How it works:1- Drive directly into the drive through test bay, wait for them to give you a ticket and paper.2- Take ticket, leave car and walk round back to office and wait to pay. Youll need to write mobile number and email on paper they provide. Didnt really want to provide these details, but it seems required. Not sure why.3- Pay AED 170 which is now the price for light vehicle. (while theyre testing your vehicle)4- By the time youve paid, youre vehicle is hopefully passed and you can go online to continue the rest.All in all took 20 mins1 less star because of unnecessary details requirement on paper. It should all be paperless.

Well placed and fast service

Newly built, this center has got everything from zoom outlet to few fast foodchains. You can drive your car for cash wash or even get the RTA registration done. Quite spacious located in the discovery gardens, i would recommend to visit this place to jump the crowd from other centers.

Visited for testing of my car for yearly renewal test. Quick and easy service. Testing fee is 170 and if you have to a retest due to any failure, you have to pay AED 70. Better to make sure everything is fine before you go for testing.

Very fast and easy to renew your vehicle registration. Once you turn right go straight to car test queue. You will leave your car there and go inside the building. Take the ticket and wait. The renewal is 175 dhs. After you log in to your RTA pay 350 dhs and renew your license. Beware you need to pay all you fines to complete your online renewal 👆

I did my renewal online and went there to collect registration card and new design plate numbers, everything went really smooth till the moment giving the old plate numbers and putting the new one. The gentleman came outside with me and asked if I have a screw driver !!! I said no but you have inside l so he was annoyed and went inside to bring it.He removed the old ones and was about to leave but I told him you will fix the new one for me but he said no you will do it and left while I was in shock so I had to struggle for almost 20 minutes to fix.

This will be the last time I do my renewal here. No value for money.

Excellent service. Very quick verification of documents and inspection of cars. Even transfer of ownership can be done in a few minutes. Not usually crowded. There a petrol station also nearby. There are a few towing services also nearby in case you want to take the car to other emirates after transfer of ownership.

Quiet Tasjeel. A hidden gem. Dont have to really wait in a queue. In and out within 10-15 minutes.

Went there on Saturday morning, fearing to have some queuing... No queues, as soon as I came, the car got checked within 10 minutes. Super quick and efficient, drove out with renewed and freshly printed vehicle licence in 15 minutes.They also work on Fridays!

Fast service. However, I was initially turned away requesting to submit my car renewal request online (not sure why they couldnt process it at the centre as not everyone may want to do the renewal online).

Hi,Can anyone please tell me the procedure of buying an Used car from Dubai (Dubai plate) registering it in Abu Dhabi?I am planning to buy a car but most of the cars i can see in Dubai. And my visa is in Abu Dhabi so i have to register it in Abu Dhabi only .After a thorough search i found out below solutions, but still got some doubts.Option 1.Go directly (With the owner of the car) to Abu Dhabi Vehicle Testing & Registration Center and register the car under my name. This will be possible if the owner of the car agrees to travel to Abu Dhabi for registration process (Nearest center is in Al Samha Petrol Station)Option 2. (If he owner is not ready to travel to Abu Dhabi)a)Cancel Dubai plate from Tasjeel (Dubai), Take the car in recovery vehicle to Abu Dhabi Vehicle Testing & Registration Center in Al Samha and do the registration under my nameb)Cancel Dubai Registration from Tasjeel (Dubai), take an export number plate, and drive ythe car to Abu Dhabi Vehicle Testing & Registration Center then register the car under my name.Now my doubts are,1) Any vehicle inspection will be there in Tasjeel (Dubai) at the time of cancelling registration? Incase If any inspection will be there in Dubai, then that inspection pass report will be valid in Abu Dhabi?2) In both cases of option 2 (a&b), i believe i have to pay full cash to owner at the time of cancellation of Dubai plate. In that scenario, how can i understand the vehicle will get pass in Abu Dhabi?Please advice at what stage i have to pay full amount to the owner. (I have ready cash with me)3) Can we transfer the insurance to Abu Dhabi? What should be the minimum validity required for transferring insurance under my name? and which category it should be? (Comprehensive or 3rd party)4) What will be the procedures while cancelling Dubai plate from Tasjeel (Dubai). What all are the things i have to take care to avoid a cheating while taking a car from Dubai to Abu Dhabi?I heard usually we have to pay (Not the owner) for inspection. (In Abu Dhabi inspection charge is 175 AED). It doesnt fare if the owner cancel his plate and after taking the car to AUH, the car got rejected by Abu Dhabi Vehicle Testing & Registration Center. (In that case we will be taking all the expenses to repair the car)I have less mechanical knowledge and it will be not possible to hire a mechanic every time we go to check a car in Dubai (Especially travelling from Abu Dhabi)Please let me know if there is any other better options.Kindly reply so that this article will be helpful to others as well!Thanks.

There are no insurance options there. There are only Fujairah National Insurance Company and its problem is its head office is very far from Jebel Ali in Al Qusais, so any accident that requires going there for repair
