I went to the salon today to get my hair done, this was the second time. I recently wrote a review about how I was upset about the outcome of my hair because the colour I got was too dark. Although this was a misunderstanding the salon still invited me back and did my hair colour to the way i wanted it and i’m really happy with the outcome.Even after the review i left, the staff were still very lovely and polite and the customer service was amazing.Shakira, who cut my hair was very kind and professional and explained and gave me advice about my hair. I’m very happy with my hair this time and i wanted to say thank you again

Today I visited this place for Gelish Manicure at Jumeirah Branch (Al Wasl) and I fall in love with their service! Very welcoming and attentive staff, nail technician Aileen very professional with very polite attitude. Beautiful decor, everything looks very high standard and of course with following hygiene and safety precautions. All instruments/tools are disposable and for single use only which gives you extra safe feelings. Big varieties of different services, I been offered not only a nails spa such as manicure/pedicure but hair, facial, and even massage. I think this place is a heaven for all ladies who wants to pamper themselves. Definitely will come back soon to treat myself again.

Opalyn at Pastel Salon was extremely knowledgeable and professional with eyelash extensions and brows. She was so attentive and gentle during the session that I almost fell asleep. When I woke up I was so amazed! The look was very natural. I would highly recommend her to anyone whos looking for high quality lash and brow work.

The Salon is a lovely environment and has very professional staff. I had Leila as my stylist and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She is very attentive to your personal wishes whilst also guiding you with her own knowledge. I had a drastic color change from blonde to red and she made me feel reassured and listened to me the entire way. The haircut was also great and she cut it so I could wear it both naturally curly and straightened.

My hair was so dry and damaged, Josephine gave me a very nice haircut and did a smoothening treatment for me and now my hair feels amazing and soft at all times. It also made it easier to blowdry and take care of. I feel like I have my hair back💙.

I came in as a first time client and went with a junior hair stylist. (When I remember her name and the nail stylist I will update 🙈) They were both amazing and I came for a silver toning. She took advice from the senior stylist and applied. Her technique was too of the line and the staff there really know how to pamper their clients. Terrible experience, would definitely not recommend them. Spent 6hrs at the salon on al Wasl only to have the stylist mess up my root color & refuse to give me a refund (my hair is dark brown, she turned it orange!). Feel free to reach out to me if you want more info.In response to the reply from Pastels below (since I cant reply directly): First of all, no one told me of any complimentary service being offered to rectify the situation over our call today, it was all just refusing to take any accountability. Also, no the information you mentioned is incorrect, the color was done incorrectly in the first place during my first visit. That should not have happened in the first place, brown hair root coverage is a pretty basic task for a professional salon. I visited again the next day and was told that Stephanie would fix it to the original color, she applied another dye & managed to cover it, to an extent. I informed her Id be doing a blow out within a day or two she actually said that it will be “great and will bring out the highlights” (did the team also fail to inform you that the highlights were also done wrong & required fixing?), i even told her the blowout is applied on the roots and she said it wasnt a problem.

Fay did a clean and thorough job. Would recommend to anyone looking for a professional wax.

She was very polite and professional and gave me a lot of great advice about my hair and listened very carefully to what I wanted and actioned it exactly the way I hoped. I went to get eyelash extensions for the first time and was suggested I did LVL instead. Amazing result. Wish I knew about it year ago so very impressed with the quality and service. Opalyn is clearly an expert and what she does and so friendly. All together a very happy client!

Shakira did a great job of interpreting my request, communicating with me, and has excellent technique when it comes to coloring and highlight placement. Very pleased with the results!

So I went to Sabina after reading all the rave reviews, but the haircut I got from her was the worst I’ve ever gotten. I washed my hair today and the layers are so short they’ve bunched up as I have very heavy wavy hair. I kept telling her during the haircut to ensure the layers weren’t short but she only did what she wanted to, completely ignoring me. All the stylists I’ve been to have always give me longer layers as I have heavy hair! Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Plus Sabina is not the best when it comes to customer service!

I had my appointment with Emma, who is very skilled at her job. I had a rare request and wanted to get a mullet. Emma was very profesional about it and explained everything she was going to do as it would be a bit complicated and risky with my type of curly hair. I am absolutely in love with my haircut, it worked out to be amazing and I will most definitely go back to her over and over again. All the staff was very sweet and helpful as well. This is such a great place to go and I would recommend Emma to everyone !!!

I went to see Laila for an LVL lash lift. I’ve been getting it done elsewhere for 2+ years but haven’t been entirely happy. Laila is a true lash/brow expert. This is the first time I’ve been told “you don’t need a lash lift” and then told how to deal with my droopy outer lashes. No BS, just straightforward, honest advice. She could have said nothing and taken my money but she clearly has bags of integrity on top of her vast experience. She tinted my lashes and I’ve come away a happy (and educated) customer. I shall return. (Oh and parking is easy - right outside.)

My experiences of Pastels Hair Salon in Mercato has always been very positive. The staff are always very courteous , the stylist Rachel is fantastic . The superb head massaging at the sink is so relaxing and done with great care. All in all an enjoyable visit each time.

Its my go-to place for hair colour and haircuts. I recently took my two daughters age 6 and 10 for a haircut and the staff was super friendly. The salon was clean, there were few customers and they took our temperature when we entered the salon. Everyone was wearing a mask and they are following standard operating procedures to keep us all safe. I would highly recommend using their services.

My daughter and I are so fortunate to have Emma as our stylist. All of the staff are fabulous, but Emmas expertise, knowledge and advise on cutting and colouring is superb. Highly recommend this salon.

I DEEPLY regret going here the hair stylist started by heavily trying to sell me products even though I have virgin black smooth hair then she gave me layers when I asked for straight line, the hair cut is soooooo bad that it looks like I cut it at home! I need to now shave my hair from back because its so bad that its pokes me because its not an even LINE (cant cut it coz some of the hair is so small u cant hold it) !!!! I paid 380 so I look like a clown? a toddler couldve done a better job cutting my hair then this so called professional hair stylist thank u for completely ruining the one thing I was confident about

My first visit to the salon was last year in December near my birthday time and I absolutely loved their entire service. I would highly recommend Sabina ( junior stylist) She has been in this industry for 30 plus years and knows it in and out. She advised what is the best thing for me and not whats expensive which I believe is very important while establishing customer relationship is to give the customer the right information and not just for the business. I got my hair straightened by Jennie in Al-Wasl branch , and it was amazing , tried the hair Botox for the first time and I’m just surprised how natural it looksIt kept the natural curl but stopped the frizzing which made my hair appear wavy, bouncy and shinyIf you have fizzy hair like me then don’t hesitate getting this done to itAnd Jennie is a true artist she’s simply out of this world

Been coming here for years for hair cuts and the stylists have always done an amazing job and done exactly what I asked for. When ombré was in style a few years ago I got it done here by a stylist named Shakira and it was perfection, which was especially hard because I have pitch black hair.The only bad experience I had here was when I came in and they asked me to wait a couple of minutes but instead I waited 30. I assumed they forgot about so I just walked out. I almost never went back because I was so mad but the manager called me to apologize later that day and offered to rebook my hair cut with no charge, and since then I never had a bad experience.

Salon and ladies are all lovely, but it’s the stylist Jessica, I go there for!

I booked an appointment for my eyebrows and upper lip with Jincy at Pastels Jumeirah. She took me through a thorough consultation and explained what she was doing each step of the way. I had been growing out my eyebrows to get them cleaned and shaped and I got it done by the right person. Not only is she a professional at her job but she’s very sweet and makes you feel comfortable. I am definitely coming back to her!

Id like to start off by stating facts - Didi is a LEGEND!Had a blunt blonde bob cut by Didi and it is amazing. Shes a patient perfectionist and did an amazing job of interpreting my most confusing instructions. Blonde highlights were blended perfectly - super smooth transition (I had like 6 months of growth to blend). The bob was cut with immaculate precision, which in my daily life now means that doing my hair takes like no time whatsoever.Pastels: 10/10 (My go-to salon for everything beauty - brows, lashes, hair, etc)Hair by Didi: 12/10 would recommend 👍

Has to be one of those rare places that have it all right! The place is cheerful, airy and spotless. The staff - reception, assistants and most importantly the stylists know exactly what they are doing, are most professional and polite. Jessica who I always rely on for hair color never fails to get it right. The hair wash borders on a head massage! I did my eyebrows for the first time with this salon and met Jincy who really takes her work seriously, is extremely detailed and has some great advice to hand. Wonderful experience always!

Excellent salon & phenomenal service!I came here for a hair treatment & I couldn’t possibly be happier, the experience was flawless.Gerly who did my hair was professional & outstanding, she explained every bit of the process and gave me constant updates while we were waiting. What really differentiates Pastel is their post visit customer experience. They messaged me to check on my hair & if i’m happy with the treatment. They invited me over for a free hair wash & followed up on when i will come. I always get great service at Pastels. I have tried several of their stylists over the years and all of them were very good and experienced. I also appreciate that I never felt pressured to purchase products or services that I didn’t want or need. Just got my hair colored today and noticed they actually printed out the cost of the hair color, highlights, and treatment before she started doing anything..which is really good so you know beforehand how much you’re paying - no surprises.

After so months of lockdown and trepidation, to enter a salon was so comfortable thanks to the team at Pastels Wasl branch! Not only were they professional in their approach, but also careful for the safety of my visit. They ensured the distance factor and all sanitization measures. I had an appointment with Georgie today (Al Wasl branch) to cut my hair.She did a phenomenal job! I absolutely love the cut and the low lites she did for me. When I arrived I initially asked for an all over toner to go back to my natural colour but Georgie suggested I go the low lites route instead since my blonde hilites still looked good. I love, love how it turned out. The colour is beautiful.Not only did she do a great job with my hair but the service was amazing too. I arrived early but she attended to me straight away. It was also not a problem for her to add more time to do the low lites.Thank you again!

My wife came back after 5 hours doing hair colors and was told sorry nobody to blow dry !!! she came back home hair wet looking like nothing. she could not even see the hair color. Totally disappointing and that is a shame because the color technician was kind. There are many salons galore in the neighborhood so bye bye after 5 years......

Second time that I got my facial done at Pastels with Aislinn at their Al Wasl branch. She is very knowledgeable, understands your needs and does the facial accordingly. She is extremely warm and friendly and is not in a hurry to get the job done.I thoroughly enjoyed the facial and loved my skin the morning after...so much softer, smoother and brighter.The only person and place I will be going for a facial hereafter is with Aislinn at Pastels.
