After 9 years in Dubai I finally got the chance to settle with one barber and say I have a barber instead of jumping around every couple of months, having Moris doing his thing is really awesome, he is not in a rush he takes his time, works with passion and doesnt ignore what you ask for and try to be creative by doing the opposite (unlike the others from my previous experience), thank you for being professional Moris, its always fun being your customer, see you in 2 weeks.

You make an appointment and they put their buddies in front of people and expect you to wait, when you arrive for your appointment.The receptionist has a basic brain and struggles with basic understanding of everything.This is the third instance of unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect of me, not to mention other stories if heard from ex customers that cautioned me, so now I caution you!

A few weeks ago, I went to a barber shop in Marina and the barber ruined my hair (dont want to name the salon)! Therefore, I was feeling a bit hesitant to go to Kensington Barbers but I was greatly surprised. I met with my barber (Mohammad Al Rahmoon) who listened to me, and immediately saw the faults in my previous haircut. He meticulously cut my hair and I was so happy with the end result. Mohammad was a great listener and more importantly, he is a magician with the scissors! Highly recommended! The staff was very professional and courteous. I felt very welcome there! Started well but now: poor punctuality on booked appointments. Systematic delays and on my last visit I waited 45min and the barber was still not here. It was a 10am opening appointment so no excuse. I left and no one even called me back to apologise.Plus increased pricing, no more loyalty card and dont take their time as they used to anymore. Overall major disappointment.Theyve just lost a weekly loyal customer.

Difficult to find a good barbers in Dubai but I highly recommend Kensington!! Great atmosphere and treatment the moment you walk in. I was recommended this location and it has not dissapointed!Ask for Moris - great guy, great chat and an even better barber! Easily the best I’ve had in 3 years of living here!

I went there at 9:30 pm for a haircut which could have easily been made within 20-30 minutes (shaving of the sides). They had literally four (!!!) guys not doing anything productive except for playing FIFA on the couch. They refused to cut my hair saying I don‘t have a reservation. After asking if reservations are mandatory, they denied and and said they would accept walk-ins as well. These guys clearly didn‘t want to work at this time anymore - yet they claim to be open until 10pm. What a bunch of lazy hipsters.

I always had a great time taking my haircut at Kensington Barbers (oops not only haircut) all of their services (hair highlights/colour/shave/manicure/pedicure/facial and even head massage). The service are really fast with their expert staff. Also, I recommend to book an appointment with the website or facebook to avoid queuing while playing PS4 or watching Netflix movies.

I went to dye my hair silver, Ive enquired if they had the color in which they told me they did. I payed a whopping amount of 400 AED hoping that it should be a good quality and instead my scalp got burnt for being done by unprofessionals! Now I have spots in my head that dont grow hair. parts of my hair were flying off as he moved his hands quickly on my head. the color was able to stay for one week and then it started turning blonde. WORST and I mean WORST hairdresser Ive ever been to. Youd expect good service for the over expensive price they offer...never again.
