An amazing place with a beautiful view. Very long dam where we can kayak and have some snack while viewing the splendid sunrise and the sunset while going on an adventure around the whole dam.We can purchase Kayaks, pedal boats and other miniature water boats for a reasonable price and enjoy the view.A must go to place with family to ha e some time out and fun.

This is a nice attraction in Hatta. The Hatta Dan itself is a nice place with a great view surrounding the mountain terrain & the lavish waters. The Hatta Kayak provides you a unique opportunity to rent kayaks, peddle boats & motor boats to have a trill ride in the Hatta Dam. A place to be if you happen to visit Hatta. Weve been here in last January when we visited Hatta for camping. The place was not that crowded. The place is full of facilities including ample parking, washrooms & a few restaurant outlets..

Good staff and well maintained facilities. We went there early morning like around at 7:30 am. Maybe because of that the small shops right at front of the dam were not open. So its better for early morning visitors to bring their own drinking water like we did and sorry to say this 😁 carry you own tissue roll too. The toilets might not have them 🤷‍♀️

This place is really beautiful 😍 best time to visit is between October - March … and person who likes summer can visit in summer as well. Great experience at Hatta. Opens from 7am to 9pm. Variety of boating options. Kayak is the best never miss that. Properly managed and well maintained with enough staffs. Equipments are good quality. There are many lifeguards to protect. Evening time is the best. You can enjoy the view between the mountains and the water is crystal clear.

Hatta Dam, with its kayaking activity will let your stay there worthwhile. Though it may cost more, but it sure had a good impact to your health!

Good experience, we tried the yellow boat that has to be paddled. Its well organized & the experience is worth the money paid. Make sure to go during 5pm - 6pm summer time.

Beautiful place, you can even take your dogs for the boat rides. Most of the boat rides you payonce for unlimited time. Scenic and a beautiful water body in the middle of the Hatta Mountains. REMEMBER to put on your walking shoes as you park your car at the foot of the hill and its a steep climb up, however you can take your car up to only drop of family members. MUST VISIT.

A very good place for kayaking with family, particularly for kids. Staff is friendly and cooperative. Best part is, if you are tired kayaking; a staff with speedboat will tow your kayak and take you back to starting point. Such an amazing experience! We are a family of four and rented two double kayaks. It was early morning and words cannot describe how beautiful and peaceful it was there. I had never experienced that kind of silence anywhere else in the UAE. We were almost alone on the lake, only a few ducks following us around. We spent more than two hours kayaking and my daughter said she could kayak forever. We will come back for sure. A few tips: bring spare clothes and leave all belongings except water bottles and phones in the car. There are toilets at the base parking, but not upstairs where the dam is. Put some sunscreen on your arms (if you wear short sleeves) and your face. Wear a cap. Enjoy every minute of this unforgettable experience.

This was an amazing experience.. much better if you go pay for a package on Hatta adventures website so you’ll get a guide and you get to skip the queue. They have a wide range of water mobiles with lovely colors of kayak. And the view is breathtaking!

They accept Esaad 15% discount. The customer service is extremely poor. Had 4 interactions, all very rude and unwelcoming (in the supermarket, at the ticket booth and the waiting line). Perhaps some training would help 👍🏻

The place is sooo beautiful!! We had so much fun and The prices were fair. There was a mini market and some cafes. The only issue was the place didnt have signs for the parking place and the toilets were 10 minutes away (walking ) from the place.

One of the best place for Kayaking in UAE. You can kayak as long as you want till the closing time. No other place offers that at such price. The view is beautiful and the experience is amazing. One of my fave places in UAE. One down side is that changing area is not available so might have to change in the car.

Its located beautifully between the Mountains. The view is breathtaking. However there is no single washroom near the kayak area. We have to go down to the food caravan area if nature calls when u r kayaking. Thats not a good thing.The place is worth a visit. ☮️

Hatta Kayak is an adventurous place located near Hatta Dam. The UAE Oman border is also not far from here. We went in a group of 6 persons and totally loved the experience of kayaking. We went in January 2020 and the weather was lovely. It was crowded so its better to arrive around 12 pm or so. The views of the mountains once you are in the lake are just breathtaking. Must visit place.

Away from the noise of the city, a 1 hour journey to scenic area of Hatta Dam.A beautiful place to go early morning as a small family trip or to go alone!!Visited once on a weekend, and it was crowded with lots of things going around. But I enjoy places which are quite and serene, so thought to try it on a weekday...Finally!! I could make it. And it was worth a drive and a day off. The kayaking was an incredible experience with breathtaking mountains around.The charges are 60/- Dhs per person. They have multiple options from one seater kayak to a family boat.This place really made my day!!Do check if out, As quoted by Leonardo Da Vinci “Experience is a truer guide than the words of other”.

Great place to spend time.Difficult to get kayak tickets on season.If you chose donut boat, double kayak, bicycle etc, you have to wait much much more which will make you mad.My advice is to choose single kayak as it is easier to avail.Even though you know nothing about Kayaking, you can choose single kayak and experience its adventure.It is very safe as there is lot of guides availabe for safety.Eventhough it is a small place, it very well maintained and marketed.They allow Kayaking even after sunset which is not common around the world.Toilet facility is available only in parking area and it is insufficient to accomodate this much tourist.

Its amazing beautiful place and I recommend for everybody to visit this lake.But I give you 4 stars because:1. Your toilet is too small for such number of people and there is always long turn.2. Theres no shadow on the top of the dam. And in sunny days its terrible to stay there.3. There were people whore smoking on the dam and also we met smockers even in the middle of lake. They were smoking inside kayak. You should be more strict with smokers.

Very exciting and fun endured place to visit. Beautiful view from the top and fun with any package or vehicle you choose to sail. Would recommend to reach the point at least 2 hours prior to sunset. Great place!! The facility is very well managed and whole experience was smooth from start to finish. You can park at the very top along the sides (approved parking). We paid AED. 120 for a double kayak and give you basic training before you start. There are life guards doing constant rounds in speedboats to ensure everyones safety.Note: Better to keep you phone or camera in a plastic bag or cover since you will get a bit wet while using the Kayak.

So heres the story.. we packed our camping stuffs and took a 3hours drive from Abu Dhabi to a place we never been before..We just checked online about things we can see and do here.. we arrived in the afternoon which is quite busy, didnt manage to rent kayak so we ended up roaming around to look for a place where we can camp for the night. Luckily there are clean, safe campsites to camp.. for free! Plus having this magnificent view of mountains.. the campsite will be just a bonus for me. In the morning we return around 8:30am for the kayak and were both amazed knowing that were the first ones for the day(theyre already open at 7am). The staffs are friendly and approachable, the dam itself is so beautiful with the wild birds(you can take photos of them seems like theyre used to have guest to admire them😅). We rent the kayak for 60dh each and you can use with unlimited time(they will really allow you to feel and enjoy the dam) They also have a lot of things to try like small boats and water bicycles. Itll be good if they have toilets tho.. but they have a changing room. Were planning to be back soon. This place is really worth the drive.

Beautiful! This place completely exceeded my expectations! Loved every bit of it. The view. The mountains. The water. The scenery. The people. Every single bit of it. Would definitely come here again. Make sure to come early in the morning. By the time we finished kayaking and went back the queue around noon was unbelievably long. We were glad we came early.

Visited during the month of April. The weather was quite pleasant. A very good outing with family and friends. Make sure you reach early so that the kayaks are easily available. Wear good shoes as you have to walk a bit after the parking. They have made proper steps towards the dam. If someone is not able to walk upwards, u have an option to drop them up and then park your car. Take extra clothes for emergency. Chances of getting wet are high. There is also a park nearby named as Hatta Hill park where you can have the barbecue. A perfect one day outing. Go for it😊

The lake is very pretty, surrounded by mountains. It’s a very nice thing to do with family and children. From Dubai it takes around one hour to get it there. It’s a bit too expensive though, and the lines can be long on the weekend. Other than that is totally worthy to go and I think it’s one of the best things to do in the Emirates for a day trip.

Meraas does it again!! What a fantastic place for family outings. The staff is really friendly and the prices are really good for the place. Very nicely made. Has all the necessities available. Has a Cafe. And great adventure sports for all ages. They also have lodges on the top. Great view. Highly recommended for larger groups to enjoy.

Hatta kayak is a good outing for family and friends. Slightly expensive but compensated by unlimited time for doing kayaking. Now with abundant parking and a shuttle service, reaching there is easier than ever before.

Very beautiful place and new experiance, nice dim in between the mountains, very calm place to practice this kind of sport.Staff were nice and helpful they illustrate how to practice this exercise.Prices: very acceptable ( cash and credit )Time required here at least 2 hours.Parking is an issue here, they design it to park down the hill and then walk couple of minutes uphill which is not logical, ppl parks near the entrance but very limited slots there.Generally speaking...it is woth every mile you drive to reach it....

This region is scorching hot & no much of activity apart from Kayak adventures where you can catch a glimpse of beautiful n scenic view fortunately not soo many people were around parking easily accessible n space also no holiday resorts as the town is small only JA hotel......

Very well organised with queues and boat tickets. They also have mini cafeteria and food store besides the ticket counter up the Dam. Snacks are at reasonable prices including karak tea. Boat tickets are worth it. Staff guidance is available. Lake is huge and clean so can relax and enjoy boating with family and friends. Boats are sanitized and well maintained. Life jackets are old and irritating while paddling.

Visited this place today.V good management, rates are bit high. Staff was quick, supporting and helping.Lot of boats, pedal boats, kayaks are available. Infants are not allowed on any boat. So if you have any infant, make sure you visit with one more family who will take care of your baby while you enjoy the boating.Lockers are also available.Parking is also there. You have to come down by foot on slope.Only problem is there is no rest room and no cafe or canteen. Rest it was awesome to boat in lovely green water among mountains.

Great place to spend a friday outdoors. Amazing views and very safe. Important things to note: Park below and walk up. You might see other people parking on top but you risk getting a fine by doing so. And they have no washrooms. Remember to do your business before. Otherwise its a long walk after you reach the top. Kayaking is the best way to enjoy this place but they also offer pedal boats etc. Not advisable during summer.

My response to the owner below: shuttle bus available only after 11 as confirmed by your staff ! people come early to the dam to enjoy their morning, regarding limited parking space, super cars and fancy cars were allowed to park up only. such a shame to know that.A great place for an active weekend.However, what makes it bad:terrible parking organizers as you have to get supper tired just to reach there from parking before you ride the kayak, shuttle bus will not start until the organizers decide that there are enough people to waste petrol on by dropping them up the hill by bus.Plus, if you need to use the toilet you have to go all the way back to parking area and they did not put signs or banners to mention there is no washrooms up next to kayak rental area. Only changing rooms.There must be always poor organization and it is very disappointing that they do let ignorant people to manage such projects and have a power to tell you “ no sir “ for every single question you ask, they barley speak english. I blame Meraas management for not supervising those people and having quality checks on their performance and behavior with visitors.

Nice experience to try while visit UAE. We can rent many things to explore the dam, like kayak, boat, pedal boat, etc. The price is depend on which item we choose. I choose single kayak that cost 60aed for unlimited hours. But i think a couple of hour is already enough to enjoy the dam. We can pay with cash or card. The staff is good. But theres no toilet here, only changing room. We can go here by car or walking

Just type Hatta Kayak on your Google maps and it will guide you.The distance between parking to climb upto payment booth is the most difficult part..steep climb with stairs.Once on the ticket booth, u pay AED 60 for single person kayak and 120 for double person kayak. Unlimited time. Best time to visit is around 5 pm till sunset. There is a shop next to payment booth for water, juices and small snacks.Kayak until you are tired. Different routes to take as some small mounds are made. guides/life saving guards are around all the time on small speed boats. They will tow you to the coast if u r tired to continue. Around 2-3 hours are easily passable there. Kayak, sit relax enjoy the nature.

Nice place but missing few services like restrooms and cold water .. the tickets counter could be better as well, it takes a while during busy hours. They do offer a free bus service that takes you from the parking lot to hatta kayak and back which saves you time and energy.

Beautiful environment. A perfect place to cool off on a hot day. You can’t get in the water, but it’s still very refreshing and nice. The service is good and kayaks are in great shape. I went during Eid and there were few other people there. There is no restroom, so you must go to a place a 3 minute drive down the road. Lockers are available for free.

Visited Hatta Dam almost a year ago. we reached there by around 4 PM and rented single kayaks for AED 60 and they let us enjoy until the sunset. The view is good and the place is so calm and quite. Rowing was not so tiring since we had enough time. There are other Kayak options like double kayaks as well.

Nov to Jan would be the best time for the activity. Except for the heat, the experience was amazing. We went with our 20 month old who also thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The place was kid friendly with all safety precautions in place.

If youre an adventurous soul then you should definitely visit hatta dam for boating & kayaking. It was such a nice experience. The green waters of hatta dam makes you feel as if youre in some european country. Though the temperature was high along with high humidity (not like jabal jais) but still its worth going. Make sure you reach there around 3 so you can do a bit of sight seeing & then go for boating which you should definitely do for an hour ( coz the price is 60 dirham for single person for single seat unlimited kayaking, 180 dirhams for 3 seated boat for 1 hour & so on. Choose wisely. Hope youll enjoy.

Its quite a distance from Dubai but absolutely worth the drive. Its open up to 6.30pm so give enough time to enjoy the experience. Theres no food or drinks so you might want to come with yours. Lots of parking available

Very nice lake to do kayaking in UAE. For a Asian standard it is a so so place as I have been in other better but it is still a great place for you to visit in UAE. You should park down the hill and walk up if you plan to do the kayak or you will have fine ticket

Very friendly staff with most of all equipment in good state. Also quiet reasonable price for all boats n kayak except motor boat one which was 300 AED per hour. Also their patroling is also very good for ensuring safety of tourists. Only problem there is no cafeteria or toilets available at destination but available in hatta village around 10 minutes drive.

Its a nice activity Kayaking and Boat tours.Facilities can be improved, nearest toilet is 2KMs away,Parking was difficult as they have very few slots but you can drop-off people at the entrance and go down the hill to park and comeback.Queue is more than we expected that day, we have taken their Kayaking boat which is for unlimited time for per person.Suggest to start early in the morning as they open very early in the morning also, to avoid most of the common issues.

Good place for weekend visit. Mind that you may sometimes have to walk uphill if there is lot of traffic. They provide shuttle uphill & downhill only for ladies & kids.
