A light touch of Arabic desert. Perfect for the hot days is you dont want to miss a chance to go to the desert. Cool dune bashing with conditioned Land cruiser, a small introduction to the sandboarding (although could be more as the board wasnt equipped with normal fasteners) and a camel riding (just to be done) - cool spent of 4 hours with nice guide Zayed. Highly recommended for those in hurry.

Let me start off by saying we had the best time. Our coach Hashim was the best he took care of everything. We were picked up on time he explained everything were going to do. He gave us an over view about dubai. He is great with kids. We loved watching the sunset in the desert. Everything we did was worth it!

I did the Red Dunes with Quad Bike tour and this was one of the highlights of my Dubai trip.Our guide (Shamju) arrived promptly on time at the hotel with good communications on whatsapp. We had about an hour ride to get outside the city and into the desert to a small area where we waited in an a/c room with other tourers.This company operates a lot of tours, but they are highly organized with guides who know what they are doing, so everything was smooth.While most people prefer the dune bashing, i preferred the quad bike, and boy! that was fun! Not for everyone though. It requires some amount of navigation skills and presence of mind as those bikes can go. Our guides were constantly with us and helped us when one of us got out of track or where stuck in the beginning.The biking experience we an absolute adrenaline rush. You have to trust the traction on those bikes as you scale, jump, and drop down sandy dunes (and keep your acceleration on). Absolutely loved it.We did the biking for what seemed like quite a bit of time. In the middle of the desert we stopped for sand boarding - like snowboarding but on a dune. Which was also fun - the only not fun was brining the boards back up the dune :)There are a few photo ops too. Overall all the guides throughout were excellent.After this we are taken to camp Khyma in the middle of the desert, where we could dress up in traditional wear (they were cleaned for us), smoke a shisha, buy some souvenirs, take a picture with falcon, do a camel ride, and sit down in bean bags to watch the live entertainment - there was no belly dance during ramadan months but the fire dance wa good, and eat some very good local cuisine (bbq). The sunset over the camp was also spectacular.Overall the entire experience was amazing and covers the full package of a desert experience.

We had a great time with our tourguide Medo. Explained all touristic information about Dubai during the ride to the camp.Quad driving was extra 150AED for 30 min but you definitely should do it.Dune bashing was amazing! BBQ, lamb kebab and salads were really tasty. Free shisha and Henna tattoe for ladies.Recommend!

Best experience in the desert. Our tourist was amazing, funny and gave a good tour since we got picked up. Drove like an expert and safe in the Dunes. The camp was very well kept. The food was real good. Meet so many people from around the world. Best company for this tour. From start to finish he kept the tour going.

The hospitality is amazing. The guides we had from ocean air, really did a good job during the desert safari. In here you will be able to photos with the falcon, do camel rides, gaze at the stars, make new friends from all over the world, enjoy the sheesha. The underwhelming experience for me were the performances. The belly dancing was good not great. The food is also good and tasty. But, if it is your first time, it will be an experience you would want to attempt.

Great camp to be. Camel riding , guided tours, great food and entertainment are found here. If you are interested to book a trip with theses guys, just do it. Jeep driving, quad cross driving, sand boarding, camel riding....all you may like, this is the good address to book it.

We had a great tour called red dune safari with our driver Usman, with dune bashing through the desert, with sand boarding and camel riding. At the camp we got some delicious dates and Arabian sweets with coffee or milktea. Before dinner and the first show, we got the opportunity to get some henna or enjoying the Shisha, make a picture in Arabian traditional clothes or with a falcon.The food (buffet) was delicious, also the dessert and the shows were great. I especially enjoyed the fire show and the star gazing in the dark as a phenomenal end of this tour.I can only recommend the tour or just a visit on this camp. I had a unforgettable experience and I enjoyed it here.

Absolutely fantastic day out from our driver picking us up to drop off, it was the best day out dune bashing ever. Later on in the evening we went to the camp for dinner and a show of Arabian dancing. The food was faultless all authentic Arabian cuisine. Five stars for me all the way.

Fantastic tour service. The tour provided us a drive out into a Bedouin style camp situated in the middle of the the Arabian Desert. Yoosu our wonderful tour guide treated us to some 4x4 adventuring before heading to the camp for sunset camel rides and dinner around a show . At the camp you will have time to take pictures with the national bird in customary dress ,smoke shish-a ,and purchase local goods. The experience was amazing watching the sun come down . Pick up from your hotel made this an easy adventure to enjoy

Admired his patience when we drove to the desert as members of group asked numerous questions and made some unusual requests but he never lost his cool but was accommodating and friendly. A truly mesmerising experience. I must say our guide Tilanga was a real gentleman. He was in regular contact before picking us up and gave good overview of itinerary. Dune bashing was great fun before heading to camp to freshen up and take camel ride. Feast was great before show and finally Tilanga dropping us back off.

Nice camp with very nice people around, good entertainment, food quality surprisingly high. Extras like Henna-painting without price, but a long queue to wait.

This is the best tour I have done in Dubai. What an excellent service provided by Ocean Air travels, Nasir was an Amazing tour guide. I was picked up at my hotel and then taken to ride ATVs; this was at an extra cost but nothing too expensive - half an hour. After that, we were taken dune bashing (incredible). From there we went to the camp where we have a fantastic barbeque, got to take some pictures, ride a camel, Hannah painting and watch three great shows. From there we were brought back to the hotel. We were picked up at 2 pm and dropped off at 9:15 pm.

It was a wonderful time. I was not expecting so much. The included items in the package surprised me. Be open till try everything, including sand surfing. And if you dont like roller coasters the dune ride may be too much. When they offer barf bags for the dune ride, you know it is a good time for those who like thrills.

A fantastic experience! First of all our guide/driver was very friendly. He showed us many interesting places a long the way to safari, which were helpful later in our vacation.We chose extreme safari for groups, so when we got picked up from our hotel we were greeted by a lovely couple from Switzerland. In total we were 7 people, including the driver and it was more than enough space in these Tayota SUVs.On the way to our first stop, 4 of us had to go to the toilet 20 min in to the drive. That was no problem at all, we stopped immediately so dont be afraid to ask the driver if you need anything, they are extremely friendly. Our first stop was at the ATV/Buggie rental where they change the tires for the safari. We went for the buggies even though its very expensive, but it was somewhat of a dream of mine. It felt unorganized, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.Then we did the safari which was a lot of fun. In the middle of it we stopped for pics and sandboarding. After half an hour we went to the Al Khayma camp which was our final destination. Before going into the camp you can chose to either ride camels or take some great pictures of the beautiful sunset in the middle of the desert. After that you get shown to your table where you will spend the rest of the night. Before the shows both men and women can get dressed in traditional Emirati clothing and of course takes some pics in them. If you got some time left there are a couple of other activities you can do, like getting a henna tattoo or smoking some shisha. After the first show the BBQ will be ready with some fabulous food, which you can enjoy while watching the rest of the program. We also had a shisha pipe on our table which was very relaxing. After the shows, the lights will be shut down to reveal a beautiful starry sky which you can enjoy for a couple of minutes. Then its sadly time to go home.Its definitely an unforgettable experience and is a must do when in Dubai. I would say its a top 5 attraction and we got to do A LOT in our time here. So book your tickets, you wont regret it 😉

A memorable sand dunes safari experience 😊We had an amazing experience with ocean air travel tour program. Everything was so well organized. Their communication is also very quick and they respond to all your queries which is great. We even received the confirmation after we booked the tour online and even a reminder message on the day of the tour. Our guide Medo was simply rocking. The highlight of our tour was the sand dunes bashing for alomst an hour, which was adventurous. The camp was also very good and the food was delicious and more importantly of very good quality. The shows were also very interesting, especially the tanura show. In the menu they had lots of vegetarian options, which we appreciate a lot. The seating arrangement was also done well.

The entire experience was mind blowing. Mansoor was our guide and he was fantastic, considerate and flexible. The fireshow, belly dancing and the little market was fantastic that they have there. Do try and stay over the night it is worth it. We went out to a camp fire in the desert with fruits, snacks, coffee and camels. This was one of the experiences I will always remember. We had a great time during OcaenAirs camel desert safari in early November. Raiz, our driver and guide, picked us up from our hotel perfectly on time. The car and the drive to the desert camp was comfortable and very nice. Raiz was a great guide - always helping us with information about Dubai, taking pictures for us, giving us tips and looking after us in the camp. The camp is private - located in a distance from main village, surrounded on 3 sides by tall sand dunes. The weather at the camp area was perfect in the early evening - pleasant with a gentle wind and nearly clear skies. After the desert drive and camel safari, we enjoyed an amazing sunset and playing in the desert sand. Kids had lots of fun. We then moved to the camp, where a tent and a table was assigned to us with dates, Emirati sweets (very tasty) and Arabic coffee awaiting us. Theres lots of things to do in the camp - henna painting, holding a falcon, trying on traditional Arabic dresses, sand art, Sheesha and so on. As the sun set, the entertainment program started with great performances of belly dancing and Tannoura dance. After that, we had dinner - delicious grilled meat, biryani and few more dishes. Raiz then dropped us back to our hotel. Overall, great location, good arrangements, great service and amazing experience.

What can you say, the OceanAir desert BBQ and dune adventure is so much fun, definitely must do while in Dubai. You are driven to the red Sand dunes about an hour out of Dubai. Once you arrive at the dunes they warn you to hang on as it is going to be a rollercoaster of a ride. It is one of the most fantastic rides, over sand dunes. The vehicle floats over the sand like it is surfing. Your fears fade as you realize how gorgeous the view is as the vehicles float over the sand. 5 thumbs up for this exciting adventure.Updat 2020, traveled back to this place as it has some of the greatest red dunes to take pictures.

We had an amazing experience in the evening safari with the camp and BBQ. Made possible by Mansoor.Overall, this tour is worth the price, you get a lot of your money. Mansoor was a very nice guide. It started from the pickup, where he entertained us from the hotel to the desert with his jokes as well as his explanation of Dubai and UAE attractions, landmarks and life in Dubai. Overall great tour and very well organized and with attention to detail. This company knows how to select their employeesFrom Pickup to Desert: The ride was very enjoyable with Mansoor, who took his time to show us landmarks and attractions of Dubai and explaining us about life in Dubai in UAEDesert: Oceanair has access to the red dunes, which is ideal for your photos and nice to experience. Mansoor took his time to take pictures for us and also coming up with ideas of different type of photos we can take. He really took time and effort to help us take special pictures. He also showed us sandboarding and gave us multiple opportunities to try.Dune bashing: Never ones have i felt unsafe. I was a bit concerned at first but it was vey enjoyable just like a rollercoaster. Mansoor is an excellent driver. He even played some music to make the moment more epic.Camp activities: very well organized and a lot of activities that can be done and seemed very professional and always with a smile. There were enough staff available to make sure that it didnt feel crowded and we had the time to do all the activities. The way it was set up everyone can see the shows.Mansoor also guided us here with taking pictures and also with the planning. Buffet was an Arabic style buffet, good food and quite some option. The shows were very entertaining and professional they know what they were doing. Lots of small details that add to the experience, and special attention to the arabic experience.They even had some blanket we can use for when we were cold.Conclusion: Mansoor and the company really have attention to detail and made this tour worth every penny. I would definetly book this trip again if I ever would need to, and is worth every penny. Big thanks to Mansoor and the team. If I had the chance again I would book with this company and with Mansoor.
