One of the new comers to the cafe style culinary scene in old Dubai, friendly staff. Food quantities are generous but nothing to rave about. Mojtaba, the chef was kind enough to offer us khoresh e qeymeh bademjan and ghormeh to sample at the end of our which was fresh and delicious.

So I booked a place for my family to celebrate. It was a small birthday party and every thing went smooth. The staff was cooperative at the time of booking and offered me discount as well. On the day, the service was very slow even though the restaurant was literally empty but we managed.Surprise started once we were done with food and I requested for the bill, they came up with some absurd table charges for sitting in family hall of AED 300/- (just to clarify we were not sitting in any special room, it was a family hall and the special room was occupied by someone else). On top of that, I ordered mixed grill for 4 that was for AED 210, they charged me AED 299 instead for some other type of grill listed in the menu. The waitress told us at time of ordering that hummus and salad is included in the grill and yet I was charged for it on top of AED 299.It is the moment that you are expected to save yourself from embarrassment and so the staff seemed well trained for this situation as they never called the waitress serving us to confirm even a single thing. They said it is to be discussed with the manager for your booking and not the staff that took order, so I decided to act firm as they would have done this with others for sure.The Manager- Ali - who acted super cooperative at the time of booking (sending me videos on WhatsApp and even offering me a discount) completely changed at this moment. Instead of rectifying his mistake, he started taunting me on the call by going to the extent of saying why did you come to my restaurant when you dont have money. THE GUTS!!He said these charges were all mentioned to you. I have all our conversations on WhatsApp and he never mentioned any such charges. After all the arguments that made my guests wait for 30-40 mins after food, they adjusted the bill from AED 1008 to AED 690 and then again AED 579/- Mind it that this was still higher than the actual bill but I didnt want to waste more time as we had plans ahead.In short, save yourself embarrassment, a lot of good Iranian restaurants are available in town. Please choose someone who doesnt taunt you, doesnt have ZERO customer service and horrible communication skills.PS: The discount you can see on the bill is for complimentary drinks that they offer to kids.

A relaxed atmosphere where authentic Persian food is served compounded with a real hokka serving! Value for money is high!
