It was a bad experience at the store as I want to buy a PlayStation 5 for my brother and went to Sony dubai mall and the salesman named lucky was very rude as I went there and asked if they had PlayStation 5 and the salesman lucky was not speaking. He was just showing actions which I did not understand and I asked him again and again then I asked him “are you a mute” and he said it’s my wish to speak or not and I said “your company pays you to speak” and he said “you are not paying” and was being more rude and saying your are not welcomed and I was really Angry and I will complain about him to Sony and rest of the staff where verygood.

I purchased a headphone which I returned the next day because of malfunction in it. They told me I had either to take another similar device or to upgrade.I wanted to upgrade and pay for better quality which were not as good as I expected itThe voice is not as loud as I wanted it. They told me I was an out of a million who likes his music loud. I asked to speak to a manager who spoke to the workers and told them they could not return it. I wont say his name here but willing if I am contacted by other managers.I had to exchange this product with something else because they dont care about the customer experience.Its really frustrating that we deal with workers who dont care about the user experience and their satisfaction.The manager is off and no on duty manager to help me .

Guys... so sad about the 70mm-200mm GM 2.8, there sale are now done... but I think you can still buy it online and other store are still offering low price...anyway...What do you think about on this offer: today its on sale, and maybe I could arrange additional discouts(ehermmm.) If you are sure to buy this lens, I will compute it for you, but if you dont... check somewhere else, (murmurs continue in different dialect while I turn my back)My thoughts are, youre the sales clerk, make an offer and Ill decide if Im going to buy it, your not the Boss big guy.... Very poor experience when I went in for after sales support. Seems like the staff is trained to discourage/school customers that bought products online.Was told Sony cannot “authenticate” if the product is real if it has not been bought from their store. Wonder how every other consumer electronics manufacturer manages to do that.Not sure if this is a reflection on Sony or the local partner but the experience has left a bad impression and probably put me off buying any Sony products.

I only have experience with sony service centre TDM.. dont know about sales... but the sales staff seem uninterested as soon as we enter the store... my experience with service centre was my 5 yr old sony alpha cam was give to TDM service centre as the cam had an issue and they called me after 7 days with estimate of price north of 1500 for mother board replacement. I decided to get the cam back and was charged aed 150.00 as service charge which i was told before hand....the good thing is i got it repaired from MK Trading in Deira, Dubai after a google search for 750 bucks...

Xperia Xperience

Love Sony products, especially the cameras as I am a pro photographer. Went in to the Dubai Mall branch to have my sensor cleaned which was perfect. Great guy dealt with that flawlessly. The problem came when looking at new cameras and contemplating an upgrade to my current field camera (A7ii). Sales staff didnt have a clue at all about basic information. I would NEVER spend 8000+ dirhams somewhere selling a product, when staff answer every question with buy the newest model because its the newest. You make the product so train your staff to know what they are selling, even to just a basic level. Shocking!

Jumbo is much better for prices

Beware of delivery service. Once you pay and agree on a delivery date, delivery service will call you and tell you the delivery date is 2 days after the agreed date. I bought a TV and asked for it to be delivered 8 days later (the day I was moving into my new apartment). I bought it early on purpose to ensure I can get it delivered on time. Jumbo Electronics (the company which owns the Sony store) called me the day before the delivery and said it would be delivered 2 days later. Spent a whole day raising complaints and asking for a refund, eventually managed to get it delivered a day late instead of 2.

Incompetent and rude staff. They have no idea what they are talking about, providing customers with incorrect information just to try to sell more.

Do not recommend. Service support not at the brand image level/expectation.

After sales service is done by Jumbo electronics. Staff are very knowledgable and helpful. Got my Sony Mirrorless cameras sensor cleaned here for free.

Some Guys do not know how to operate and have not been trained about product features, hence cannot give the expected Demo of new launches.

Bad Support.I purchased Android TV last year, before the warranty period, the TV main board has faulted. But they are not approving the warranty claim.

The staff are incompetent and extremely rude. They are not able to answer basic questions, and do not listen while you speak to them. Very unprofessional. Don’t even bother calling, they will hang up on you while you are still speaking.

I have place for an order for 65” Tv I have already given them 1 week time due to stock was not in the store. But now it’s 9th day and still no update on delivery. When follow up done then come to know that bcos some one is on leave and due to which deliveries can not happen. Really ..... people have paid for there stuff in advance and this guys are asking to hold bcos staff is on leave 🤨🤨 product is always good but this kind of service will think me again to go and visit store ?Once again complain is about service and not for product. But overall less than 1 star for Sony Boutique due to kind of operation.

Before you buy anything from Sony, you have to know that they dont have after sale support, so if you have any issues with your product they will send your device to Jumbo Electronics in Jebel Ali, if you dont know how bad Jumbo Electronics, the worst company in the country in terms of service or anything...

My Sony Xperia tablet android corrupt because of virus. Model is SGPT1131 purchased from Australia . I dont know how to refresh new android. Its totally useless now.
