They will reject most (if not all) of your claims. If you are lucky to get an approval it might take time. In my opinion, their customer service representatives are not professional. They can be rude and if you ask to speak to a manager they will just refuse and say they will tell you the same thing. There is always an excuse to not approve your claims.I really do not recommend this insurance company in its current situation at all.Oh by the way I have the fancy silver premium package

#7240493 was rejected under the reason of pre existing condition. If I know what my condition was, I would have visited a clinic and declared it. It looks like a pimple which is natural and it could go away on its own. However, after waiting for about a month, it remained there. I am not a doctor to examine and identify such symptoms. Therefore, I visited the clinic and the doctor mentioned it is Warts that need to be burned. The procedure costs AED600. If I was trying to play smart, I could have just paid for it myself instead of AED2,000+ for this insurance. Or, I could have told the doctor this appeared two days ago. Since it appeared as a pimple, how should I know it was a wart to be declared? I did not visit a doctor back then to examine a pimple. I do not have any records of it. I will be collecting copies of all the doctor reports and communication between myself and Mednet insurance. AED600 is a small amount which I can pay easily from my pocket but I wont do that. My insurance which I paid for should be covering the cost. Especially after making me wait from 18th September to 22nd September 2021 to mention rejected. Not to mention the several attempts. Wasting my time and the doctors time to a point where I had to reschedule the appointment. I have to wait another week! My parent is a Director in the Ministry of Health (MOH), Ill be informing DHA seniors if this issue is not resolved within the next 3-days.

Poor management, Poor partnerships resellers.I will highly recommend never ever purchase any insurance from MedNet. You will waste your quality time and they will revert you with poor answers.Even if you want to buy a new health insurance plan from them, They will give you a long list of terms and conditions and after all those terms and conditions you will select its better to go without Health insurance. They are top wasters and money eaters only.Do no buy at least health insurance from them in UAE. Their plans are only for business not for health services. MedNet has a very bad insurance service, you pay for the best service and quality and you get rejected authorizations under the reason of pre-existing conditions! I would never renew again with them! I paid lots of money to get the silver premium and they reject most of the authorizations! I wouldnt have signed with you if I WILL BE PAYING MYSELF. Im paying everything double now!NOT RECOMMENDED.

Hala Ali and Sarah Al Nafoosi are handling my complains and are not doing their job correctly. They stopped answering emails when they see that they have made a mistake. They would do anything not to pay you back.UNPROFESSIONAL insurance and staff.Do not recommend. If you are looking for an insurancem you should consider Allianz they are WAY BETTER.

If there was an award for the worst insurance ever, I think this is it. We reached the bottom, nothing worse than this. Even basic lab tests will require approval that can take 10 or 14 days !!! Who will take the responsibility if something happens to the patients!!!!!! Our health and families are very important to us, if you can’t provide a good service you better shutdown. I really fee sorry for my wife, I should have searched for better insurance options.Just an update, I spoke to the toll number of the insurance company, you know what they said ? I can’t see the updates the system is down !!! Same lies, the lady told me the last update received from the doctor as a reply for the “additional information that is required “ was sent on 12 June, I spoke to the hospital and they said the information was sent on 12, 13,14,15 and the insurance company still delaying!!!!! I will submit a complaint to DHA. This is UAE not banana republic. You can’t do this in UAE 🇦🇪

Call center is an nightmare. You wait a minimum of 1hr. When the employee answers, they close the phone a minute in when you explain your issue and they dont know what to do. Even k in emergencies theres no way to get any support.

I chose to go with MedNet.... this was the worst decision i ever made honestly run away from them there’s a lot of insurance company away better then MedNet, poor customer service, poor approval department they don’t care about you they only focusing on finding a away to not to take your responsibility....i was under NextCare before and I’m regretting leaving them even Alco is a way better then them. Unfortunately with complete utter dismay, I wont be recommending MEDNET to anyone who is a novice and confused with what insurance provider to select here in the UAE.When you enter into a contract with a provider the real test comes when there is a real medical need and only then are you exposed to the duration of their approval process, competency of staffs integrity and their empathy skills.Unfortunately I was diagnosed with a medical disorder which left me unable to walk due to a severe swelling on my knee. After visiting the doctor and running initial tests, I was advised to start on immediate medication to reduce the inflammation on my leg in order for me to resume mobility and pain. For me this was a first, as I have never had any joint ailments in the past. So I hand in my prescription at the approved pharmacy around 6.50 pm on a Thursday evening. I am told to wait for approval.Both myself and the pharmacist who noted I was in pain and barely able to stand tried to contact Mednet several times and no one answered the phone, we finally got through after 40 minutes only to be told that the insurance company has rejected my claim it will be reevaluated after a form is completed by the doctor. I managed to return to the clinic and catch the doctor before he left for the weekend at 8.00 pm. The doctor completed the form and I returned to the pharmacy to submit.In the meantime I was in touch with several agents including an agent named: Ren via their mobile app. After the confusion of not receiving the completed report and later receiving it I was assured that it would be given priority after I told them I am in extreme pain and just want to go home with my medication. Ren told me it would take anywhere between 10-15 minutes for approval.I made more than 10 attempts to get in touch with them during the last hour before the pharmacy closed at 9 pm for the evening, the pharmacist too tried many times to call and no one answered their phones. So much for their toll free number, that youll be lucky when they answer. The pharmacist told me frankly that this is the worst insurance company to deal with and guaranteed you will not get your approval tonight their minimum approval process after submitting the medical report is 24 hrs. Now this made me panic, I was already in pain, I tried in vain to explain my situation to Ren again during another chat on the app, I also told him the pharmacy will close for the weekend at 9 pm and wont reopen before Saturday after initially telling me that they have escalated the matter to their so called, medical officer.As the clock ticked away, and I made other attempts to know the status ion my request, Ren then completely started to ghost me and didnt bother replying to any of my further pleas for help.The pharmacy staff got me a chair and offered me water, and waited with me past their closing time until 9:20 pm trying in vain to contact the insurance company in my presence but no one bothered to answer their phones.Moral of the story - I was extremely unwell, in pain and alone. I never got my medicine last night thanks to this so called MEDNET insurance company whom I thought were credible and the pharmacy closed.Save yourself future tears and do not sign up with them, there are many others on the market who need the business and will genuinely care to your needs when your in need.

DONT GET THIS INSURANCE. Worst insurance Ive ever had in the UAE. They keep rejecting any authorization or claims for many times hoping that you will give up and forget about it. There is ZERO health care, its pure business and way to make money for them. My doctor advised an urgent surgery for my and they rejected it 4 or 5 times without being considerate of my medical condition and the complications that happened due to the delay. This is not the first time they do this for me. They did the same cheap technique and rejected an MRI request for 5 times even though its covered in my policy. Not recommended, I got it through insurancemsrket.ae, its frustrating to deal with mednet. They offer lots of benefits but you wont get any thats including treatments and medicine too (the excuse will be: its not covered) and it will take them a while to approve any medication, so you will end up buying it to treat yourself. Dont trust them or count on them. They will do the impossible to reject requests and they will stall to waist time so you will give up and end up buying it.My advice is to check other companies first and read the reviews. There are plenty in the market. But honestly, dont even bother calling them. They will just take your money and you will get nothing back.

Doesnt deserve any star...there should be a zero or a negative rating for this insurance provider...after paying close to AED. 30K per Annum for my family insurance, rejected claims of higher value at multiple times...that too of emergency nature...i decided not to leave this time, after rejection of a recent emergency dental treatment for my wife...they said, my terms were revised or changed during renewal - which they never communicated until this claim was raised...now when i decided to fight, they are asking clarification for classifying the incident as emergency...its pending more than a month, even after necessary reports were submitted from clinic....its nothing but cheating....last year an emergency D&C procedure claim for my wife was also rejected by MedNet...

The worst possible insurance company that you could ever go for. They have spent 4 weeks to process something as simple as a cyst removal, and it is still pending for them with promises that I will be given a call back the next day with absolutely no update as I have to follow up every time to be given some nonsensical reason for a delay from their side. Even my doctors were like this is nonsensical as the approval for something like this does not take more than a week maximum and if the insurance company is subpar. My advice to anyone who wants to pay loads of money for a premium insurance is to never ever go for this one. Stay as far away from this company and their incompetency as possible. I am trying to cancel and get a refund so I can get my insurance from somewhere else.

I had this insurance last year 2018-2019 and they were ok, the company would approve services with some difficulties but eventually we would get the care we needed, I renewed for the next year 2019-2020 and it has just been a nightmare! They are not approving anything, even basic services, I ask to speak to managers on the phone & I am informed I will be called back in 30 minutes (it has been 7 days & I am still waiting for a callback from a manager called Mark). I have been hours on the phone trying to just get for example Physiotherapy (which my insurance clearly covers). I will not be renewing for the following year. It should not be this hard when you pay a lot of money for the insurance.

I am also facing same problem as others. Rejecting even simple tests for the kids. Most of the hospitals in their network list doesnt recognize them and when we submit our claim, MEDNET makes all possible deductions even for hospitals mentioned in their network list. Insane!!!

First of all I dont even want to give even one star to people. My husband is having a insurance from mednet which is silk road which has much benefits compared to basic insurance and also cost is more than 2 times of basic insurance. The First time my husband visited doctor they did not approve the prescription because they did not know patient history and they requested a medical form. Second time he visited was 4 days back they requested medical form again because it was new condition, after submission of form they aproved medicine and few testes were done. Now once test report has arrived and they can see each and every details in report based on report the doctor has prescribed new medicine and they are not ready to approve they need doctor to fill a new medical form. Each time u consult a doctor they need doctor to fill medical form. The pharmacist and doctors are so irritated just because of the requirements. They even say the basic medicines are not getting approved its been more than 2 days we need to call them again and again and check for status and still the customer service people are so arrogant they are fed up with customer complaints and they just give so many excuses to prove that the mistake is from doctor bcz there is no required details they infact give stupid excuses. We have paid Aed 1700 for the insurance but every time we have pay for the prescribed medicine there was no benefits from the insurance. They fool people with the benefits before u buy the insurance once u buy them they do not approve anything. Please do not trust them they are just here to make money and cheat people. Please use diffrent insurance there are many diffrent insurance who provide good benefits in basic plan.

Ive been battling with this company for a few weeks now to approve an MRI for my back. Customer service people have tried to help, but it is the doctors at mednet that have been disgraceful and appalling by constantly rejecting the claim. There is no pre existing condition and absolutely no reason to keep rejecting it, but they do it anyway and keep saying that they are waiting for a few reports from the hospital, even though the hospital has repeatedly told me that they have given them everything. Went to the pharmacy last Friday and hand over my prescription to the pharmacist while telling them Ill be back to collect it. Few minutes later I was surprised to received an SMS that my medicine was approved in seconds only. So I hurriedly went back to collect it. It was indeed an awesome service!

Very very very................very BAD insurance company, only take your money and always make you wait for the long time approval process. I called them 4 times for approval, and evry time ask me same stupid question which i had replied multiple times. If you choose this insurance, you will regret!

By far the worst insurance company! Do not make a mistake and insure any of you family/company with them!Will not renew with them and working currently on having my company also not renewing with them. I am pregnant and they have rejected every single mandatory regular tests needed, most of my medicine I have paid myself!

Worst ever! Im on MedNet Salam Sliver Premium plan, and it is horrible! They keep rejecting medicines and when the hospital tries to call them, they dont respond, and most of lab tests are not included. I pay around 7.5k+ yearly and still paying almost 200-300 AED every Dr. visit.I used to be on RSA - Now Health and it was much much better.

Worst experience with Mednet, whatever you claim they just reject right away,The clinic where am consulting my child stopped accepting this insurance in 2019 (reckon due to outstanding payments to them) and I had to pay myself for a common cold and that charges also they are rejecting , Dont even deserve a starWill not recommend to anyone this insurance
