Frankly, I am very impressed with the quality and finish of their work. I did not know them and took their reference from the internet so initially I was a bit apprehensive but they returned my recliner Sofa Set like new and I just loved it. I had thought of throwing away my old sofa but I am I glad I got the upholstery done through them in the new off white colour as per our choice. Mr. Ahmed had to leave town due to a personal emergency before the promised delivery date but he was constantly in touch over with me over WhatsApp and delivered the Sofa on the promised date – very professional I must say. Mr. Ahmed’s behaviour, way of dealing and suggestions for interior were spot on. We even got a mattress with washable cover done through him for our day bed. I would certainly recommend them based on my experience.

Usually I am not very active in leaving feedback on the internet, but am making an exception here. I got to know about Modern Look Furniture Upholstery in April 2019 from a friend, and I reached out to them for the fabric and cushion change for my sofa (3 + 2 + 2, was bought from Home Center then around 8 years ago). I received the quote (through whatsapp) but did not proceed with the change. I followed up again in May 2020 hoping the cost would come down owing to COVID / lockdown but Ahmed remained firm in his quote (again through whatsapp). I again let it go - primary reason for this was not the cost, but the relatively ok condition of my sofa and a small child at home who could mess with the new fabric etc.In 2021, again I reached out to Ahmed for a revised quote and interestingly his price remained the same. This made me curios and I decided to visit his shop to meet him.I was very impressed with Ahmeds professionalism and knowledge. Upon learning that I was planning to shift my home within 2 weeks, he advised to wait, do the shifting and then think of the fabric selection etc as per the new home setup. To me, this was putting customer interest before his own interest and I liked it.After shifting the house, Ahmed visited us with his set of catalogues and helped us with the selection of fabric etc, to match with the home decor.The staff from Modern Look Furniture Upholstery who came to collect the sofa were also very courteous and mindful - they took just sample cushions (one of each size) and left the bulk of seat cushions / back cushions etc at home only. I was told that all new material would be used, and for sure their actions reflected this.Ahmed kept me updated of the progress regularly - delivery of fabric from supplier in Belgium, work in process pictures etc. Yesterday, 6-Jun-21 the sofas were delivered back and they look brand new. In fact, the wood part was also polished by their staff (even though this was not part of their contract). The finishing is very nice, the cushions are nice and firm (reminded me of the new cushions when this was bought from Home Center) - overall great job done, within a week or so.The price paid for this work is good value for money for anyone who has invested in a relatively expensive sofa and want to refresh the fabric / cushions after a few years. I know my sofa will now last for minimum next 3-4 years without any problem and I have effectively increased the life-time of my investment made 10 yrs back. BTW, I had considered buying a new set altogether but the sofa sets we liked ended up costing AED 9 - 14k even after discount & promotion... so, in a nutshell very happy with the whole experience. They were prompt in responding to my inquiry, he brought over the fabric the very next day for us to decide on what to go with, and came over and collected our couches the following day. With pick up and drop off free of charge, we received our couches with just 6 days. We wanted covers for numerous pieces of outdoor furniture of all shapes and sizes. We did not want to have one size fits all baggy covers. Ahmed arranged an appointment to see exactly what we needed. He then came back with his boss and the tailor who would make them, in order to take all the required measurements to ensure every cover was bespoke to each individual piece of furniture. Well, we could not have been happier with the results. Each cover was tailored to fit perfectly, plus they were elasticated at the bottom, along with ties, if required, in very windy weather. The quote we received was very competitive and the quality of the covers and the work that had gone into them proved to be excellent value for money.
