Yes, it is more costly. However, the linen is pure, as is the cotton. By which I mean 100%. And it is also long-strand hand-picked cotton. This is the kind of material you will buy to make evening-wear shirts (unless you want to buy expensive material for work shirts too). Neighboring shops are indeed cheaper - but you can expect more like 75-85% purity of materials. 75-85% purity is still good quality, so it just depends what your priority is.They have have a wider selection than most of their neighbours. This includes a broad selection of high quality linen too, which is highly recommended in the hot temperatures of the UAE.For me, the customer service was very good.They have a tailoring service, but I assume they may be a bit more costly than their neighbors, and I cant imagine they are significantly better because they all do basically exactly the same thing (no exceptions): They copy the model-item (an item of clothing you already own that fits you well) that you give them to copy from. Nothing more. Dont expect particularly accurate measuring of your body anywhere in these places, but if you make sure your model-item is already a good fit for you then they will copy it accurately with the material you provide.For tailoring, I highly recommend Mayfairs (nearby).I also think Fancy cotton is a charmingly cute label for any fabric (fairly common label in the UAE for upmarket goods).Overall, good job well done in my opinion.

Very poor customer service. 1 hour ago experience in Satwa showroom. I cheerily entered the showroom and greeted them all good morning. No response. Then I walked up to the first sales man. Greeted him good morning. Mr Chandran attended to me for about 5 minutes. I said I had to buy pure linens and silks. He preceded to show me some Japanese and Italian linens, when asked what was the difference he said the colours. Didnt seem to know much about linens as he only gave one word answers to my questions. I was the only customer in the shop. When he asked how much material I needed I took out a dress from my bag and held it up. At this point we were interrupted by another sales person asking where some type of material was. They had a conversation while I stood there holding up the dress. Then he looked to me and said, ok, tell me . Mr Chandran was completely disinterested in me and my list of linens and silks I wanted to purchase. Very strange experience. I collected my dresses and put them back into my bag and said I better try another shop and he said ok. Again, all one word answers. The other salesman in the corner next to the window and the other corner at the back of the shop were all watching and didnt intervene to make the situation better or take over from his clearly poor service. Better to find a different place with cheerful and helpful staff in another material showroom.

I can easily say that my experience was not good at all and I will for sure never deal with them again. I paid around 400 AED for a formal blouse that ended up in the garbage after one use. The tailor is for sure no expert. Big regret!

You can find the most beautiful Fabric there ! And for good value. Regal it’s not that cheap but they are very good quality

I have been buying fabric here since 2004, when they moved the Regal Stitch from Karama to Al Satwa, I became their regular customer too. In the beginning they made a few very nice pieces for me, then from one day to another everything turned into one entire nightmare. Work deadlines, were not kept anymore, tailoring work was either executed wrongly or not done at all (even though charged), delivery promises were not kept and I was lied to.Did not even get an excuse. Very sad and very disappointing, but apparently they already have enough customers and dont need my business. But if they work for others, like they did for me, then I wonder how long they will keep all those customers. If there were 5 negative stars, I would give them

Very good fabric store, with a wide choice. I had tailor-made shirts cut very quickly and with a very good cut.

Massive selection on materials, prices are abit high , but selections are amazing, staff are very nice and professional! This is definitely one of the best places to visit if you are fashion creative and want to find unique materials for your designs. Parking places available close to the store so everything is pretty easy.

Extremely helpful staff. The gentleman even came to 2 shops next door with me to choose the buttons for my tops, to make sure that I would get a fair price... which is not always a given when a Western female alone goes into a shop unfortunately in Satwa. If the stitching work is as good as the customer service, then you guys have made a customer for life and I will send all my friends to you, as well!

They have very good collection for all kinds of fabric and the quality is very good. The staff is very helpful. If you want quality fabric this is very good place for quality. And they make sale from time to time which is very pocket friendly.

For quality apparel fabrics (silk, embroidery, prints, brocade, jacquard, suiting, shirting, gabardine...). Prices are moderate to high.

Avoid at all cost!!! Eight visits for my daughters prom dress and still a messup. The staff dont care about any customer input or anything. Everyone is clueless about any instructions given to them. Please do not waste your money on this hopeless store.
