This our new fave filipino buffet restaurant! Apart from delicious food they offer in the menu the service and unforgettable experience is one of the reasons why we keep on coming back. A big shout out to the very hard-working waiter JOVI he is one of the best and always smiling as well as happy to offer help and checking on every table if someine needs anything even how much he sweats. I appreciate him so much and it reminds me too on how I started as a waitress in a 5 star hotel way back 2014. I also see the success coming very soon to you JOVI you deserve a promotion! All the best with you guys also to the receptionist KATE or KAYE I appreciate your responses on whatsapp as well as your warm hospitality service. And since the birthday party of the kiddos were cancelled due to the situation of covid19 still your team are very Happy to give my kids cake to greet them belated happy birthday! This is indeed GEMS! GIVING EXTRA MILE of SERVICE! Kudos team you are all HEARTISTS! You deserve a 5 star review! We will come back again thats for sure! -- Honey Lantin Ndenje πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Location should be updated to Hapag Kainan (Howard Johnson). The first time we visited the place, we were disappointed with the approx. 45-minute waiting time. The menu was also printed in a used A4 paper with almost blurred out inks plus. They could improve it and make it a bit more presentable. The Batil Patong which we actually came there for was not in the menu. No waiter approached us and I had to ask the lady on the counter if they serve batil patong. The separate soup was also not served. We ordered chicken salted egg as appetizer. Didnt like it. It tastes more like cheese curls.Batil Patong on the other hand is one of the best pancits we have tried so far in Dubai. It is not the same as the authentic batil patong however it has its unique taste and will make you come back again.I did come back and this time, waiting time was 15 minutes and service was better.

Food quality is not bad but limited options for food. Fornthose who have food allergy dont forget to bring your pills, seem they are not really cautious with it. I didnt eat anything with seafood but I ended up itching anyways. For a 39 dirham dinner buffet during ramadan I say its not bad at all. Youll find This restaurant in flora grand hotel in rigga street Dubai.

Limited selection of food especially the chicken/beef intestines. Beef mechado was a hit for us. Menu changes weekly. Buffet for 39 for adults and 20 for kids. They will provide a free cake for birthdays and you have to notify them upon reservation but you cant bring it at home.

Dagat dagatan serves authentic Filipino dishes & such a relief to find a place like this in the heart of Deira. We went there to celebrate a friends birthday & we surely had a great time. About the food, theres a lot to choose from. The staffs are accomodating & attentive. The location is easy to find, since it is within Landmark Riqqa.

Had a buffet lunch, very limited main food dishes and variety of desserts.Friend Fish was excellent, fresh, juicy and crispy. Other dishes were average.Even the discounted price of AED 45 is not a value for money, on top of it you have to pay AED 8.5 for a small bottle of water which is annoying.

As most Filipino restaurants especially buffets, there is nothing special and noteworthy. As usual it is crammed and always full of Filipinos as well who miss their home cooking. This place does not have free WiFi and parking may be very difficult for weekends. Getting here on a rush hour weekday is hell as Al Rigga streets are not enough for the amount of vehicles coming through.

If youre looking for another kind of food - other than food from the Philippines, which I didnt try and I dont wish to Express my opinion in this regard - then this place is not for you. All the indo-pak and Arabic dishes were amiss, the taste was bland, even the cabbage salad was a disappointment if that can be possible.

Follow me on instagram:Β MenuCreeperDagat Dagatan is one of two dining options in Flora Grand. The other being the coffee shop right outside the restaurant but they only serve small bite sand sandwiches here. The restaurant was serving a Filipino buffet when I went and for the most part, the quality is about what you would expect from a Filipino buffet. Dagat isnt one of the restaurants that will openly replenish food after they have been sitting for a while, I believe food is only replenished once it is out, which explains why the food tasted stale and overcooked from sitting in the hot pans for such a long time. There were a few seafood items like shrimp noodles where the shrimp were mushy from sitting in a heated pot for an extended period of time. Blue crab was also available but as with most blue crabs, they were tiny and not worth the effort to bring the little amount of meat out of the shells, so I passed on that. There was a seafood paella which is the first time I have seen served with pieces of blue crab, in the shell with the rice, I didnt want to risk biting on broken shells, so again, skipped on that also. The rest of the dishes were pretty basic and you could probably make at home. I would say think twice before coming here, there are better and similar options in the area.
