I love their Ramen and sushi. Quite pricey but worth it for its price. Nice view if eating outdoor, you can see the fountain show. You can use your entertainer on main dishes.

Hungry and craving for Yakisoba ended up going to Motomachi. A delightful experience on a whole. The service was decent and the ambiance was great, with views of the Lake. Oh and special mention to the menu. It has beautifully designed layouts and photographs.

I have always been terrified of eating sushi in Dubai with the fear of it not being fresh and not authentic but I am so happy to say that I now have a regular go to place which is Motomachi.The sushi is freshly handmade and absolutely delicious and the rest of the menu also is so tasty and makes me feel like I’m in Japan.An absolute must visit if you’re a fan of Japanese food!

Try to visit this Japanese restaurant here inside Dubai festival city.. motomachi the food is really tasty and the menus are not so pricey.. They accept 4 smiles or entertainer vouche per table which is nice if your having a large number of people dining...

Great atmosphere in there. Attenders with Japanese traditional outfits are great sight. Makes it more culture focused. Coming to food, it was outstanding. But we played safe and picked noodles and teriyaki chicken with rice. Definitely coming back for exploring ramens and maki rolls

Had high expectations from this Japanese restaurant. Skipped the yo-sushi restaurant around the corner to dine at this more upmarket restaurant.The ambience was very nice they have tables of different capacity from 2 to over a dozen seats. One can sit indoors or in the patio facing the waterfront with a very nice view.The menu is wide spread. I ordered a sashimi salad as it’s pic was very tempting. When the salad arrived I found just 4-5 pieces of salmon and tuna in total. This I felt this was too little given the price of the dish which was over AED50. I added some unagi maki to my order and I got 4 pieces for AED 32 which just ok.The soya was too salty and the in-house salad dressing as rather pungent.To be fair I would not write it off as I didn’t really try any main course this time.

Friendly staff. Good quality food. Nice environment. I found that wasabi needed improvement. Katsu curry has sophisticated taste. Unfortunately, oshiburi wet towel (to clean your hands) was not offered, however it is a very important part for the good quality restaurant hospitality in Japan. You can have fork or spoon upon request if you can’t use the chopsticks.

Great Japanese resturant with authentic Japanese food.I really liked the atmosphere and the variety of setting area, the food tasted great and they bring food promptly without any delay.We had an issue with the bill that we had to ask for the manager, she were very kind and apologetic and sorted everything out.I’ll definitely come back to try more delicious dishes.

One of my favourite places for a quick and Delecious authentic Sushi experience 🍣 you can say that its the best place to have Japanese food at this side of the creek. They have an offer going on that can get you a decent discount for your 2nd 3rd or 4th visit within a month.

Great Japanese restaurant! Its affordable and casual, not like those high-end places pretending to be Japanese with just sushi. Motomachi has a selection of authentic dishes on their menu and I cant wait to try them all. I had the ramen for lunch and although its still not quite the same as home, it is definitely the best one Ive had in Dubai so far. Highly recommend this place if you want real Japanese food.

I remember they used to have some Japanese chef working. Not sure about it now. At least 3 Japanese waitresses working now. Polite and efficient.I was disappointed that unlike other Japanese restaurants, they don’t have complimentary tea. Have to pay for small green tea pot.Also you don’t get wet tissue unless you ask. As a Japanese restaurant they should give wet tissue automatically.I wanted to use the entertainer coupon but the waitress lady said that the dish we ordered(Saikyo miso marinated cod) was not main dish, it’s signature dish so we can’t use the coupon. I thought it’s such a stupid rule.I was happy with the meal but this stupid rule spoiled my feeling.

The best Macha latte in town! The Katsu curry rice is not bad,although I wish the curry sauce had some potatoes and carrots to balance the taste and texture. However Gyu Don as far as my lovely companion says, she loved it. She said it was not overly sweet and has a well balanced flavor.

Attractive interiors, friendly staff and a nicely balanced menu. Lunchtime bentos are a steal at 49dhs and their cheesecake is lovely (not even a cheesecake person). 5/5 for the experience and 3/5 for the food, which although well presented still felt a bit lacking. For instance, the miso soup and soba sauce (soba bento) were really enjoyable, but the soba itself was simply okay. Similarly, the takoyaki although delightfully plated, was missing tako (octopus) in half the pieces! Its only been open two months so I hope the food improves because we could really do with more Japanese restaurants in Dubai especially ones so nicely designed.

Really liked the place especially its location near the creek. In terms of food, no complaints when it comes to sushi, sashimi stuff but on the other menu items the consistency is not always the same especially yakiniko. The staff are quite helpful especially the japanese ladies which are trying their best help out eventhough their english is not that good. Kudos!

While it sets itself up as a legit Japanese Restaurant, the ramen is so-so (and a tad bit too salty) and the maki is a little underwhelming. The price point is also a little too steep. On a positive note, the cheesecake is rather fluffy tho

Real taste of Japan! They treat very well. Service is very nice. Food is very good. I rarely go with Japanese food but this was a good restaurant. I mostly had sushi and I asked them to provide only Veg and they were focusing on what is required by each one of us. Japanese theme and ambience at the restaurant is good. We spent a good time with friends and Japanese food. :)

Restaurant athmosphere is nice but major draw back on the service. Plate are “thrown” in front of you and you feel that staff is bored to be there in there attitude. Also, desert was frozen food and even half hot, starter portion are very small. Will not recommend this place.

The ambiance of the restaurant is great. They have an area facing the fountain area of DFC Mall. That area is good from 6pm on wards to watch the fountain show. The food is also great especially their promotion. Normal meal is a little expensive. But its understandable because they have a nice ambiance. And the staff are great also, very helpful and polite. We will definitely come back.

Got cheesecake for wifes birthday and they wrote incomplete message stapled the package deceitfully and handed over.. asked them for red and they wrote in black.. I wouldnt expect this in a Japanese restaurant! As a silver lining the Cake tasted good!

When comparing with the many Japanese restuarants I have tried (inside and outside the country), this is very average or even below average one. I really wanted to give a higher rate as the customer service was very good but this is the most I could give indeed. The quality has to be improved in my opinion!

I felt like I came to Japan because of many Japanese staff and Japanese radio. Whole feeling of restaurant was little Japan. Menu is very good selection and all tasty!! I really like the Ramen and Salmon crispy roll. Cheesecake was even better than Japan. I could taste cheese but very light. Chocolate cake was also very tasty. I love Raw coffee too. I see most of customer were eating Cheesecake with Japanese green tea, but I think coffee taste better with it. I will come back again soon.

I love this place, its my go-to for reliably tasty Japanese food.The food is great and well made. I would recommend their curry (with rice or noodles) but I also loved their ramen. I had the dough balls for dessert and it was a very unique taste. I only visited 3 times so I havent had a chance to try that much but I loved everything I had so far.The staff are kind, helpful and can help with recommending something nice and not just something that pads the bill. The ambience is incredible, the whole place just feels so comfy and nice.

First visit was the best for everything. Second visit was.. a bit different. What I ordered sushi and sahimi were fresh and staffs are very friendly. The desserts were served just looked like menu but tastes did not reach my expectation. I might go once more so that I can score what average is.

If you are vegetarian, this restaurant is not for you. There is nothing vegetarian on the menu. Otherwise, food is good.

The best Japanese restaurant. The food here is so yummy specially the donburi and the sushi here is awesome. If I would like to tell about the deserts and drinks than u should try the cheese cake, its very Gud and the mojito is also awesome.... Ordered a chicken Miso Ramen. Broth was flavourful, meat was good too, but had around60+% cabbage with the rest as noodles. Couldnt enjoy the noodles because of the excessive cabbage.

I don’t usually eat Japanese food or sushi but this place got me addicted to their chicken teriyaki!! Just the right amount of flavor and they cook their chicken well unlike some neighboring restaurants ! I would so recommend the cheesecake as it’s so fluffy that it melts in your mouth, a taste that will have you coming back just for this dessert !

My reason is for the food quality it was terrible lately. I usually would order takoyaki one of my favorite. Yet to my surprise I found 4 plastic burnt object inside the takoyaki. Usually, squid meat would be stuffed inside the dough.

Best service staff, MioBest Japanese food in Dubai

Over all experience is good like the staff are very friendly and easy to approach if you need something, plus the ambiance is relaxing. Didnt tried other menus but it is not quite recommended if your craving for ramen. The noodles is just the normal one as if your just eating the normal noodles that you can buy from the supermarket or maybe its the japanese style of ramen anyway, but I have tried several ramen from different places but for me I will not highly recommend this. Experience is good though.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurant in Dubai. Why? First, its an authentic Japanese restaurant with all the traditional welcoming and the 5* service. Second, the food is fresh and tasty. I founded for the sashimis because theyre cut with perfection from what it appears a perfectly selected piece. Thats what really make the difference in existing Japanese restaurants in Dubai.Third, its an absolute necessity to try the desserts.Wish then add more Makis in their menu and have more sushis/sashimis/makis combos available. Prices are ok for the food quality and the service.

We liked the sushi and sashimi variety here much more than Bentoya and Miyabi (although Miyabi’s Monday deal is still the best priced sushi in town!). Nice staff include several Japanese individuals. Best thing on the menu is the Japanese cheesecake. Best one in town!

Food was average, service was horrible. Decided to give it a try with a friend. My food was served 30 minutes after his food was served , his starter and main course were served together. I had ordered a cold salad and a maki roll only. Complained to the manager, she said the food will need another 15 minutes and walked away. No corrective action was done.
