Place is nice and suitable for a coffee and snack break.A must try for coffee lovers is thier special coffee with avocado drink (esalpokat) its really amazing and the presentation is something else!

Big fan of this place, from Japanese traditional breads to so many cute little asian twist of pastries of sweets and savory, indoor and outdoor set ups are available. Not so good nice during summer in an outdoor tho but they have the cooler that can ease the temperature and humid outside. Staffs here are super nice and attentive. Good job on the level of customer service here. Will comeback and highly recommended for a quick bite and for real meal!

I came here for an afternoon treat and bubble tea. I really liked the atmosphere, alot of Japanese cafe vibes. However I would not recommend the bubble tea. The tapioca was not up to standard and the banana pastry I ordered was just OK (a bit dry in my honest opinion). Perhaps its because we came on a weekend afternoon during Eid and we were the only ones at the cafe. Perhaps we will come back next time to try the food.

I have been a regular customer of this restaurant. I have introduced it to my friends, colleagues and even clients and they all like Yakitate. The food has a variety of options from pastries, snacks, main courses and desserts and even drinks. The place is clean and has a pleasant and soothing ambiance especially in the evening. But the main reason for visiting this restaurant often is the staff. All of them are friendly, attentive, caring and welcoming especially Annabel. She is the epitome of a perfect hostess/waitress. She is excellent in customer service and gets along well with everyone. I highly recommend this place anytime of the day.

I came from Japan.🗾I used home delivery. 🏍The packaging was perfect.🍀Miso ramen cannot be eaten as it is, so I think its a good idea to put all the ingredients in a pot and bring them to a boil. Because noodles and ingredients change deliciously by cooking. Since the seasoning is strong, you can make it more delicious by adjusting the seasoning there.🍀Stir-fried eggplant and beef with miso was disappointing because almost no eggplant was found.🍀Originally, Japanese rice is closer to mochi and has a high aroma. Unfortunately, it is not offered here.🌈Next, I would like to actually go to a restaurant.

If youre looking for Japanese food, but dont want something too fancy and overpriced then this is the absolute best place to dine. The variety is absolutely amazing. The food is fresh and just so so good! Do not forget to have the ever famous Japanese Cheesecake!!!

Went to Yakitate expecting to enjoy a good Japanese meal. Was largely let down by the food taste and presentation.The ambience is good, the pink blossom 🌸 decor is nice.It is good as a fusion food restaurant but it does not fit the bill as a Japanese restaurant !Also note that the prices have increased significantly and a simple Donburi costs 45+ AED.The service is good.

Palatable yet affordable.Spent less than a 100bucks for sushi donuts, teriyaki burger, drinks and different flavors of motchi. Food is already a fusion of your favorite Japanese dishes. Our experience in yakitate is superb!

Its my first time trying this restaurant. I was curious how it would compare to the othere japanese 🏯 restaurants.And it has the same name of the yakitate japanese anime which also about food.The salmon bento was amazing i especially liked the salmon maki and edi fry.

Love this place! Great food and great staff. Been coming here to try different drinks, baked items, sushi, fried food, appetizers and more. So far I have recommended this restaurant to ask my friends looking for a nice Asian restaurant. Indoor seating is a bit cramped bit outdoor seating is plenty. Try the Syphon coffee and chicken gyoza or edamame.

Came here as my friend brought me here for his treat. We were the four of us.I decided to go for the The Dragon and the Honey Avocado. Both of which were recommended by the kind waitress.The Dragon looked spectacular, but its not the way I want to have my sushi. A one time try but not again.The Honey Avocado was just out of this world! Wow. I have to come back here to try it again! It was fantastic! The best avocado drink Ive had till date.4/5. They have a wide selection of food from appetizers, coffee, desserts, fresh juice and milk tea. Famous for their cheesecake and taro milkshake, though there are times that their taro and red bean is not available for a couple months. Their sushi burger is a must try too!

That was awesome ! Dessert is well baked and taste is different, my first experience in Japanese cuisine and was an enjoyable time.Staff are friendly and happy to describe everything to me and bear my non-stop questions about ingredients.

My husband happened to discover this Japanese bakery in Old Dubai, and it is heaven. Ive visited this place many times since, and have tried quite a few things and loved them all.We have tried the following:*Chicken Yakitori - Pieces of grilled chicken thighs on skewers served with teriyaki sauce. A great choice for starters..*Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen Burger - Tried the Ramen burger for the first time. Ramen noodle pancakes are used in place of a bun. It was nice and something different, albeit a little messy to eat. Its something you should surely try once, even if ramen noodles are not your thing.For drinks, we have tried the Sangria Tea, Taro and the Espresso. The first two are refreshing, but the Espresso is just amazing. Its frozen espresso cubes, served with an espresso shot, condensed milk and fresh milk on the side. When mixed together they just taste divine. The taste of the coffee gets stronger with time as the cubes melt.My first visit here was for dinner, but the many trips after were just for their Kiri Cheese Bun. This is my absolute fav here.The baked cheesecake is what the bakery is famous for. Order it with salted caramel on the side and you wont regret it. The cake is light and fluffy and you just cant have enough. They also serve a large selection of other confectionery and baked goods ranging from pastries to freshly baked breads. The prices are reasonable and the staff always welcome you with a smile.

Who would not love the amazing japanese food. Yakitate at Ibn Battuta Mall is the place if you are craving for japanese and asian cuisine. The bakery also has loads of yummy and colorful bread and pastries to satisfy not only your stomach but your eyes too.😋👍For dine in, better get a reservation or you’ll end up waiting on the queue. The flying noodles is a must try.😉

A very nice place with good environment.The food they serve is a modern Japanese style, very young.The thing that I liked the most is despite the modern style, the classic and traditional flavors have not been modified no more than necessary for this nation; where they cannot use Mirin and Sake.

It is nice place. Another presentation idea for sushi, well i am not sure if you will be able to enjoy the sushi as you know it. Because it is hard to use chopsticks, you should try it for once. However it is up to you if you like to eat sushi in this way. Price are afordable and portion are big enough.

Ok, so, originally I wanted to visit this place just for deserts. But it actually has pretty decent Japanese dishes. Most of them are very cute. You just have to see these sushi donuts or rice burgers. And desserts. They are little works of art. Definitely a must visit place in Deira...and on Dubai all together!P.S. Try their siphoned coffee. It has cool presentation and tastes great!

The bread and pastries are good, but the drinks are hit and miss. Most of the matcha drinks is a bit watered down. I suggest order something else.

One of the best place to experience Japanese cuisine. Visit their bakery and try the Matcha Keropi and a slice of Vanilla Crepe (check the photos). They have these varieties of cute baked goods that were creatively designed and some are based from anime/Japanese cartoon characters. Tastes good and it’s budget friendly too! I enjoy every visit. Servers were nice. They also serve other food like Ramen Burger and Milkteas. They also deliver and sometimes they have promos too!

Located beside the Al Ghurair Centre this Japanese Boutique Bakery is busy and I’m not surprised! 🌸 With on-site bakers 👨🏼‍🍳 they’re always replenishing their pretty stocks with all kinds of sweet sensations, beautifully decorated and making it hard to choose! 😋 We finally selected their strawberry 🍓 and chocolate 🍫 Oreo cupcakes! I photographed all to show you guys what we saw 👍😊 Light, fluffy and really delicious the Japanese 🇯🇵 style of baking is hard to resist. Their prices were amazing considering the high quality, our cakes 🍰 were just AED 10 each. Highly recommended give them a try! Love 💕 the cakes for kiddies too! 🌹

Good place to try the Japanese pastries and bakeries. Japanese cheese cake is a must try. Fluffy, softy and melting in the mouth. Very nice pastries in animal characters. Good looking and tasty. Not to sweet. Also, recommended to try classic bubble milk tea or matcha bubble milk tea with less sweet. The bubbles are softy and chewy. Sweet for life.

I highly recommend their milk teas, esp Hokkaido, avocado, and honey flavors. And of course, their souffle cheesecake! It’s so good; fluffy and not too sweet for my taste.What i didn’t like was their lunch meals (at least the ones i’ve tried). Tori katsu don & ebi katsu curry don were too salty.

So tasty cake and yummy deserts , reasonable price for sushi , professional staffs made me feel welcome , I will certainly come again I love their drinks , Red bean cream is highly recommended for yall

Good quality Japanese food for reasonable prices they offer. The bakery is also great for a quick bite. The sushi is of decent quality. The place is small with minimal seating so expect to wait for a table specially for lunch where they offer special prices.

After hearing a lot about quirky japanese pastries on offer, we finally decided to try some at Yakitate in Al Ghurair Centre.The huge array of cute little cakes and sweet bakes had us confused at what to order, and they are attractively priced as well.We finally ordered the Pikachu cheese tart which had a cute Pikachu face on it , and was really delicious, with the chocolate filling and cheese outside combining really well to produce a nice warm flavor. This is recommended and is totally worth its price at 14 Aed.We also had the Keropi tart with matcha topping- this too was great in presentation with an emoji design, but the matcha flavor was a bit overpowering to our taste buds.The banana butterscotch was an interesting dish, with a ripe banana slice covered in soft butterscotch batter, this was fluffy and delicious, and at 9 aed, quite the deal. The sweetness was not overpowering, and the dish is quite filling as well.We ended with a nice warm cup of hot chocolate which was presented in a nice cup with a candle lit support below. The hot chocolate was just right, and was soothing.We are definitely coming back for more, as the choice of cakes is too large to finish in one sitting.Visit date : 7th September 2018

Japanese taste in the heart of Dubai & its a must try experience for all foodies out there.Yakitate special cheese cake along with the caramel topping is not to miss.All there desserts have less sugar content make it appealing for health concious people.Update on Feb 2019Been there again, tried chicken yakitori, ebi fry, sea food miso ramen, cheese cake and some confectionery items. They still keep the reputation in terms of quality and service.

We recently went to Yakitate in Al Ghurair and had a good experience. We chose to sit outdoor, which has a very nice ambience that went well with our dinner date. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was okay as well and not too pricey. Will surely come back again.

More affordable than Yamanote, same great taste. Offers delicious sweet and savory pastries. They serve also the famed Japanese cheesecake. Hot dishes are available also (sushi burgers/yakitori/donburi). Great drinks options (so many matcha variations!). Only con is the venue--way too small for its growing customer-base.

I am not a cake fan but the souffle cheesecake here is just awesome. The chiffon cake is unavailably soft and spongy, youll either love it or hate it. A loaf of sliced bread with just 7 slices is AED 10; definitely didnt justify tge cost for me. They also do a beef curry doughnut, I wanted to try it but was full from dinner. Definitely will go back for the cheesecake!
