Its clean, parking is easily available. There are not much stores and need bigger supermarket. The street lighting must be improved.

Very bad experiences. Handover delay of over 3 years. Charging for extra land which was not agreed upon earlier. Never expected such bad experience from such a company. Investors should be very very careful. Instead of compensating they are trying to squeeze more money. Worst experience ever nightmare

Not many stores and the ones they do have are pretty small but I suppose more stores will open up soon. Oh and its also pretty clean so I guess theres that.

The only one commercial area in the community. Includes carrefour supermarket, 1 coffee shop, 1 laundry, 1 ladies spa, 1 gents barber shop, 1 pet shop, 1 gift House, 1 shawarma location, 3 container restaurants (KFC, PIZZA HUT and PAK ). 1 new restaurant gonna open soon. Also there is a counter for mobile shop, etisalat and du.First floor is mainly occupied by DAMAC handover and QA office. Separate prayer halls and washrooms available for male and female. There is a rooftop pool, courts for basketball, football, tennis. Another portion of first floor fully available for gym. Also one clinic gonna open soon.

Its bit far but nice quiet community. If you like to be far from hustle bustle this is the place to be.

Its a shame that Damac hadnt made more of a concerted effort to get the community centre more populated with businesses and amenities in time for people moving in to the villas.Considering that the Akoya area is so far away from most of the usual amenities of Dubai, it is severely lacking. Those that are here tend to either be overpriced to the state of virtual profiteering, or are of suspect quality.Positive things must be said of the recently opened Attibassi Coffee Cafe, however, which is reasonably priced, recently opened, and well worth a visit.The Pizza Hut in a trailer that is parked outside in the car park, however, is not. Average quality, but prices way higher than any other Pizza Hut.The free gym provided in the community centre is good, with a bright and airy feel. The number of classes offered are quite small, and not all at a varied set of times.The community centre pool looks very nice, but is unfortunately all too often booked out for swimming exercise classes, preventing its use.

Carrefour is already open and operating, Great gym with good classes and facilities, gents salon, dry cleaning also operating.Ladies salon, pets shop, pharmacy almost ready and opening soon... cafee shop also open for coffe, tea, hot drinks, smoothies and healthy snacks.

Akoya service center has Carvo and a group of service shops such as mens and womens salon, flower and seedlings shop, gym and public swimming pool free of charge for residents in Akoya.
