Great steak, beautifully grilled , you get to buy them and the sides are on point. The staff are nice and helpful. One of the good places to eat if you’re at Dubai city walk. And it’s very reasonably priced as well I’d have no problem recommending this place if you’re looking for a steak !

Not a great restaurant option for non meat lovers. We tried it out because we were looking for something different. Not the best option available as the flavours are there, but their focus is mostly meat, so even chicken falls behind.Unfortunately their drinks werent all that great either, but their Butcher Chocolate Fondant was pretty nice. We also think their side of onion rings were quite nice.

Really not good steak, there is no taste in the steak to be honest. The salmon was really good. The salads are good as well. Service is amazing.

The butcher sbop and grill is a south african restaurant chain, specializing in steaks. This one is situated on the side of city walk, so expect it to be quite busy on the weekends, and if you go in the evening by car expect traffic and parking to be difficult.The starters were fine, nothing to extraordinary but presented well and quickly.For the mains the espadata was tasty and a good size meal. This restaurant is about the steaks though, and i have to say that AED for gram this place offers the best steak in Dubai! I had the 400gram wagu fillet for 177 AED. Thats unheard of in Dubai price wise! It was cooked perfectly, seasoned to my liking, coming with two sides.There are better steak houses in Dubai, but you will pay twice the price for the steaks. If you are craving a good sized well cooked steak, and arent fussed about alcohol (as there is none here) then this is your place!

Quality has gone down we ordered the mixed grill for 2 and steak meal for kids . Meat was rubber bland tasteless and in all honesty not butcher grill standards . I for sure will definitely not be going back

Expectations weren’t quite met as this is a butcher shop, with a great selection of meat, however, the cooking of the meat was another story...

I had the opportunity to dine with friends from abroad and we have chosen this location for our get-together. It was probably the best place to have an outdoor dinner, weather was good, service was great, atmosphere was amazing but the most important criteria was that the food was beyond delicious. We enjoyed every bite of our dishes. Price value was definitely justified. I recommend it to anyone who likes high quality meat.

My school mate hosted me to this heavenly place. The food was just outclass. The lamb meat was tender and juicy.Though I found it to be slightly on the expensive side but the food quality addresses the cost issue.I would recommend this to all those who are fond of steaks and grills. A thumbs up from my side.

Awesome South African menu with lots of potential to show off South African food.Its lost some of the attention to detail though. Best try it before the rating drop even more. And if this venue is South African owned this should serve as early warning to the owner to intervene personally at the Jumeirah 1 outlet to avoid failure.I hope this helps.

Good meat. I ordered South African and Wagyu Tenderloin steaks. Could not tell the difference apart from their colours. Not so good coffee. Service was excellent. Can go back again to try more stuff.

The quality is amazing, however there are hardly any option for vegetarian patrons.Their best dish is definitely the Chicken Florentine schnitzel. And it pairs well with their fresh lemonade.Keep in mind the portions are very large, one serving is sufficient for two people.

It was really good, the steaks there the best. Outdoor and indoor seating both are available, best to sit indoors as the noise from the streets a little annoying. If that general buzz doesn’t bother then outside seating in this weather is amazing! Try the tenderloin steak, enough for one man with a normal appetite with two sides and a drink. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Had a few bad experiences previously, but must say that my last visit was incredible - very good service, excellent food, and at a great value for money. Highly recommended. Ambience could be improved a bit.

The older management was much better than this new guy. The worst thing, we’ve been waiting for our orders for over 40 mins as are most of the other customers, and the only table being served is the one with the manager is his family. Very bad service and rude presentation to the restaurant‘s customers.

Nice atmosphere, good quality food and good presentation. Ordered Rib Eye, blue.. Delivered blue, perfectly cooked but on a hot plate so I had to save my meat from being overcooked. The meat was certainly room temperature when cooked which is perfect. The first thing you notice when you cut through is that it looks like veal and tastes like veal, its not bad (its good veal) but its not beef. The rib eye was lean with very little fat, exactly what you expect from veal not a well marbled piece of beef rib eye.Ordered wings as a starter, had little sauce and tasted dry.

I prefer their burgers to the steaks and meat they have, but unfortunately this branch of the butcher shop was the least favourite in my opinion.A good place to try some real burgers even if the shops name doesnt say that, Im not saying that the rest of the menu is bad, but its not in league with the burger they have.Staff are active and cool, ready to serve and willing to to go through their menu.It can be a bit pricey for certain items such as seafood.

I went there with a friend to try their steaks, we ordered 2 different steaks to experience it but got really disappointed. Not at all up to the expectations. The meat quality was poor and so was the cooking. Service was ok, no complaints. The location of the restaurant is good though, hustling and bustling place.

Meat is great there. But keep away from the chicken.. The service is also excellent and the place is in the vibrant city walk directly on overlooking the main road. Parking is available at the back and washrooms are very close to the restaurant. We were served the South African pudding cup cake complimentary with our order. The side dishes are simple and yummy. The waiter will give advice regarding the food which turned out to be valuable. It is on the pricier side though with approximate of AED180-200 per person. The Espetadas were really nice and fulfilling but not the chicken as it was not as desired. The fillet was so tender and cooked exactly as requested and the sauce is good.Will surely visit there again

Very good loved the meat, loved the dishes and you get some boerwors as a snack with the bread. 100% recommend and the coffee is good too. I would love to see a boerwors roll. A bit expensive too.

Good And tasty meat, even my son liked the steak in the kids menu. Espetads are a must try, we loved the combination of chicken and lamb.

Super brightly lit, but the lack of ambiance is certainly made up for by the food. They do not serve alcohol, but the meet was absolutely excellent, WAY better then most expensive, fancy restaurants Ive been to in Dubai.Highly recommended

Nice steak restaurant. Obviously busy on weekends; and since they dont take reservations at this restaurant. Arrive early if you want to get a seat (e.g. before 7 pm).Menue is the same across all restaurants. But somehow the steaks werent as nice as the ones in Riyadh. Different chefs, different food.

THE most reasonably priced steakhouse in Dubai, with great steak, delicious sides and friendly service. Never been disappointed by these guys and will continue to visit whenever I feel the craving for a good old steak.

The branch in mall of the Emarits used to be my favorite location for meat. Around a year ago , their food quality went down , in two separate occasions I couldn’t complete my meal.

I wen to city walk on Dec 11th and ate at the butcher shop. i ordered a full rack of ribs and my wife got the veal tenderloin. we got our food literally in 5 minutes.....then we realized that our food was re-heated and not cooked fresh....it got cold after 3 minutes of us getting the food. we also ordered the fresh lemonade and it was over whelmingly bitter. wouldnt go back there, we really liked this place when we went to the mirdif city centre branch but that one is closed right now for rennovations, totally different experience at this location.
