I approached Eton Institute to understand their advanced Arabic curriculum and to potentially pursue private 1:1 highly technical, and customized Arabic language learning.Nick, the senior Arabic language course coordinator was an invaluable guide and advisor in helping me work with the relevant instructor in shaping my curriculum, assessing specific professional needs and creating a programme suitable to my goals. The interactive, friendly and candid approach taken in assessing individual prospect needs was refreshing and motivated me to undertake my professional advanced Arabic studies at Eton.

Highly recommend! My teacher Saad was extremely kind and professional and the private classes with him were great! I reached out to Eton a couple of weeks back to inquire about their Arabic Starter Course. Right from the get go, Ive had a really good experience. Their Learner Success Advisor, Nick reached out to me right away and provided all the requested information in a very friendly and patient way and even set me up with a trial class so I could get a better understanding of the actual course content and the instructors.I signed up for the Arabic Starter course right after the trial class and Im having a really nice experience so far. Our instructor, Ahmed has an amazing way of teaching us and keeps us all engaged. The class size is small and perfect which really helps the instructor to give 1-1 attention to all students depending on their level of learning.

I was interested in Arabic course. After I contacted for detail, sales representatives called me daily until I finally paid. After I paid, I asked to send me the material so that I can print out. The sales person who was eager to talk to me completely became unresponsive. I finally received materials one day before the class starts. So I was ignored for 1 week, and missed the opportunity to check the material in advance. For poor service, I asked for cancellation and refund. At that time, I finally found a proper sales person. She was nice and suggested I take the lesson as trial and if I still don’t like, they will refund. As I didn’t like, I asked for refund. It was in August 2020, and after 7 months, I realized the 1700 AED was not refunded. So I followed up and finally got refund. They said it was technical issue, but was it?

Our speaker earlier in our schools event is interactive and engaging with the students. I commend the speakers efforts in instructing and teaching us how sign language works as well as its engaging discussion in our online setup today. DON’t do ÖSD test with eton institute! Just save your money and nerves! The service and the way they treat their customer by getting that money is just ridiculous. It’s even more cheap or almost the same to go to another country and enroll OSD exam there.DETAILS.I got three different informations regarding an exam fee. By phone - one, on their booklets - another, and when I went there - a third one. The different was huge, almost double higher! When I asked why it’s written one information and by phone I also got one price, they simply answered my “ohhh that’s from last year”. +600 dirham for price from last year?! Anyways, I paid 1,800 dirham for express test ( regular 1,400 dirham) and was promised to get a result in 3-5 working days (regular 1 month). Ms. Jessie, head of OSD in Dubai, described obvious advantages from express test.Anyways, by the end of this story, I got my result in 2 weeks! When I wrote Ms Jessie an email after 1 week of waiting and politely asked her, where is my result and how long I should still to wait, I got absolutely unprofessional and responses, she accused me by saying she didn’t say anything about 3-5 working days, as it’s not up to them when I will get my result!!! Likely I have a written evidence on WhatsApp, where their clearly mentioned 1 week (again 5 working days). When I sent her a screenshot of our chat she didn’t give any comments and just redirect me to other department!Obviously they were lying to get extra money. Also, Ms Jessie didn’t give me information regarding my test number, which I’ve been asked in Austria! I have no idea what is that, it’s just something other OSD Center need to know. Instead of give me this information or at least explain me what is that, she was extremely rude and disrespectful to me! I just gave up, so other center had to find out what to do with in by their own.I started to claim 400 dirham (100€) which I paired extra for an express option, because they gave me inaccurate information, of course they said, they won’t paid anything. Anyways, it was the worse experience for me, any exam is already a stress, but with Eton Institut it’s just a nightmare! As I said, with that exam fee (I paid 421€) it’s better to go somewhere else, as anywhere else the cost of exam is 180/200€!!!! I already involved Dubai customer protection so hope to get any positive information soon.

Only if there was “no stars” rating...Big disappointment from ETON. English teacher Alexander is the only good element in this institute...Principles, commitment and client satisfaction seem to be relatively unimportant. You can simply have your class postponed because a low headcount (postponed twice), then when you agree on their date, they let you know you’d have to pay the amount of 30 hours class, for 20 hours class (full amount).Oh and tell me about a class that is planned to have 8 students in person during COVID. You finally end up arguing if the price you were given is for the book”s” or book, then they request you pay more for the workbook (knowing that i bought the books previously at a lower cost). Moreover ETON wanted to charge me for my 3rd class (20 hours) more than my first class (30 hours). Way to go on customer loyalty special treatment ETON!I guess i will skip my 3rd class and take it somewhere else. Thanks but no thanks this time...

The institute has dedicated class rooms for different subjects and levels, if in case any change in the room for a particular day they inform you through mail or call pre-hand. They provide weekday and weekend options as per your convenience. Their website is very informative and quick and easy to book a course online. I have registered to Japanese class in advance. I have chosen this class because the timing was convenient and the finishing date of the class would be perfect. Just before my holiday plans. On the day of the first class (approx 3 hours before the start) I received a call from Ahsan Khan saying that my class was canceled and I was moved to another ”hybrid” class where the teacher will be attending to both online and in-class students at the same time and this class will begin only in 2 weeks. This was no longer a good option for me so I informed this ”Learner Success Specialist” that I wont be attending this class since it does not fit into my plans and I wanted to study with fellow students for maximum results. So now Im still waiting for my refund because as per their policy it takes 30 business days. I find this unacceptable you just basically holding my money for more than a month and a half even though I had to cancel because you could not get enough students to join this class.

It is a decent place, and the teachers there deserve a 5-star review, but the service and reception provides zero hospitality. I was not informed about where my class would be, or what my teachers name was, nor was I told about the prices of the books(which are not included with the sign-up fee). On my first day I was searching for the reception when another student walked into the receptionists staff room, he was shouted at to leave. Maybe one of them was having a bad day but that is no way to treat a costumer or student! Despite all what I have said, there will be little interaction with the reception so it will not be much of a bother, and again the teachers there are really good from what I have experienced!

I went here for Dutch lessons and it wasnt the best. The institute is expensive considering the service they provide. The books are not official and are photocopied, some images even missing or completely black; secondly, my sibling and I paid 100dhs for the workbooks and wrote our names on 1 page and we never used it once, the management refused to take it back even though they could simply replace that sheet. Dont be fooled by their 4-star rating. The majority of the 5-star reviews that were left are most definitely fake reviews! This place should not be in business! Firstly, their website shows a variety of classes and a variety of levels that are supposedly available- but after signing up for a couple of the Arabic courses, I had to wait weeks for their class to fill up and to become available. (they need at-least 4 students to pay for the class in order for it to become available...they dont care if their service is so terrible that students leave the class...or the quality of the teaching is substantial enough to even teach the class..they just want at-least 4 students to pay to keep the class in session....if everyone drops out of the class then they still get your money regardless).Also- the morning class i originally signed up for never became available since not enough people showed interest in it, so i was left to take an evening class that absolutely did not fit my schedule. they give you the impression that there may be a possibility to where a class will be available. But since I already paid for my morning class, I had no choice but to take the evening class or lose my money!!therefore, i really advice you all not to risk your time or money with this terribly horrendous business. They are thieves!, Liars!! and very deceiving!!Save your money and look into a much better school like Berlitz!

Yeah no I wont recommend this place to do any course.Reasons below1. If you asked me in my first and second level, I wouldve given it a 5/5 and would have recommended it. Loved Eton and learning Arabic. But so much inconsistency in teachers.2. The teachers for my third, fourth and fifth level were horrible. We were patient to give another chance but there was no improvement.3. My fifth course ended up being a repeat of my fourth course because the students were a level down which I dont get.4. The book for level 3 onwards is horrible and we complained but nothing happened.5. I asked them to contact me IF they have a course which teaches me CONVERSATIONAL ARABIC. I want to speak Arabic with people not write Arabic poems.6. Inconsistency in teachers! Its always better if a language is taught by one person! Accents differ, teaching style differ!VERY HAPPY with my first two levels. Left learning Arabic altogether because of the last three.I know this is a harsh review but its the truth. You can end up getting an amazing teacher or a really bad one.All the best 😀

Ive taken Arabic for beginners trusting Eton has got proper and proven methodology in teaching languages.Im happy I took this course as I was able to learn some basics but at the same time I sort of feel disappointed with the quality and lack of methodology.Apparently the teacher is new and its her first group. I understand everyone needs to get experience and becoming an expert in any field takes time, nevertheless its a paid course and I would expect some sort of professionalism and being prepared for the classes, students questions. etc/.+ good atmosphere+ likable teacher+ various timings so you can make it up to your schedule- teachers understanding of English is rather on the poor side, wasnt able to answer/explain most of students questions.- weak English translates to poor explanation of Arabic/rules/explanations.- Eton claims they include in their programs: speaking, listening, reading & writing. First and only time we had any listening exercise was on 1st classes :)I felt like Im in 80s-90s again - sitting with the book and writing it down to the notebook.- coming late....we ran of of the time to complete the course, so in the last classes we were loaded with big amount of info, just in order to close the chapter. (loaded with big amount of info = write down the information from the book, to the white board)Overall disappointing, if you really are interested and want to learn, with this teacher you will have to do a lot of self study and seek explanation on your own. With almost 100% confidence I could say that we just followed the book. Nothing more than that. Only book. If you have some Arab friends just ask them to go through basics with you and save AED 1500 :)I still believe Eton is/might be a good institute (therefore 2 stars, instead of zero) but my bad luck to be assigned to a teacher whos got no idea about teaching.

I have an ongoing unexpected personal crisis with a sick family member – and they knew about this as it was the reason I did not write my last exam. Unfortunately, in the in the mental chaos of working and traveling I forgot to respond to the mail they sent before the course stated so they refuse to move my current course out. Apparently if I replied a day before the course stated this would not have been an issue? Anyway – I offered to pay for my next course as proof of my commitment if they would move me to the next group – but no.Eton is a cookie cutter institute that will take the short-term view on an issue instead of going for a long-term gain. The eton institute book for this course is clear and useful with a CD to play when practising dialogues.I would like to think i can make small talk when i complete the course and introduce myself with confidence and have things to say about myself etc. Ultimately you get as much fromThe course as you put in.Teachers are thoughtful hard-working and aimFor you to succeed which is motivating

Took Starter classes during Ramadan in one of the foreign languages - something Ive been wanting to do for a long time. The classes were well organised and very effective. The class size (too big) and distance to their center were slightly inconvenient, but overall a good experience. I will continue with next levels!

One of my favorite Language institutions in Dubai. When I completed one class, and I enroledl into another one, they offered me 10% off (this is not garanteed and is subject to their rules. Please contact them for more information)Staff are super friendly and helpful.I took Italian and German at a beginners level

I’ve had a bad experience with them.I’ve registered for two courses and later I’ve attended the first one which wasn’t great and it took longer time vs what they promised at the beginning. When I asked to refund the 2nd one the hassle has started and they weren’t reflecting the high level of professionalism and I’m still stuck with them and even I wasn’t allowed to meet the manager or even to know his good name!I do not think that the customer retention is important for them!.I have already shared my issue with them via their website and I’m still awaiting them to contact me !.

Arabic Starter course was great. The teacher, Reem, is really professional and great at explaining and helping memorizing alphabet and vocabulary, which was completely new to us. I will definitely be signing up for the next courses

An amazing and undoubtedly the best place to learn a new language. Everything from the teachers to the learning environment to the courses are exceptional. Only downside is expensive than the other language institutes.

Unfortunately, bad quality of learning English.I was excited and interested to learn in ETON, but the quality of the materials and education provider is quite low.additional to that, they want to charge me for certificate & letter of Attendance 52.50 AED which is really not good for me.Thank you guys.

Ive been a student for the past year and its been, not only productive and efficient but most of all, highly enjoyable. The teachers are patient and the method seems hard at first (arabic language, in my case) but, when you deconstruct it, everything becomes logic. Not super easy but then again, it is a school. And as a student, you do have to study. : )On a bureaucratic note, the staff are always helpful and available to help you make the most of your experience as an Etonian. Which I like to think I am. hahah

Terrible service unless you want to learn one of the big languages I guess. For Swedish I had to call 7 times to ask if they have A2 level for group lessons, always put me on hold or told me to call me back again with details. NEVER came back with anything so I desisted.

Although the customer service team was friendly but not really helpful. I started after an online test which wasnt accurate and when I struggled to understand during the actual course they refused to move me to another course. I ended up leaving the course and cancel any future interest in Eton.

The most unprofessional institute, they take your money and then dont care!! Horrible communication or lack of communication, impersonal responses from the management blaming KHDA and not taking a stand!! This is a rip-off. Save your money and efforts if you want to be at peace, we are stuck!!!

Eton is a good institude for Arabic. However if you alreday have a basic knowlege of Arabic and specially if you know the alphabet ( breifly if you are Iranian ) its not a good idea to learn there. They totaly teach you as fosha Arabic which is usless.I belive they should teach people the way that they speak in reallity and life not the way that write.( Quran version of Arabic ).Even most of Arabs also dont know how to use their Grammer, so whats the point of learning once you will not be able to use the same in a Arabic Country?!

Don’t fall for fake marketing. Bad service, uncaring attitude, bad organization, ignorant staff, condescending and a pure waste of time. Better go for online options guys, dont even waste your time and cash. Berlitz (JLT and Jumeirah) is another - better and efficient option. 3/4 students per class and amazing team!!!PS. In your reply to one of the reviews you said all your reviews are genuine. Sure! Genuine 1 stars all around.
