Band and music was great. The Dhal Makhni and curries were a bit bland would prefer more spice.Service for food was very slow.Staff were friendly.Amazing sisha.

The music so wonderful. We cant dance, we cant do anything or move.

Table was booked via Google. On reaching the bar, we were informed that we did not have a reservation and that they do not honour reservations booked via google. The person in charge, manager called Dipesh was aggressive, rude, did not assist with the issue and walked away while we were still talking to him. We travelled from other side of the town and spend 100 AED just to get to the bar. It’s was unprofessional and disappointing experience.

The food though good, the prices of food & alcohol are way above 5star prices for a restaurant in a 4star Hotel.A place catering to Indians at large, is a bit crowded with no respect to Covid protocols. Compared to other hotels with live bollywood music, the group entertaining is average. They surely have a lot of room for improvement. Guess the music there is blaring to overshadow their flaws.Though Im a nonsmoker, found the Shesha staff serving the patrons at the side, a bit arrogant.

Customer service was extremely dissatisfied. Shisha were very poor. Requested to change multiple times but yet they brought the same. They will bring the bill when you have some drinks although you are not leaving. This is kind of insecurity as if we will run away without paying the bill or they want us to leave early. Our guests were very disappointed with overall service of Headlines cafe..!!

Love the vibes, the food, and wonderful staff. Manju,JalalAddeen, Kathy and Nikka, very welcoming and helpful. I recommend this place for those who are into bollywood songs. The prices are reasonable and affordable. Shisha is wonderful and Aziz the shisha guy is fascinating.

Close to the al hudaiba awards building.This hotel has parking at d basement.Hopping in for a quick bite , there was an inhouse DJ playing music for some ongoing party. This place used to be a happening top notch Desi place to hang out. It used to be great fun going there when they had a good band AKS playing at this place. However upon my recent visit yesterday found out a totally OUT OF TUNE band egged on by their chaperones and that for me is a major let down.The ambience, food and liquor ( a bit overpriced ) is still great to be, but then the live music is a turn off.Guys at Headlines please fix this anomaly and get the soul back.

BEWARE!Very manipulative ! Very Pricey !We were sitting on 3 different tables as we were a big group ..the staff brought a combined bill and refused to get seperate bills. They rushed us into paying the bill by saying it was time to close and they dont have time to get us separate bills.The bill was not showed to us either for cross checking ..we were verbally asked to pay .Saving grace of the place is the live music which is wonderful but besides that the place seems to be a scam!Never going back !You just lost 12 customers !

Headlines Cafe , must say reminded me one of those weekend nights in Mumbai but at Dubai.This place is a very lively bar and restaurant in the very heart of Dubai. Its in the hotel Mercure and is kind off open till 3am. With a mix of live music and band and the in house DJ , its altogether and amazing package. You will find the maximum lit Indian crowd and for me being an India made the environment very comfortable in a foreign country. Food can try but its more fun for grabbing a drink and enjoy the music. If your a solo stag they may charge a cover entry to about 150AED which is some money. But its a must on your list if you wish to enjoy a great night life in Dubai for more of Mumabi type experience. Saturday nights more lit than Friday but doesnt matter as its kinda more crowded always. Nonetheless Mumbai is a better place to party ( mumbai bias 😉 )I would rate it a 3.5 🌟🌟🌟🌜

Headlines MercureIt’s a scamWe reached the place at 2:30 and placed an order for drinks, food and sheeshaFood was tasty but got diarrhea the next day.Since we ordered the sheesha we got it by 2:50, took a drag and the sheesha was taken few minutes later where the staff said sorry we are closing.Staff really unorganised and rude. First of all since Covid 19 there is a restriction for no of people on one table so we sat on three different tables, got a bill of 900 stated by the staff who refused to either seperate the bill per table also refused to show the bill. When asked for the bill separation she got irritated and left. End up taking above 1500 as nobody wanted discuss over money from one end to the other end.Management is involved in all the mess, not worth at all.

First time at this place, good staff interaction. Nice open place to chill out with friends. As I went on Friday night, their was band playing, speaker system was not great, like the treble, mids level was good but it lacked in bass to make the sound complete. The food was good.

I joined some friends here at 2am for drinks, and the place was like a party! Retro Bollywood music had everyone grooving and in a good mood. The service was great and prices quite affordable.

Not my kind of place..however the music is good albeit loud enough to hurt your ear drums especially if you are on the better side of 35. Live band is monotonous(been there thrice at the best of friends and family) but talented. Food is better than the cocktails which were served in depressing glasses, sheesha needs improvement. Service is impressive. Right kind of waterhole for the desi water buffalo who wants to relive his drunken undergrad nights and sway to music without fear of being judged for lack of dancing skills that desis are never taught growing up.

This is like coke studio of Dubai
