I am a new customer for a 2 year lease contract.It was agreed several days in advance that the car should be delivered on Friday morning. Then on Friday morning, I was informed that the car can not be delivered until the next day. I requested to deliver the car before 11:30am because I had an appointment at 12mid-day.Then on Saturday at 10:30 am, I was told that my DL is missing. I already had submitted the electronic DL a week prior. Had to take a copy again and sent it.At 12, when the car was rescheduled for delivery, I got a call from operations that it will take a other 2 hours for the car to be delivered. By this time, I was already too late and missed my hospital appointment, still without any car.Driver called at 1pm asking for my location, when I already gave all the delivery details twice to the account manager.Well eventually, the car it got delivered.I also want to mentioned that it took me 5 days to get the initial offer send via email from the Sales with all the specifics leasing details and fees. Had to send daily reminders.But the rates I was offered from Thrifty are very good, better than my previous car rental company. I had switched companies because Thrifty’s rates are approx AED 500 per months less than what I paid with Car Fare, where I was a long term leasing custom for over 6 years. So let’s hope that this can only get better.So if you are planning to hire from Thrifty, make sure to allow plenty of time to get your “ducks” in a row.I will review this review once I have more experience with them.

The worst Thrifty Car rental franchise I have ever experienced in the world there collision and damage extra protection is worthless and highly bureaucratic the road assistance Customer Care is unresponsive and takes forever to reach you, you are better off flagging for Help on your own.I rented a car with all the possible extra insurance I can purchase and this did not help me to Cover a flat tire , they asked for a police report for a flat tire, where would I get a police report for a flat tire can you imagine on top of that they gave me the car half a tank.

Please never rent from this company. I was rented a car with an expired registration and while I was in possession of the car I received 2 fines (more than 6 months ago) because the registration was expired. I told thrifty and I was told to send pictures of the fine to a particular person and I was told it would be handled. I am now in the process of buying a car and upon registering it I discovered neither fine had been paid. I have been trying to deal with this for over a week and no one seems to know what to do as each person I speak with is telling me something different. This company is only good at taking money that’s it.

Thrifty is a well-known car rental company which has many branch all over UAE the work shop in al-Quoz area is the heart of Thrifty in Dubai where you can go for any emergency happened to your rented car the service is very good but things may take time due to the pressure of the work there . The work shop working time from 8 am till 7 pm and in case of emergencies the hotline gives all support around 24 hours .

Took over 45 minutes to get the car after I signed the paperwork. Don’t waste your time here !! Worst service.

My experience with Thrifty dubai was weak. I had the car for amore than 3 weeks, split in 2 rentals. Did all in their headquarters in Al Quoz. My experience is of mostly uninterested employees, left waiting for long times without updates. Each time I went I stayed for more than 45 m before finishing the transaction.In my view a clear case of how Dubai was 10 years ago. Not adapted to today consumer demands: I you rent a car and prepare all online you expect 5-10 mins from the moment you are attended. A minimally acceptable facilities and hopefully one or two smiles.Overall customer attention is weak at most, including from the employees checking the car to the ones doing paperwork. It seems at all time they are doing you a favor instead of you paying.

If there’s any chance, any single chance stay away from these guys..Had the worst experience of my lifetime dealing with thrifty and I won’t repeat that mistake again!Customers are treated the crappiest way with arrogant workers and the cars they don’t maitain and upon return they use that small spots here and there to charge from us!

Total hassle free rental experience, however the car smelt like if someone smoking there for months despite the sticker in the dashboard encouraging the opposite. Car brake pads were in its end of life which could compromise the security.

While taking back they will come with microscope and put each and every thing into customers head. I have been renting cars from this location for 2 years on and off and the team at Thrifty have always delivered fast and professional service. Would recommend it to anyone looking to hire a car.

Very bad experience with Thrifty.Had a tire Haden. The tire exploded while driving and damaged two tires.Since a police report is required for any damage, I would have to call the police and the police report was then calculated at AED 500 by the police, Thrifty charged another AED 52.50 fee.After the terrible event, I called Thrifty and they asked me to go to Thrifty Al Hamra, instead of changing tires or giving me a better car, I would be offered a worse car.Then I was asked to come to the airport to be given a better car or to be forwarded to a workshop. There, too, nobody knew how to help me and they offered me a worse vehicle again.Which I also contradicted, I was asked to drive to Thrifty Al Qouz the following day and that the vehicles tires could be changed there.I arrived around 10 a.m., it all started very easily, they took the documents from me and looked at the vehicle and they decided to change the tires. After waiting 1 hour, you came back with the vehicle unrepaired and I was informed that the vehicle would not be repaired. There is also no upgrade. Then I presented you again with the police report that it was not my fault. Then it was decided to change the tires.Again they came after 2 hours and said that the tires would not be changed. The customer is not worth anything here, at Thrifty nobody sees themselves responsible, it is pure chaos.Then I had to wait another hour, man decided to give me a vehicle of the same category, then you came with a dirty, dirty car that you wanted to hand over to me. When asked why the new car is not clean, you said we need 20 minutes to clean it.I decided to take the car back for the first time because the road to the Burj Khalifa is closed in 1 hour because of the fireworks.I waited a total of 4 hours without any result.You have to consider that I rented the car for 30 days.In the pictures the current car is in white and the new dirty one in silver.I also rented the car in early November for December, I asked beforehand if I could get a Ford Explorer like I rented it, it was affirmed that I would get a Ford Explorer with O Km.In retrospect, that turned out to be a lie.National Alamo Enterprise is recommended if you want to go to Oman there you buy Oman Insurance on the border from Ahlia Insurance for around AED 360/30 days, at Thrifty you pay AED 1500 for 30 days.Furthermore, the tires and cars are very neglected at Thrifty. Unfortunately I had no way to cancel the car because I booked through a third party (Opodo), which is not customer-oriented.At Hertz I would have paid 1,000 AED less for the same car for 30 days, Oman Insurance disadvantage 100 AED per day and mileage limit generally 135 KM per day.At Europcar, I would have paid AED 800 less for the same period. Disadvantage Oman trips are generally not permitted.Furthermore, you have to consider that I have to pay 3000 AED for the damage myself and still you were not wanted the tires.upgrade01/01/2020Car was changed after my new visits to ThriftyExactly the same carupgrade01/02/2020Thrifty answered here on GoogleI answered them backWe spoke on the phone and I told you the whole thing again. Thrifty will answer me.Disadvantage I only have 8 days left of the 30 day car. But at least a drop on the Hessen stone. Now Im going to be surprised at the result after the phone call.
