On our first visit September 7, 2021 Ibrahim took very good care of us, very attentive waiter. We had a great experience and wanted to come back a second time.Two days later, however, our waiter was Cihat Y, whose behaviour was the complete opposite of what we had experienced 2 days prior.Not only didnt he wear his mask correctly, but he also brought expensive water which we didnt order, stating they didnt serve the water we had ordered.After telling him we ordered the exact brand (Sirma) two days ago he went inside and came back with what we had originally ordered. What a surprise.No apology, nothing. Throughout the visit we did not feel welcome but rather wanted the dinner to be over so we could leave this unfriendly space. Didnt feel like ordering dessert or any more beverages.Not coming here again!! Will be spending my money elsewhere.

Really fantastic Turkish food, you can tell the quality of the meat from the first bite, absolutely wonderful. Excellent service too, and an added bonus is the great view of the fountain show!

We dined here on Sunday evening. The restaurant wasnt busy, and the tables were half empty. The reception was great and we managed to sit-down quickly. We viewed the menu in our phones, and we saw a wide variety of Turkish dishes.We ordered Alinazik, Patlican Salad, Avocado Salad and two small bottles of water and a desert. The salads were served in 10 minutes or less, the main course was served in 20 minutes or so.The food quality is average. Nothing very special or tasty about the salads, or the main course. In fact, we found the Patlican salad slightly tasteless and raw (raw eggplant). The main course wasnt large enough for how much it costs.The waiter had no friendly gestures, he was more or less like a robot, taking the order and walking away very quickly. The food was served nicely. We asked for the bill, it came to 333 AED (90 USD). In my opinion, I think its a little too expensive for the quality of food served. The portions were small, and didnt justify 150 AED for main course which is made from yogurt, bread and small pieces of kebab.The value is low for the money you pay.

Gunaydin is a fantastic Turkish restaurant. My favorite dish there is the spicy Adana kabab. They also have a super breakfast on the weekends.

Absolutely delicious.. Really nothing much more to say, but I will try.We sat outside with an amazing view of the fountains and the Laser shows on Burj Khalifa. Tick ✅As for the food, I gave control to Ismail, the manager at the restaurant. We were five people and he constructed a menu for us based on his recommendations, with zero interference from us. Started with dips and salads, then onto two courses of beef (Caclik was amazing!), then two courses of lamb (the kofta in the picture was to die for) and finally a 3-dish taster desserts.To say we left with full bellies is an understatement, but so is saying we left very happy.RECOMMENDED!

Ive been on the hunt for the best Turkish restaurant in dubai and have tried most of the top onesGunaydin is by far the best Turkish cuisine experience. Its abit pricy but well worth itIt was my first visit so I went with their must have; the kisilik from Gunaydin specials and I will find it difficult not to order it next time... Its lamb in butter sauce, beautifully cooked and literally melt in your mouth.. A must try for sureFor me one of the measures to know if the food is authentic is how well they can make saslik.. Gunaydin mastered the saslik.. Its mind blowing and Im not even being dramatic..Oh I almost forgot the tar tar.. Dont expect a complicated French or Russian tar tar with lots of herbs and flavours.. Its very simple (beef, pickles and mustard) but delicious.Kunafa was OK.. My favourite is still the simple humble beint Al mandi kunafa :)

I ordered meat shawarma sandwich and when I tasted it and asked I found it mixed of beef and lamb meat. I don’t eat lamb, so this needs to be mentioned clearly in their menu. However, they changed it to me for a chicken shawrma instead without any debates.I suggest this important information should be written in the menu.

If you ask me, where to find an authentic turkish teste, no doubt it is Gunaydin. I went for the breakfast, and was amazed with freshness, deliciousness and variety of food. Definitely recommend it for unforgettable moments 👌

I never imagined that such bad quality of food is served in this area (Souq al Bahar). We have ordered lamb ribs and found only pieces of bone covered by small piece of fat. My colleague refused to eat his laham bajeen because it looked raw and not cooked, it had no flavor nor salt. The place had no air conditioners, it was really hot as they were using fans only. I didnt enjoy the food nor the atmosphere of the restaurant.I dont recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant.

Nice food! I really like their Alinazek kebap but their Iskender kebab was nice the first I ordered but last time I ordered it was really disappointing 😔 the meat was not fresh and very little sauce that the bread was not soaked properly. Also it’s a bit overpriced.

We came there without knowing, the staff was super friendly and the food amazing. We ask the waiter for the best meat and followed his advice without any deception. The grilled meat was super tasty and tender. We also enjoyed the tabouleh and hummus. You can have the view on the burj and the fountain show while eating if your timing is correct.

The food and staff are excellent, but if you are planning a business lunch expect the owner to be on his phone with the loud speaker on. Rude and disruptive! You would think he can afford earphones.

Unfortunately my last visit was unpleasable because of my steak. I asked for medium well and I got it full dry and had, so they change it to Rare I was planning to cancel the steak but the waiter was asking me to cook it more so I accept , and then the made it medium well cooked and I just ate half of it cause of my mood.I am a Regular to that place since long time with all the changing as been taking place and prices inflation still their Rib eye is my best.Booking, service, time and place always Perfect.

Shame!My 70 years old mother and I were walking around the fountain when suddenly my mother felt poorly. She has blood sugar condition and we needed to find a place to sit and have some sweet (deserts etc.).Luckily we were literally in front of Gunaydin Restaurant and as Turkish people we thought they would be able to offer us a seat so she can have desert etc.We entered into the restaurant and I asked for a table for 2 and was ready to explain our situation but the waiter didnt even listen us and he said sure and gone away (presumebly looking for a table) then a Manager/or Receptionist lady Serena/Sarana approached us and I have told her that we need a table for two so my mother and I can order desert...and before I was able to explain myself, she told me that sorry no available table if you dont have a reservation and I have told her that we could sit even outside where literally no one sits. She said sorry no table whereas the waiter asked us to wait for it. Simply refused to see what was happening there.Our impression was nevermind helping someone clearly seems poorly , they didnt offer us a table because we were there to have only desert.Horrible hospitality! and we will never ever ever be back in any of Gunaydin Restaurants. I will also file a complaints to the rightful authorities.

I was there today food was amazing and delicious as always …the waiters Yussef and Aziz were very nice and helpful …but I’m giving the lower rating because of the welcoming team she was very arrogant…first she claimed that all the empty tables in the nicer section are reserved coz I wanted to sit with fountain view then I told her I’m not sitting if I don’t get that table…so she changed her mind and asked us to sit…I advise them to train the welcoming team to be more friendly …

Very very average food experience here... the burger bun was soggy and meat with little flavour. The starters also unimpressive. For the price tag i d expect a lot lot more... with so many good food options in Dubai why visit this place? Stay away

Location is prime, tables and chairs are comfortable and spacious, that’s it, two stars for these two things, can’t say that staff were friendly enough, but I can say that the service was slow, and I have noticed that the meal size became smaller, and the prices became higher, but the shock was when you pay too much for small cup of tea in Turkish restaurant. Feb 2019: Great food, right by the fountain. July 2019: just visited again. The food was equally as good and the service was great. Im really impressed with Gunaydin! A great place to bring guests to sow them Burj Khalifa and the fountain.

In general terms i would say it is an great choice. The food is really good. The mix grill for 2 was much more than enough, the salads are very nice and big. The service is good, fast and effective. The fact that doors/windows are not really closed make things a bit difficult with the Dubai heat and humidity. One negative is that they do not serve alcohol.

This famous restaurant in Turkey has openned a branch in Dubai with a view to Dubais mall fountain. (Not Entertainer Friendly).FOOD:The food is good but normal as i didnt find anything special about it from other Turkish restaurant except that its over priced. Their meat pita was flavourless felt like eating dough.TIP: try their kebab its yummy.SERVICE:All the waiters are Turkish which gives the place more authenticity, but as we all know Turkish barely smile.AMBIENCE:You would actually see everything being cooked under your eyes and the windows have this wonderful views to Dubai fountain.

This is definitely a good kebab. Don’t get me wrong. But the prices are ridiculously and unjustifiably high. 3 people, no alcohol, 900 dirhams ($245!!). I am sorry, but kebab, however good it may be, cannot cost that much. No surprise, all Turkish people I know, never go there because they feel totally ripped off. And rightly so.

The food is ok but way too overpriced. The service is below expectations. Most of them unfriendly and arrogant. They serve you faster than a fast food restaurant! We didn’t finish the starters yet and they served the main course. I asked to serve the main courses later which we received 10 minutes later as a cold version! Meat, burgers and fries we ordered were already cold and we had to ask to reheat again!I personally also dislike the way they treat the food, especially if they do some presentation at the table!Food needs to be treated respectfully. This is not the case at gunaydin.

Always a pleasure to visit at Günaydin Dubai. I love its authentic Turkish cuisine, the chicken shish kebab or the Günaydin Lamb Steak. The Pide is so delicious and the katmer should not be missed at all (yes, make sure you leave space for the dessert). Also, if youre a fan of healthy drinks, try Mint Ayran (yoghurt with mint), very delicious and refreshing.

We visited Gunaydin for Turkish breakfast. It was fixed breakfast for sharing. They served olives, cucumber tomato salad, cheese plate, jam and honey, pastry basket, tea and 2 types of traditional eggs. All was tasty and the portions were good. We asked them to bring more of some of the food and there was no problem. Service was super fast and good. We all liked it.

Not too bad, burger was ok, sadly used frozen chips and not cheap.But it is smack in the middle of tourist area so no surprise
