In one word I should say its a calm and quiet place for everyone.First of all I should thank the respective authorities to build a place like this. The nicest thing about this place is that we can reach easily there by the various transportation systems available here. Its located nearer to Al Ghubaiba water transport area. We can reach there by using metro or by bus, Only a walkable distance from there. From Deira we can get the place by took the Abra (Water transport). There is a walk area for people of that on side there is a water canal on other side there are a many buildings that gives us the heritage looks. Its a calm and quite place with beautiful breezy winds. We can walk through the path, we can take a rest by sitting on the chairs placed near the banks of the canal. unlike the other water front area there is no more bad smell are there in this place. The only problem i felt was unavailability of getting any refreshments near the place. The overall the place is good for all kind of people, who needs calm environment and place to sit with our partner. So go and visit today it self. Have a nice day. Cheers !!!
Deira Clocktower (Arabic: دوار الساعة ديرة), originally referred to as the Dubai Clocktower, is a roundabout in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Clocktower is located in eastern Dubai in Deira, at the intersection of Umm Hurrair Road and route D 89 (Al Maktoum Road). Situated in the locality of Al Rigga, the Deira Clocktower, now a prominent monument in Deira, provides access to the Al Maktoum Bridge, the first land crossing constructed between Deira and Bur Dubai. The Dubai clock tower was built in 1965 and was designed by Architect Ziki Homsi,[1][2][3] a partner at Architecture Design Construction (ADC) Office. Also ADC was the builder of the clocktower in 1965.The Clocktower was erected as a symbol of Dubai and located in Deira because major routes into Dubai converged prior to the building of Dubai - Abu Dhabi Road. The Deira Clock Tower can be reached by Dubai Metro. The nearest metro station is Al-Rigga on the Red Line. The area around Deira clock tower is very important commercially, and includes the offices of major international airlines operating in UAE.The Telegraph newspaper listed Dubai Clock Tower among the 17 most beautiful clock towers around the world
