The Business Bay Bridge is fantastic. It is a great link road servicing Dubai and also it looks so good especially at night. You can walk around to the base of it from Festival City, or take the turning before the bridge and park up if you are coming from the other direction.

Possibly only one to enjoy via boat during the hot summer months, in the cooler months of the year, a stroll along Dubai Water Canal is a great way to get some exercise and get some stunning views of the city.The canal starts by Jumeirah Beach and works it’s way up through jumeirah and business bay. It is crossed by a number of varied architecturally interesting bridges and at the Sheikh Zayed Road crossing there is a stunning waterfall on either side of the road which is illuminated purple at night and parts to allow boats to pass.A throughly pleasant escape from the city, whilst remaining close to downtown.

Great route to commute from one trunk road to another to reach Dubai from the northern emirates. But drivers should exercise caution. The hard shoulder barely can fit a car thats broken down unawares. My car I drove had a tire puncture a few years ago right atop the bridge and it was nerve wrecking because during the rush hour especially that route is just convenient for moving traffic. My car had near misses from being hit by vehicles passing on the high speed lane who will not have an idea that a vehicle is stalled ahead. I quickly had to hit the gas and move to the right side of the main lanes where the road on the bridge branched off into 2. one leading to festival city. Where I placed the triangle and could call for help.
