I deal with them for five years now , but I think I will make the uniforms myself by any tailor.This is the worst company making a uniform clothes for kids.The quality is very bad, It damages from the first cleaning, and it doesn’t last long in a normal school week.It’s not comfortable for the kids, and not fixable, as if there was an ink got into it it doesn’t come off, even though I tried everything ( vanish, dry cleaning, etc..)It is the bad qualityKids wear them as if they were poor because of the stitches and the holes in the t shirts and the shirts. They je get so embarrassed. It is like a burned fabric.That’s not only me it’s all the parents as well. And we’re looking for another source or make it ourselves.I registered complains a lot of times but nothing changes.The items are overpriced for such a bad quality, we’re going to tell the school that we don’t want to deal with this company anymore.

I gave them measurements a month ago and when they gave it to me it was three times my size.. like if you take measurements at least be educated enough to make it your customers size. My school is telling me to get a uniform and this thread is stripping me of my money. I mean okay your expensive.. but at least make the quality and stitching good. Not recommended at all.

Extremely poor service. First time dealing with them. Such a pathetic company . For 2 months now they have been giving vague answers for the sizes which are not available from the beginning of school. Were they sleeping or just assuming that everyone will do online studies by default. How can a particular size be in production for past 2 months . Their quality is pathetic too. For such a big company why can’t they do the production in UAE . I know many other uniform stores which do the same. Really shameful. The customer service is the worst. They make you take 4 trips for uniforms. They never have stock. Even if you make custom made uniforms, they send you a message that you order is ready for pick up. You go there then you are informed that the PE uniforms will take more time. They dont bother to call and tell you that all items are not ready and its not just me they conduct themselves in this manner with others too. They have the audacity to advise saying use the formal uniforms till then. If we have to use formal uniforms for PE days then why does the school enforce using PE uniforms, why waste the parents money. They dont even know what items they have, when you ask them if they have a particular they will keep looking and asking one another do you know if you have stock then one person will go in to check. Its like playing parking the parcel with them. They have been doing uniforms for gems schools for many years yet they behave like they have just opened shop the night before. They promise to call when stock arrives, its been one year and still waiting for the call to come for caps, so on my recent visit I asked again, apparently they still dont have stock and promised to call. Its time Gems schools give parents other options for uniforms, because these guys at threads take the advantage and harass parents.

Nice mall with a big variety of cafes and snack type of foods. I come here mostly for the uniform shop threads and every-time I go I get a box or 2 of krispy kreme donuts.

Worse staff. Not fair. With favoritism. Indian staff allowing their countrymen to enter without appointment. While other nationality waited for their cue. This is unacceptable. The Indian security guard is even rude with us customers. You should teach your staff good manners and practice good customer service. GEMS school should think of other provider.

The ultimate disaster. Easily the worse day of my year.My kids go to a school that sources their uniforms from this supplier. Every year, its the same story. It is an absolute rush at the shop, the line is so long, most items are out of stock, and there is 0 consistency in sizes.This year, we have reached a peak of poor service, with endless lines and rude staff, because they are understaffed by at least half of their staff and not enough to cater to all the parents standing in line.My 64 year old parents were with me, and were not even considered due to their age and they had to stand on their feet for 3 h30 hours, I kid you not.Shameful. I pray the Lord I no longer have to deal with such an unprofessional company.

I took an appointment for uniform.The first available appointment I got was for after a month and once at the store , there were no available sizes . Very poor service.... all the parents has to complaint to KHDA why GEMS is forcing to get the uniform only through threads .... why there is a monopoly... and school management is not concern of the poor services.... why they cant give permission to other uniform outlets .... If the schools are asking the parents to get uniforms from any dedicated shops ... it is the duty of the school managment to see that this said shop is having capabilities of handling the job in the professional manner.... Worst company ever. Tailor took the measurement of my child but when i got the uniform it is smaller than his actual size. No school logo,no pocket on the shirt. They charged double price because of we order different size and tailor took measurement.One shirt is 78 Aed but they charged 112 aed. After one month PE dress still pending.Quality is worst.

The worst company for uniforms . It is my first time to purchase uniform for my daughter joining the school this September, and already very disappointed. Its been almost 2 weeks since i went to buy the uniforms and a size 12 pinafore was not in stock, they told me they will order and call me to collect, no one has called us back, every time we call they say they will check and call us back. Which never happens, and takes them 10 calls to answer your call. 6 days to go for my daughter’s first day in school and we still dont have the complete uniforms.Bad customer service. They are unable to take care of the issues, and telling us there tailor doesn’t know measurements of a size 12 dress, so how do they ready made the other size 12 garments earlier.They’re taking advantage of being the source of uniforms for multiple schools. Really bad management, no answer the calls and uniforms are not yet ready that was charged at premium prices for M2M. School management should listen to Parents and remove our dependency on Threads by having their monopoly. I wish not to deal or buy from them again 👎👎👍. Made 100 of calls at Town Square Branch but no one answers and the money should be after delivery not in advance in such cases to avoid parents stress.

Junior staff helpful but senior staff were terribly behaved - mistreating customers, most of which were families with kids. I witnessed the most terrible treatment of paying customers. Very poor service and shop management. Made us try all the different sizes only to later tell us that they don’t have new uniform for these sizes!! They have put up a huge message that they sanitize all trial clothes after every use - but right in front of me the staff was just putting back all the tried clothes (dirty as well) in the hanger directly!! No process for feedback as well…..disappointing.

The fabric of the uniform is falling apart in the second week of the school. Despite the high price tag, the quality is poor. I hope quality inspection could be conducted to protect consumers.

Not possible to get uniform in one time. First they ask all the details by call, so you feel that when you come by the appointment!!!! you will get it. But wait! It’s never like that! You have to come with kids wait a looot to hear “sorry, we are out of stock”. Very very poor service

T-shirts for KG1 are 100% polyester! Who thought it was a good idea to put small kids in a highly flammable uncomfortable plastic material in a city where temperature often exceeds 40 degrees?? Shoes also plastic, poorly made, kids feet sweating in them.... The store is overcrowded and chaotic despite appointments...I am happy to pay whatever required, but at least make those uniforms good quality!

I wish I can give no stars to this place. Horrible service, worst quality. No one picks up the call. With pathetic sizing you pay extra for Made to Measure and after 10 days you keep on chasing them on phone, outlet and they will keep on saying will be ready in a day will deliver. Despite of sending an email that the uniform is ready you go to the store and they tell you that no its not ready and will take another 20 days for Blazer which they wont mention while taking the order. Stay away from this store.

Overpriced and awful quality uniforms. Stitching and fabric quality is substandard. The staff is usually absent minded and unprofessional. Most of them are kids of school going age. The tailor does not understand anything and would look at you like youre speaking some Alien language which hes not able to understand. I wish I could have the option to rate 0 stars.

Poor quality at a very high price , obviously making the most of their monopoly with schools. I was told size was not available and that they would call me within 3 days , 10 days later no call , no uniform , they don’t answer the phone, tried headquarters and store - of course we cannot turn up in the store we need an appointment.

Too much expensive in Time Square Threads outlet. I bought trousers for my 7 year old kid and they charged me 110 DHS for one trouser ! Heavily charged. Why they are doing like this ? Its not affordable.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Tried on the girls skort in store and the fit was fine. Style was two buttons. Brought them home however and the fit and style different with a single button with elastic. Not what they gave us to try on. Also they didn’t stock swimming costume in the right size. I’ve never been here and come away with a full order due to stock issues.

Poor Customer Service! Planning to buy the uniform of my son in threads time square today but since those on duty in the afternoon are unprofessional, I decided to go to LCT uniform in karama. I got a better service and a better price of the uniform.

Facility is good, admitted us on time. Expensive though. I was there for my 6 years daughter found everything. One suggestion black and white shoes are low quality from company called Ecco... I would say buy from Clarks or somewhere more comfortable and good in half the price. With uniforms we dont have choice so pay...

The tailor took the size for the skirt but didnt stitch it well....lots of issues in terms of stitch and also design looks aweful. Really do not deserve any ratings but i am giving two because they accepted the walk in. Tailor should be either laid off or trained how to stitch skirts.

Where do I start? Poor quality and non diverse sizes aside, the shirts werent available in school and we therefore had to go to times square to purchase them. The default item to be sold is half sleeve blouse but after trying the sizes and all we were sent home with four full sleeved blouses. By the way the uniform is folded, you obviously dont see the sleeves, just the size.After opening the shirt on the first day of school we saw it was full sleeved and now cant return it. We now have to go and get an extra shirt and return the others. We have to pay for another overpriced shirt and waste another one because of carelessness. Those shirts feel like plastic and dont stretch and are very thin. The sleeves are very tight and dont offer full range of motion as weird as that sounds.I dont understand why GEMS schools chose this. A terrible choice.

Threads School Uniform store is situated on the ground floor of Times Square Mall. Provides designated and specialized school uniforms for most of the upscale schools in Dubai. Lack of choice for other alternative outlets creates its own issues and a rush at the last minute for uniforma. Service and quality could be better.

I visited threads time square to order custom stitched uniform for my daughter in August 2018. After having to wait for more than 2 weeks what I got is a very ill fitting loose dress. Whoever has done the stitching either didnt see the measurements properly or doesnt know tailoring. They overcharged for custom made dress and finally gave me free size stuff. Its much better to buy readily available sizes and do alteration from outside. There arent any good tailors in this place for sure. I hope the management would take notice.

Threads Times Square is a Consitant NIGHTMARE ! Have been buying uniform for Gems Heritage Indian school from last 3 years and never ever ever.... they give correct size. They don’t take phone calls. Daylight robberyLast day I went to buy a tie at Threads shop for my son (as he lost current one), but the shop offered me old model tie! They were telling that, they want to finish old stock for their profit! and buy new tie again after 2 terms! This is definitely not acceptable since the tie model has already changed. Threads in Time Square Centre - No one answers the phone lines. Trying several times and no response. Bad service. No one calls to inform if the uniforms are ready after tailor made. Schools approaching fast and uniforms not available at Threads yet.

Friendly and helpful staff in a very busy store.

They normally have what we go in for but can run out of some items. This is especially annoying when it happens too soon after the uniform rush starts - they need to stock up better. Parking is usually ok but can be impossible during peak times. Staff are mostly helpful.

Average quality, over-priced products and extremely bad customer service. On two occasions I was told that they will call me when the replacement products will be back in stock but no one called back. This was even after complaining to the manager that there was no call-back last time. Kanga and the duty manager on 21st August promised that they will call back.I will have less of a problem if they ever pick up their phone or not sell broken products in the first place. No one ever answers the phone when you call them.

My son is studying in BRS and theads are the uniform providers, I have bought uniform Pants from Time square centre since it was not available in the Sports city branch, I have compromised with GIS school uniform pants and they have charged 128 dhs per piece after 2 weeks ( max 5 days usage) the pants tear apart and stiches brocken, My son is a grade 2 student and you may imagine the usage. thats the quality of the product they are sellingAn advise to all the schools; kindly black list this shop and please stay away from them.
