Its difficult to know where to start with AES. Their professionalism and integrity stand out a mile in an industry where true advisors are difficult to find. AES are never get rich quick merchants or that latest fad - they offer well founded advice which is both absolutely correct in theory (I hold two professional finance qualifications plus a degree in economics) but that also hold true empirically. They take genuine account of risk appetite and long term objectives and they never rush you into a decision - their investment strategies remain true whether you enter into them today, tomorrow or two years time (as I did due to me laziness and inefficiency), they are driven by well served clients, not a one week or one month or one quarter target. Also, it will probably be the same person who advises you all the way through - in an industry of high staff turnover they keep their people.Ive been bruised by this industry (despite my background - Im corporate finance rather than personal finance) and its a relief to find an advisor I can rely on year in, year out.I have moved back to the UK but I hold on to AES as my advisors as I have absolute trust in them - and this is a big decision as they are looking after a good chunk of my lifes money (not all - and they are happy with that as they agree with diversification).

Ive had some pretty bad experiences over the past 30 years with so-called financial advisers who only seemed interested in lining their own pockets. I was recommended one of Andrew Hallams books last year which was a light bulb moment(read any of his books before seeking out a financial adviser). AES were recommended so I decided to give them a try. All I can say is that its been a delight. There were some teething problems initially but they were of my own doing(changing plans at the last minute) but the advice Ive received has been clear and simple to understand-nothing was hidden. Forget the other sharks in the financial advisory sea-this is one fish you can trust.

AES are a fiduciary advisor meaning they are held accountable by law to advise you based on your interests and not theirs which is exactly what most of financial advisors do (sell you what pays a higher commission).
