One of the best Japanese restaurants I have been to especially being a pure vegetarian. The food was amazingly delicious and worth every penny and wonderful hospitality. Definitely gonna visit again and again to suffice my japanese cravings!

Great food, drinks, shisha.. friendly and accommodating staff…i normally ordered dessert for delivery which is so so good,i really loved all the sweets here 😍😋😍 then suddenly we decided to eat out and it was an amazing experienced, we did’nt expect…then we came back the next day with friends 😂 now it will be added to one of our fav place to hang out 🤗🤗🤗

Very enjoyable, great design, great selection of Japanese food that wasnt just sushi and Ramen, the cafe was very enjoyable as well loved the Cheezy Taro great mix of flavors and textures, and the Kuma Cheesecake was so cute and again, two different levels of cheese in the Cheesecake was so yum. Everyone was very friendly - bit of advice, if you want the Melon Pan get there earlier in the day, was a bit sad to miss out on this favorite. Enjoy!

The unique atmosphere of coziness and Japanese unhurriedness is conducive to catch up with friends. The dishes are deliciously prepared and served. Large selection of fruit cocktails. Excellent location in one of the most popular Mall in Dubai.

What I can say - good food, great staff, fast delivery. One of my favorite spots in Dubai. Such a gem.

This was my first visit in 2021 after several visits for the past 3 years. The place still cozy and the staffs were super friendly. During this pandemic they cut the seat availability to half, so you can expect a little wait during favourite hours, but hey.. its for your own health protection. Unfortunately I have to reduce my 4-star rating to 3-star based on the food quality. Although most of the presentation of the dishes were great and apetizing, somehow I missed the unique Japanese taste in them. The ramen now tasted more like regular Chinese fried noodle. The salmon don tasted okay but I had a hard time finding the chunks of salmons, apparently they are much smaller in reality than those pictured in the menu. But I have to commend the delicious Miso soup that served in perfect temperature and still in original taste. I would give 3.5 star but theres no option for that, so until the taste is back to more Japanese than generic Asian, I will keep 3-star rating. Anyway, if you dont care about original Japanese taste or just looking for nice Sisha place, this Yakitate should be good for you.

Loved it. Great service and food. I guess I found one of my favorite spots in dubai. It reminds me a lot of the cafes and bakeries in Japan. I ordered the shrimp black burger, pistachio chocolate dessert and radiant skin juice. All were good. The dessert was a bit on the heavy side but it was tasty.The burger was super soft and tasted good. The juice was my favorite part. I loved how the service was super fast and you don’t wait much. I’ll come back for sure with friends to try other items.

Good service accompanied with excellent presentation on all dish + deliciousness.They observed social distancing and took care of my order quite fast. It’s a modern Japanese cuisine.Should have been a 5- ⭐️ , but their credit card machine was not working and had to pay cash at the end of our meal. We didn’t know coming in.

Ramen, milk tea and shisha.. all my favorite things. :) the ramen had good broth. Milk tea was decent.

Their menu is big and has a lot of eye-catching, yummy stuff. Took me such a long time to choose 🙂. Their desserts are also so delicious. The portions are very filling and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely go there again

Exciting Japanese restaurant offering simple traditional and modern creations in a cosy environment.Amongst the creative menu thats sure to have something for just about everyone, theres breakfast and lunch deals, bubble tea and even an extensive bakery section offering a good variety of Japanese-style desserts, sweets and takeaway treats that you shouldnt miss.Food quality is pretty good, some dishes and flavours are good and others miss the mark a bit for Japanese cuisine, but prices are reasonable and you can dine in, takeaway and theres even delivery available.

Located near Gate. There are open terrace table. Interior is modern. Stuff are well kind.We ordered Chicken Katsu Don and Ebi Katsu Noodle Burger.Chicken Katsu Don:Delucious it was. But, chikcken katsu was too thin. This is why I could not give 5 star.Side dish Miso soup is super nice.Same quality as Japan.Ebi Katsu Noodle Burger:Something new taste for me.Noodle and fried shrimp. It must be taste good as you can imagine.If you fo not like smells smoke when you eating, I recommend you to seat inside. Outside table are for smoking.

Not sure if this is because of the Covid-19 but the variety of bread has been significantly reduced! Hoping the line ups will reexpand in near future. However the honey vanilla Mille crepes just tastes awesome!

Better than most 5 star Japanese restaurants who target your vanity with prices that tend to make sure you leave their restaurant with an empty wallet 😂

I love everything in yakitate — the food, drinks, the staff. The place is just small and can get crowded sometimes (the tables were a little too close to each other). I love the smoked salmon avocado abd volcano maki.I used to go to yakitate al rigga even if it’s quite far from my place. Good thing they now have a branch in Ibn Battuta Mall which is closer to me. 🖤

Great staff but very mediocre food. Extremely disappointing. Their only gimick is that they are a Japanese restaurant, besides that the food is not authentic and quite lacking in quality. Fried chicken was as if it was microwaved and they dont offer a basic ramen menu, only specials, stating that the menu differs from each of their branches. Not worth the price. On the plus side, they do serve one of the best bubble tea in Dubai. That itself is a +1 star, otherwise 2 stars.

The staff were nice and friendly. The food presentation was great and very unique. I have tried the sushi burger and it was by far the best choice I had for the past 4 visits I made to this restaurant. It is worth a try! Will always come here every time I will crave for Japanese food.

I went to this place after almost 2.5 years with high anticipation as my previous experience was superb. Unfortunately this was such a huge let down the waiters and staff were friendly and helpful but the food was just not worth it. Since both of us were vegetarians they suggested shitake seaweed onigiri.. fried mushroom balls. The oil they fried in it was definitely not fresh. Looked like what one would get at a road side stall in India (pakodas).The veg sushi was decent but had more rice then required and the ginger they gave with the wasabi was not at all fresh. I had a teriyaki chicken salad with pineapple without the chicken. This was good. I forgot what my colleague had for main course but he did not finish it as he did not enjoy the food. I had passion iced tea which was perfect and my colleague had a pineapple ginger honey which I tasted and liked. A big big let down. I do hope they raise the standards. Ginger not being fresh in a Japanese restaurant ... Sacrilegious!

Japanese Cafe Extraordinaire!!!!! Trendy , affordable( breakfast ranging from dhs 30-38 , pastries from dhs 9 to 15) , coffee bar, great service, convenient location at the entrance to the mall, fantastic presentation, TASTY, generous portion size and just different to other Japanese offerings in Dubai . Can you tell my mind was blown!I recommend the egg white breakfast , fluffy cheesecake , avocado and salmon with egg special and the mango salad with prawns. Creativity to its best: be it the taste of the food, the look or the ambience of this unique eatery!🌸They have 2 branches : one in Ibn Batutta Mall and the second one in Al Ghurair Mall. The only difference is that the one in Al Ghurair Mall has got an outdoor sitting area either.Try their sushi burgers, pasties and the Japanese Coffee, they will bring the glass pot to the table and make it right there in front of you. You will enjoy the procedure 😍I am a regular customer and highly recommending y’all :)

A quaint lil bakery with too cute food. Their signature one Japanese cheese soufflé was on point in fluffiness and softness. Ask them for some honey and go for it. The cute cakes taste amazing too and definitely a Yay for instagram post!!

Ive been to a lot of different places in Dubai, and I thought there is nothing that can surprise me in terms of Japanese cuisine. But Yakitate in Ibn Batuta somehow proved me wrong. Great service, decent choice of dishes, and a specially dedicated area to smoke shisha. I strongly recommend trying flying noodles and all options of bentos they have. If you are a sweet tooth, youll love this place even more.

They offer all Japanese bakery and famous delicious Japanese cheesecake ,Rice based sweets and colored tasty bakery ,They also have Japanese food offering variety of sushi noodles and Japanese style burgers ,They have smoking area where they offer Shisha ,Lunch offer starts with 38 dirhams ,Although its small portions for lunch ,Very friendly staff,Located in Ibn Batuota mall

One of the best Japanese food ever! I love Yakitate. I recommend to try the green dragon, beef ramen, chicken gyoza, ebi dynamite and lemon mint frizzante and of course their cheesecakes or other sweets (these are my faves btw). I love how they prepare the food and very unique presentation. The Ibn Batutta branch has a great staffs.. very friendly and approachable.

Usually the service is quick and friendly. Today I sat waiting to take the order. No one turned up for 10 mins. I left. Looks like the service is dead without the Srilankan Guy who is extremely fast and courteous.

I went at battuta branch few days back, just to have some drinks to go, very happy with quick service to think that the guy in gray suit is alone amazing because he took order infront and run to drink area to make it for me. How i wish to visit this shop again in near future and see him. Give 5 star for my drink and best service.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kindly ask your staff to take care of customers. No one come to us and help us to order. We seat there almost 20 minutes. Then we left without ordering any thing.

Their sushi was average but the drinks were truly delicious! I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with some flan (custard) as that was recommended by the waitress. Oh was it worthwhile. Absolutely delicious!

Plus fresh juice and my coffee love it.I only wonder why staff is only 2 person and seems like the tall guy is new because his still slow but trying his best to help the filipino guy there. Really you will just laugh (in good way) when you see his moving. he is only walking but very fast walk to go and take things for respective table.👏Serving of food is take a while but its acceptable if you have Good understanding and consideration.Not excellent service but its morethan Good Service. Me and my family ordered a couple of bread and noodles with coffee it took the an hour to serve everything!!!!!! Thats with 3 follow-ups.

Very bad experience specially in the morning first of all coffee shop opening 10 am any way its your organisation but when we enter no greet no response more the 20 minutes we ate sitting but the morning shift incharge he dont look at us and he dont response after we left by the we are daily customer.

Spent more that 40 minutes waiting for food and they served our food to another customer and did not even apologise. Will never go there again . Better service from the food court

Absolutely love this place! From sushi burgers, to Japanese breakfasts, this place is a hidden gem. The fresh bakery items are lush, especially the chiffon mokha cakes.

Well, one of the worst Asia food experiences in Dubai. First of all ordering online via eateasy.ae was simple, but somehow confusing-I ordered Mango bubble tea which was in category bubble tea and was named simply as Mango. What I received was some Mango juice (not freshly squeezed though due to the watery/sugary taste). I called them and asked for a replacement - or simply to get the one I initially ordered. Their own manager wasnt willing to correct the mistake, but in stead was offering to send me the right beverage the next time I order from.them... no comment on this one, but lets call it - it wasnt at all a professional move. Anyway, at the end I did get the bubble tea (which was definitely not made with real tapioca pearls since those tasted more like chunks of black bread...). The food - out of 3 main dishes I was the only one willing to eat part of my food. My glass noodles were having a strange square shape (not the shape of the box) which makes me think they are maybe soaking those in boiling water seconds before they replace the food to the delivery container... much like instant noodles.The packaging was wonderful and that was the only positive thing of the whole encounter.

Attentive staff who know their vast menu well, and provide good recommendations, on what to eatfood is simple, and quite filling. would not recommend fish items (as they dont seem to specialize in that kind of cuisine). have to give it a three-of-five, as food was a bit salty, and rich, for my tastepleased about the overall experience

I ordered miso soup, gyoza, and miso beef cream curry at 12:14 pm, order was given to driver at 1:43 pm. 1 hr 29 minutes just to prepare the dish....wondering if the chef went to the farm to get the bull for slaughter himself 😩😩😩. Whats worse, ive had better Gyoza numerous times from other restaurants. At least the miso beef was a new taste but wasnt creamy really. Very dissapointed. 👎👎👎
