Its not the normal type of supermarkets you find in Dubai. Full of japanese products.

Check your prices. They are not honest with their prices. Two identical items marked as set and sold individual are different prices.Individually the pieces come to AED28 for both spoon and rest. BUT as a set AED 32... when asked what the additional AED4 was for, both sales ladies tried convince me that Im stupid by saying the items are different YET MATCH completely.Crooks!

We chanced upon this Japanese store, it was interesting. As usual, I will always come out of the store with some items like green tea, wasabi, ramen instant noodles, etc 😬

Glad that the shop was open. Good assortment of products. Ideal to have Japanese cast iron pots. Marvelous range of Japanese knives but considering the price and potential product features, it would be good to have specialists to introduce, advise and recommend suitable products.The range of products are so attractive that it is contagious to look further because every product seems very necessary!Very friendly and helpful staff.Definitely will go again!

------- I would like to bring to your attention that the shop has expiry date alteration practices. -------The kimchi box you see, was purchased in mid June. Expiry date indicates August. However upon investigation you can see that the dates marked with white eraser reveal production date as 10 January 2020 and expiry March 2020.The item was sold already expired and harmful for consumption. What caught my attention was after opening the box, strong yeast and moldy smell. Clearly the food is off and not to be consumed and can cause food poisoning or death.Perhaps Dubai Food and Health authorities should investigate whether the product expiry date alteration are more common in this shop.

This store relocated from a nearby location about 3 years ago. Now probably twice bigger, with more Japanese foods & merchandise. Good stocks & well priced.

The shop is equiped for japanese cuisine and offers frozen and dried ingredients. Cooling utensils, professional knives for sushi chefs. Pricy but worth it.

There are some great products - however the Non-Halal Section, lacks of basic ingredients, full of ready-made microwave meals. A great addition of fresh products would be greatly apreciated. The store is a bit boring too

Right now the only place where found Japanese whetstone, knifes, mandoline and equipments for the kitchen!And it have a decent amount of Japanese food.

Great place to get your authentic Japanese goodies from noodles, cold goods and even your favorite Japanese treats. We get our sushi stuff here, they also sell classic Japanese appliances as well as knives if youre into making sashimis and the like.

One of the few places in UAE with a solid selection of instant 7aRamen, that is, instant ramen with ingredients from a certain type of non-halal beast. There is, in fact, a quite extensive collection of non-halal foodstuffs and ingredients. Their frozen ingredients, teas, and condiments fulfill most basic needs for the Japanese kitchen. High quality Japanese cookware, dinnerware, porcelain, cutlery, and utensils make up almost half of the stores offerings. Note: moved premises in 2017, but if you end up at the old location, youre just a stones throw away from the current store.

The variety of products and foods available was pleasantly surprising! Will definitely be coming back. Would recommend to anyone whos spent any amount of time in Japan.
