I am writing this review to inform the other patients and/or verify the negative review about the ASTER CLINIC - AL MUTEENA BRANCH.I went to the clinic at around 8PM (18 February 2021) for general check up on the cold and headache and to request for the PCR test. I got the ticket and waited as usual (the same procedure with other clinics I visited in Dubai).The name of the attending physician was Mohammed Rafi. The diagnosis was done and was asked about how I feel. I described exactly how I feel sick that I have a headache and cold. I also mentioned that I got a colleague that got positive in his PCT test.I was asked by the doctor to send an email attaching the result of my colleague who got positive, as part of the insurance policy (as what they have communicated to me) and told me to go back to him after sending the request to the email provided.I sent an email attaching my colleagues PCR result. I also informed the Assessment Room that I sent it and they have confirmed they have received it.I waited for about 15 minutes, as they have said the approval from Insurance Company will take time. After the grace period, I followed up the team from Assessment Room if they have sent it and said they did and awaiting for approval FROM insurance. 30 minutes have passed and I decided to call our insurance agent to check the request in their system. Surprisingly, the Insurance Company didnt receive the request yet. I went back to the Assessment Room to check if it was sent, they showed me the monitor the request. I didnt read it as I was trusting them. An hour, I was spontaneously communicating with the Insurance Company and consistently answering that there is no request submitted to them.More than 1 hour, I was waiting and had run out of patience and contacted the Insurance Company once again. The Insurance asked me the reference number of the request and coordinated with the clinic staff from Assessment Room. When I asked about the request, the staff gave me the wondered look and came to know that the request is for doctors approval.I openly complained to the doctor about what happened and I was surprised that the doctor replied to me that it was delayed because I didnt go back to his room. I argued with him about the queue process and the purpose of the customer ticket. the doctor asked me that why Im so upset, I told him straghtly that its because of the time I spent waiting. its already 10PM and I cant believe that I have been bothering the Insurance Company about the approval of the request when in fact it was not completely submitted.theres no request to be approved by the Insurance in the first place.i lost my patience, and to my surprise the doctor threatened me that he will cancell my request to the insurance (the prescription and PCR test request) if I continue complaining. I walked out and said I will not pursue.I had never experienced such arrogance and negligence, on part of the staffs and the attending physician. I will be calmed if even one of them have apologized for what happened. BUT NONE OF THEM IS AMENABLE!!!
