This is a beautiful historical replica of a market villa. You enter into the decorative courtyard where you will have your breakfast. The rooms are furnished with old hardwood. Breakfast is simple but tasty. Staff are friendly. The guesthouse is part of a larger historic complex with cafes and art shops.

Away from the jazzz of hotels ,this place is perfect to enjoy your time near the heritage. Its beautiful... more than you can imagine.. my pictures will do only a little justice.. take your family and enjoy your time. The restaurant next to the property adds up , with the mouthwatering menu.

Wonderful.The ambience is simply delightful, true old town venue. Opening your door straight out to the courtyard for breakfast gives a quaint, homely feel.The staff and their local knowledge is invaluable. Always polite and courteous.Stay here for the experience.

It was recommended by a close friend and we were looking forward to staying there. We liked the interior of the room, very unique. Location is also not bad. However, negative points outexceeded! The cleaning person forgot a dirty cleaning towel in the room. We requested saute mushroom for breakfast, but on that day, we were told that it was not available although indeed it was! (We found out through other employees...) Instead of mushroom they gave us saute tomato. It was for two people and yet she gave me just one slice!!!! Breakfast is a joke. I would never return to this accommodation for this.

Very dusty rooms. Porch and sit-out was un-usable because of dust filled seats. No customers at cafe/restaurant, expensive food as well. Reception staff not so friendly (guy). Lady reception staff was welcoming.

It is a lovely little historic hotel and we love it but our Room this time wasnt as good as our last 3 previous stays - I do still recommend it as very cute & cosy with lovely courtyards & top roof deck. Plus the position in Bastikya is fabulous. Also, the breakfast was a bit disappointing too

This little hotel in old Dubai is a very nice place to stay when you want some rest after a day spending in this great city. The staff is kind and always helpful when you have any question. You can walk to the nearest metro station in about 5 minutes. The nearest bus station is also a 5 minutes walk from here. You can walk to the Greek in about 2 minutes and view the abras on the water bringing the people from one side to the other. In the neighbourhood you can find several little restaurants for any good food and the souks where you can buy clothing, herbs jewellerys and other souvenirs.

Orient Guest House is located between the Alserkal Cultural Foundation and the Arabia Tea House.

I was so glad that I stumbled on this place and spent two nights here. This is a chic, old-Dubai style guest house that is a stone throws from the Dubai Museum and the Textile Souk. It is located in the Al Fahidi Historic District. I had no regrets at all booking the place. Hot showers and working air-conditioning, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was buffet style and more than sufficient. The price - it was a very good deal - well worth the money. To top it off, the staff were excellent and very accomodating to my requests. My friend and I came in at 5am and they accomodated us in the Majlis (a room for us to rest) and even agreed to change my friends breakfast to the first day (he was departing on teh same day we came). He entertained my many other queries as well and was so very patient - thank you so much Patric! The lady at the reception (Lorena) was also great and very helpful! The hotel has no gym and pool but you can head over to their parent hotel the Arabian Courtyard Hotel (5-10 mins walk away) where you can use their facilities free of charge. I would not hesitate to stay at the Orient Guest House again if I return to Dubai and I highly recommend this place to anyone who want to explore a different side of Dubai.

Lovely but service touch and go. Our room was downgraded because local arrived and wanted family room. 4 of us had to sleep.in SMALL double bed.

This is an amazing place. You live in a museum. In fact, the hotel is located in the historical center, among museums and galleries. This accommodation is not even worth a star. The image of the bathroom is simply wrong and there is definitely not a pool. The entire facility is in a very dusty and neglected condition. The breakfast also needs no mention and of villa and luxury is missing here any trace. We were very disappointed.

Nice located local hotel, room and bathroom in order, small breakfast buffet, nice shady courtyard. Butler Moses competent and very friendly. In the immediate vicinity the old historic Dubai, away from the luxury Dubai, beautiful galleries and restaurants. The Dubai Creek invites for a boat tour.
