I have dealt with Al-Fares Cargo twice, first time to ship a 20 foot container from Dubai (Jebel Ali Port) to Egypt (Portsaid port) that contained spare parts for a friend and the service was very very good. Second time was to ship 2 used heavy equipment from Dubai (Jebel Ali Port) to Egypt (Alexandria Port) and the service was very good, and can’t deny that Mr. Harshad gave me a lot of support with the Sea Freight company as we have faced few issues with them during the custom clearance in Alex.

I called on Al Fares Cargo & Clearance services to send shipments door to door both to the USA and Spain. Hajer was very quick in replying with reasonably priced quotes. She organized the pickup service the same day and my shipments were on their way with online tracking. I was delivered in Barcelona the next day and in Los Angeles in 2 days. Needless to say I was impressed with the very efficient and professional service and the delivery time was incredible. I shipped my car from Dubai to Lisbon, Portugal using Al Fares Cargo with the very professional, attentive and caring Mr. Imran.Due to the pandemic I had to leave the country in a short timeframe and since selling my car wasnt an option I started my research to hire a company to ship my car.I found several companies, doing the same service as Al Fares Cargo - shipping the car inside of a container by vessel - however the customer service wasnt responsive and their prices were very high.Ive tried to find the best company, that would provide me, safety and security. Trusting someone to ship my car in the best conditions possible, at a reasonable price.I had a lot of concerns in the methods of placing the car inside of the container, and make it safe to avoid any scratches and damage throughout the long vessel journey.Money wasnt the issue, however I wasnt willing to pay a huge amount and I encountered prices similar of sending the car by plane, in other companies that provided services by vessel. I found it absurd, since the timeframe of sending a car by plane or vessel, is a huge difference, and therefore much more expensive by plane for obvious reasons.From all the companies I approached, none of them let me check their facilities prior hiring them.When I found Mr. Imran, not only he was very fast in replying, he also agreed immediately of me coming to the company facilities, where he explained me all the procedure, answered to all my questions, and guided me with all the steps I should follow (paperwork) before dropping my car.He also explained me how to bring my personal items inside of the car and how I should pack.I see myself as a car enthusiast so, for me, finding a company that I could rely my new car was extremely important.Having Mr. Imran giving me the option, to see the entire process, to drop the car myself into the Jebel Ali Port, and witnessing the entire procedure of placing the car inside of the container was very reassuring and I immediately felt I could rely on Mr. Imran services. Needed the service to return our vehicle from UAE to Oman as a result of border closure. Impressive. Process was explained fully through email and later via Whatsapp. Procedures were carried out as discussed. Was able to be in contact with the driver on a few occasions while the vehicle was in transit. Would be much more confident about using the service again.Only area for improvement might be to provide the owner with a means to track the vehicles transport on a live basis. We are asking for a personal vehicle of significant value to be moved here so being able to closely monitor its journey live would be most reassuring.

They are not helpful at all. Consultant replies in WhatsApp very slow and doesnt know anything about custom rules but tried to pretend that he is aware. The only thing which he knows give me weight etc. to make a quotation. Guys try to understand before make a shipment person needs to find out custom rules which you suppose to know.

Great service with nice and helpful staff for reasonable charges. They take good care of the shipment and they deliver on time. I found them via their website and I highly recommend them and would definitely use their services again.

Tried them for Customs’s clearance. Worst possible customer service you can get. They’ll never give you a straight answer. I ended up having to pull my documents from them and giving it to another office who was able to clear same day!! Never another business from me. And I don’t recommend them. Look at all the 1 star ratings. All share the same feedback!

Be ware! This company is only interested in your money and not the safety of your goods or returning customers. I shipped with them some furniture from dubai to jeddah. Some of my stuff arrived damaged and smelled bad. They failed to tell me that it would cost me more to receive the goods in Jeddah. They promised to ship within the week, they shipped 3 weeks later because I shased them. Even had a hard time making payment! I arrived to their offices only for them to say we cant accept visa! One of the worst companies that were dealt withI shipped home furniture from Dubai to Egypt.Most of the furniture arrived in the worst condition because it was not well wrapped in Dubai and did not disassemble any of the tables and it resulted that almost all the tables and chairs arrived and were not suitable for use.In addition to losing 4 shipments, including carpets and other household itemsUnfortunately, their response was that there would definitely be wastage in the shipping process, and this is normal!I never recommend dealing with them!God willing, a case is being filed against these fraudsters in the Dubai Court
