This review is mainly about Amer service center that exists there nearby the immigration building, which, I have added to the map today, you can process all residency queries there in this office and you can luckily see the working hours I have concluded here in this review. At last, check the parking codes so you save time texting to the correct area code, check the screen shot too; parking will cost 2 dirhams per hour, if you park via text send to 7275 with plate number space zone number of hours. Hope you find my experience useful to you!Please note the screen shot for the parking is for explanation only.

Extremely dissatsfied about how internal issues are being handled by officials.An internal IT error caused a fine to be placed and they dont want to reduce claiming there is no such procedure and instead can only decrease the fine.1 month into the issue with numerous visits to various office where I am being sent aand conversations with countless officers didnt bring any result.

Comments as per my experience:1. Friendly information desk.2. Counter desks staff are busy chatting and scanning their mobile while people wait in queue.3. Counter desks staff will stare you blankly in the eye while you greet them and after you say thanks.No offence meant, just we need to call their attention for a better government service.

Nobody picks up the phone, so I have been trying to get out from office sooner to reach there before closing time to enquire status of my dependents visa.Reached at 7:40 pm. 20 mins before closing time and the Receptionist busy on his mobile watching some videos asked me to come tomorrow morning. Felt that he did this because i am a non arab expat. Felt humiliated!God bless them!

This is the Dubai immigration main office building. You can renew your Visa here and inquiry about your stay permit and much more.The staff is very helpful and hard-working. You will get all what you need from information to the process of your Visa .If you are local you can renew your passport here.This location is very convenient because parking is big, bus stop is near the building, taxi stop as well and the metro station is just outside the building.Typing shops available here ( too many).Restaurants and cafe and ice cream shop is inside the building.ATM machine is also available here and you can use any payment method you want.There are lot of different staff and different language, so dont worry about communication they will speak your language and you will be taken care of.I wish you all the best and have a great time here.

My son is on employment visa his company cancel his visa with out stamping the visa i check by self his visa status showing that visa has been cancel but they didnt give him any cancellation papers they give him only one paper that is entry permit and stamped with cancelled from immigration.i ask for cancellation papers PRO told me that his visa was not stamped he can leave the country just show the entry permit with immigration stamp please help me regarding this issue i dont want any problem at air port for him at the time of exit.Kindly advisekindly advise

Great Location, right next to Al Jafiliya Metro Station, bad customer services.I have visited this Office multiple times. In my opinion, the Emirati ladies in Ameer need improvement. I always stumbled to their Counter. All same attitude. One lady was too busy with her phone and i have to wait for her. Their knowledge about their job is limited, no customer service quality. They only know how to check from the Passport number and no clue what steps to be taken further. They seem not happy to serve the customers. I should have gone to Al Aweer Immigration ( very far ) for nothing if i follow her Instructions. My issue was able to solved at Ameer itself. Probably she doesnt know or wanted to pass me to someone else hand like a ball to clean her hand.The 2 gentleman at the Reception Desk know far better than the ladies sitting in the Counter. They are smart, kind, helpful and approachable. I double check with those guys and I saved my time and money because of them.

Had visited two times the office once for entry visa purpose for family and then for visa stamping. For both the cases I was asked to visit another branch for reasons I do not understand! It was the same GDRFA office that was mentioned on the website fpr the matters of my visit. It would be great if they clearly state on website or somewhere that for so and so reasons you do not have to come to the main office. It will save a great deal of time for the customer! While I am also in line of reviews about disregarding the individual completely when you meet and greet them.

Resident visa applications for parents and parents in law ( not so sure about other visa applications) are not being accepted here. These cases are now handled in their Festival city branch.The call centre agents do not know this updated info and still direct you to visit this centre though. Do not waste your time here for residency applications. Directly visit the Festival city branch.

Rude people at the counters !I had some issue I had to wait until my turn came and when it was my turn I went to counter the man on the counter was busy on his phone I went to him Im explaining my issue and he acts as if there is no body sitting in front of him ( racist)No body does this behaviour with his dog that I have experienced oh gosh what a disaster so these counters didnt solve my problem eacher counter sent me to one another counter until I visited another branch

Today i went with fasting and on the front desk information, they did not guide me and send me in the wrong office.when i wait around more then one hour after give me 5 second and send me other building no guidance just treat like we are Animal. Again i went to the other desk in other building then same misguidance, it seems they do not know any thing just wasting our time, In finally i went in fourth area when i got my turn he said time is over after come 2 o clock, i humble requested instead he helped me very rudely he replied i request you to come after 2 then at result 3 hours i spend over there in the office only inquiry so get nothing this is the service i got it.

Aged employees with no intention to work. did not even see my paper to check on system just asked me yes what is the problem i explained and he said sunday sunday baba go to the manager he will sign 7 to 1 he works.really very disappointed from the residency department and the process of the visa in general. no one knows the information not the useless call centre 8005111 not any one else in the whole process. 4 days i got rejection sms for each document every day stating this is missing that is missing. why couldnt they send in one sms one time once and for all for all the missing documents. bo ine even knows in the call centre where to guide and what to guide. after calling more than 10 times someone helped me some how by just informing i need ti visit the jafilia branch and that toowith wrong timing till 8 pm they work but the manager is till 1 if this information was given could have saved me a day expsense and time savings. i really wish and hope the authorities set clear rules for we not to suffer further with such kind of low class services

Ive had more than one bad experience at this place, last one was that no one was sitting at the counter where I am supposed to pick up my passport because that person went to pray (nothing wrong with that) which means people were lining up on a counter that doesnt need to have a que.I renewed my passport online, chose to pick it up there instead of waiting since I had a flight comming up soon and didnt want to rely on courier delivery times, when I went to pick up the passport they said the transaction didnt happen, and they dont know how to continue an online transaction which prompted them to direct me to a manager who was well aware that they only had to enter the transaction number for the process to happen, a process that took 10 seconds, but Ive been there for 30 minutes not knowing what to do.Another instance where the employee changed my family name without my permission in my family book, which took months to correct with the help of managers and connections since they were asking me to prove that I am from this family although it was a n employees mistake.So one thing I know is good about this place, they protect their employees so kudos.For the rest of us, we need to wait more for the place to mature more.Edit: when the person came back to the counter to give out ready passports, I was given last since I wasnt wearing traditional clothing. Discrimination? No comment.

Its really confusing, went several times there. Some of the staff are great, nice and top helpful with smile ☺, but some others are very rude dont want even to talk or just explains the steps, whatever seems to be overloaded serving huge numbers of applicants.One time i finished everything in 5 minutes, other time waited for 5 hours.

We always expect the best services from UAE government. However, some employees seems to be careless. Though most staff is friendly. Usually they are not informed. My mother residency application was rejected without sending any communication. The DLD call center told me to visit any branch. The HO residency section sent me to the visa section and there they told me to go to Al-Aweer branch , only in the morning. It is not the best experience I had with government institutions here.

I traveled three times to Dubai and had layovers several times. Both at the airport and the Hatta border crossing, the staff is incredibly du to outright rude, never making eye contact, ignoring salutations, treating you rather like an object instead of a human-being. Stamps in the passport are often barely visible and are placed on random pages. This has caused troubles for me in the past as well. It really, really does seem like they hate their jobs to the utmost. This makes reading the Directotates mission statement somewhat of a joke.

From reception to front desk staff, nobodys I met had a clear idea who can solve my problem. It started with a simple registration problem to GDRFA app. As instructed at each point, I went from Call Centre (8005111)-Section 2-Section 4-Main Reception-IT Section (1st Floor)-Section 15-Online Services Section-Section 2, round and round. The online infrastructure is much better than the personnel working with it.

Pls do not come here for family residence visa stamping as they have stopped this service here and being asked to go to any of their branch offices for stamping..I almost lost my morning 2 hours time by coming here !!!!!(Bin Sougat Centre has a External GDRFA branch office(immigration) where I received my family visa (urgent) stamping sticker on passport in few mins and also it has a Tasheel office for GDRFA service)

Forget about going to GDRFA in the afternoon at the Dubai festival city branch as closing time is up to the staff and they don’t follow scheduled working hours. Closing time for visa related jobs listed on more than one banner stand is 4pm however I arrived at 2:55pm for my visa collection and I’ve been refused to be served at the counter. An employee wearing abaya on the 4th of Jan 2018 who was left alone at the counter serving just one customer before me was shouting to the receptionist suggesting not to provide any more tokens as she was going to leave... Customer service skills shall be taught to this employee. I contacted the call center asking closing time for this particular branch and I was told again 4pm, I then explained the situation to the call center operator who told me that sometimes they stop the service one or two hours prior the closing depending to the load of customers otherwise the employee will not finish on time. Although acceptable as an explanation, I did see the same employee leaving the counter at 3pm (an hour prior the closing time) and no other customer was there in queue apart from me. It would be helpful for the customers to have an “end of service” time as well as a “closing” time posted on their banner stands, websites or provided by the call centre. This poor service strategy should be addressed to the management.

I go there only for my familys visas and residences. And its getting worse year after year.If you called 8005111 and they listed the documents you need, expect some slightly different story when you arrive.If you were denied an application, line up In front of the colonels office early morning to get it, routinely, approved. Expect some angry lieutenant to shout at the queue.Expect clerks making mistakes, costing you extra payments. Though theyre kind hearted especially the females, still they could send you back and forth several times with misinformation. Theyre better off working with company reps who know the system well.Imagine the queue in front of policemans desk who types with one finger.The physical building is ok, though gloomy. As for the typist shacks, they look like they were there since the pre-oil era. One of the shacks is half restaurant, half typing office in the same place.

I visited the GDRFA to get my Visa extension. It was very simple. I was guided by the Ladies Council to visit a Typing Centre. I paid 500 AED. It was done spontaneously online by the agent at the Typing Centre. Received confirmation of the approval by SMS and email. Initially I entered Dubai on 14th Oct by Visa on Arrival based on the eligibility for Indian passport holder with a valid US Visa for a stay of 2 weeks. Now one time extension for 2 more weeks... :)

Ok Ill describe my experience here honestly, I parked my car, went inside and took a token, no customers before me, before I set I see my number, I go to the counter, I get my daughter visa stamped in 20 seconds, with a smile, I go back to my car and Its still cold inside while temperature outside is 38, it took exactly 2 mins to stamp my daughters visa, one of the quickest transactions Ive ever did, amazing!!!

The website says the center is open only until 2:30 pm but it is actually supposed to be open until 8 pm.I went there at around 4 pm to cancel my fathers residence visa after he passed away from an illness and expected this simple task to take 15 - 20 minutes.Although the actual cancellation took only 2 minutes, I had to wait almost 2 hours before my turn came. This excessive waiting was because only half the GDFRA / DNRD counters were manned / working and the staff there were only working for 15-20 minutes at a time before taking breaks for the same amount of time for smoking / coffee or to chat to friends / other colleagues or use their mobile phones.No managers / admin staff were to be seen in their offices.The person who dealt with my application was lazy, unhelpful and rude.He initially said the visa could not be cancelled at Al Manara and brusquely asked me to go the Al Towar office with my company PRO. It was only because of his kind colleague at the next counter who heard me mention that my father had died and came over to show him how he could cancel the visa on his system that my work was done.After spending 2 hours there and watching the proceedings, it was easy to see why they stop issuing tokens / numbers at 4 pm even the office is supposed to be open until 8 pm.It is absolutely disgraceful the way some govt employees work and get away with it. In any other place they would be fired on the very first day.

Never thought such an important office could work that bad and slowly.Horrible experience.Waiting, sitting, and running from left to right and back- more than 6 hours! Never saw something unorganized and unproffesional like this.Most of the officials (and there are much to few) are very unfriendly and slow, make lots of breaks.Children not welcome i think.If you open your mouth for criticizing, youve lost, cause then they are really aggressive, rude and uncharitable.

We as a company has applied through the new system to get the token which is necessary to apply for the employee visas. Unfortunately the system is forcing us to get the token through Zajel who received the token from DNRD since 9th April and not delivered until today 16th April.Since the token is very important tool; I recommend DNRD to hand over the token directly to the company representative to guarantee their fast services instead of depending on Zajel which have horrible services and daily false promises.

I got my visa extension for 30 days here, its wasnt busy, id recommend going here as you also need to go to a typing centre (to prepare the docs) as well and theres one beside it. total cost is 920, its 500 plus admin charges etc
