While this Academys golf lessons are on the cheaper end for Dubai, you truly get what you pay for - a cheap administration and a lack of centralized scheduling. Unless you are available for a golf lesson in the middle of a working day, this Academy is not for you. The management is very smart in allowing new clients to pick and choose their initial training session as they wish, but the moment you pay for your set of golf lessons, you will literally wait for weeks on end until an available training slot opens for your next lesson.While my partner and I booked a lesson with Scott after working hours in February with no issues, we had to wait until April to book a second session for the same time. We eventually switched instructors in the hope that we could finally return to regular trainings; however 2 days before our 3rd lesson, we received a call from management saying our new instructor, Martin, will no longer be available until September.After already waiting 4 months to schedule the remaining 2 of 5 lessons, I asked for a refund, to which management was only willing to refund 1 lesson, and provide a make-up lesson for the remaining 1 lesson, which is absolutely absurd after being hung to dry for all too long.All in all, scheduling is a hot mess. Make sure that all phone conversations are also recorded in writing by email, or the Academy will do its best to take your cash and find a reason to not return it. What a disappointment.

Really love hitting them white balls around while having Marina skyline in front of me. Academy has a Par field open until 10 pm which is a good practice. Has a good cafe too in circus style with a huge screen where you can drink your beer with some food. Food? Who said food? I got hungry

Dont waste your money.The instructors dont care about you once you sign up for lessons. You have to chase them to find availability. They will give you inconvenient timeslots (e.g., morning time during a workweek), and sometimes cancel on you last minute and tell you to book another appointment after 1 month.Management doesnt care either. They can charge you for lessons you did not take. Want to complain? Good luck! You would think calling 5+ times over a period of two weeks, speaking with different people who all promise to call you back but never do, to get refund for the class that you didnt take and yet you were forced to pay for, will solve the problem. But LOL, it is much easier to write that amount off.Overall, this was a waste of money. The whole journey, from scheduling lessons to following up on extra unfair charges, was frustrating. I wish I went to another, more professional, academy.

Relaxing place for golf.

I had a few lessons with David Laird. By far the best experience with golf instructors in Dubai.He fixes your swing one step at a time making easier to understand the changes required.Highly recommended.

I played the course today with my husband, it is a beautiful course, but i lost my swing during the first two holes! I managed to get round 18 holes, but my husband suggested i have a lesson at the Academy as soon as we finished. Michael was my teacher, he was absolutely fantastic and so skilled at spotting what my swing fault was within 3 minutes of watching me swing. Thoroughly recommend Michael. Thanku!

Nice place to visit if you are into golf and stuff. It was my first time playing and personal coaches we had were very helpful. Mostly actually I cared about the field itself always wanted to run around there and sit next to the lakes.

A place with a nice view and skyline especially during sundown or evening time, when wheatear allows you to sit outside.if you are looking for something to drink and easy chill, I highly recommend it.Kids are also welcome and play area available. Too noisy during weekend (lunch / brunch) if you are a couple or group of friends looking for something less “family type”.BBQ during weekend with decent price, but poor food quality. Orders takes ages, so be patient because meals are prepared and coming from the close by Montgomerie Hotel.
