate. Avoid the Dubai Mall taxi service by all means! Such a poor service and shameful to scam their tourist... would never have happened in Harrods or Selfridges.

Scam artists taking advantage of tourists. First day in Dubai and as we enter the Dubai mall taxi zone we get very hastily shuffled into a car by a guy who says it’s a Dubai taxi and “same price” — we didn’t know any better so we get in the car and there is no meter. The guy wants to charge about 4x what the taxi fare was on the way to the mall just to get back to our origin. Driver got agitated and made us feel unsafe. Only get in a car that says taxi!

Scammers! Last day in dubai and these happened. Was exiting the mall and they pointed us to this taxi, when I asked is a dubai taxi and the guy just pretend he didnt hear, but star driving, then I checked the receipt and it turns to be some limo service. We were using Uber and they do have a lexuses as well, but these guys are a complete rip off. Just check when you at the pick up point at the mall! Paid 70aed where I was paying 25ead-40aed depending on what I was using.

Well I wouldnt give any star whatsoever. Be careful of these scammers!! Theyll pretend to be a normal taxi and theyll charge you more than twice the price!! Absolutely terrible and the driver was horrible, lying in our faces when we asked why it that price and he just said oh its just a different rate from Dubai Mall. What a jerk.

We had a similar experience to others on here from Dubai mall. The staff assured me when asking that the black Lexus she directed us to was standard taxi, same prices. I shouldnt have believed her. It could have been worse, but we paid about a third more than journey in. Well be more careful next time. It is worrying when Dubai Mall staff outright lie about this situation though.

Very unsatisfactory limousine service. We ordered a limousine for 18:30 o‘clock in the evening and we waited until 18:50 before we are forced to switch to an official taxi service, because we have to be on time, because we had an appointment in the Burj al Arab at 19:00 o‘clock. Don‘t book this limousine service, in the case of that you have to be on time!

Beware RSL are running a taxi scam on tourists from the Dubai Mall, we were guided into an white lexus, I asked was this an normal official taxi & was told by your staff member it was a normal taxi with a meter. We were charged double of a previous journey. Unprofessional & taking advantage of tourists!!! Bad service!

Queued for a taxi at Dubai Mall and I was ushered into a white Lexus by staff there. Journey home cost exactly double what the reverse journey had cost earlier that evening.Total scam and tourist trap.

VIP booked for 4 people, normal car for max. 3 people at the pick-up point. Tried to explain that I didnt book this car, the driver was very unfriendly, the 4 of us wanted to drive in this car despite Corona. Trip aborted and I should pay fees for the next trip. App deleted! Better to use Uber. Big rip off!

Taken at the Dubai mall, no meter, the driver took a long detour and charged us 45 dirham more (he wanted us to pay in euros plus hahaha), that we used to pay with a Uber van.Be careful not to take Royal Smart Limousine drivers to the Dubai Mall parking lot, it is usually the car park staff that redirects the tourists to them !!!
