I am moving to Uganda and fitting out my 2014 Pajero as a base vehicle for a 4x4 and moto adventure company which I am starting up: meandauganda.com. Check it out.I needed a rear drawer system to provide general utilities: water tank and pump in rear seat well; dual battery, inverter, compressor and a hole heap of wiring and switches for lights and accessories. I also wanted two pull out drawers, one for recovery equipment and one for a rather complex kitchen drawer with cooker, sub-drawer and extending table. All needed to be strong enough to mount fridge freezer and heavy camping gear above - and to withstand the jarring African roads.Mark, the owner, gave generously of his time to understand the requirement, buy into my initial ideas and adapt and develop them based on his years of experience. The team quickly fabricated initial prototypes and these were developed quickly, harmonising with the vehicle and working against a very tight shipping deadline with great attention to detail on fixings, wiring, finishing (including powder coating), etc. The end result is superb and well beyond my expectations. Most significantly, it has been optimised to reduce weight (significantly using steel frame and aluminium drawer construction instead of my early ideas of wood!), is beautifully finished, robust and fully functional.The project was completed ahead of time, allowing me just a couple of days to try it out before shipping. To my delight in early testing, the assembly did everything I had envisaged, and more, with clever couplings for compressed air and water, well managed wiring runs with detachable plugs for removeable accessories, and excellent use of space which is essential. I was also delighted that when driving on rough ground, there was no perceptible rattle or creaking - at all, despite the complex assembly.All in all, a great job.Value? - excellent! I was on a tight budget, but I also wanted to do the job once and for it to work reliably in tough conditions. I have full confidence in the developed design and workmanship - and that it will support my requirements for many years to come. For that I may have paid a little more than a back street hack in Sharjah - but what price peace of mind?Would highly recommend.Many thanks to Mark and the team.

I own a 2009 Land Rover Defender and after some unpleasant experiences with 2 or 3 other workshops I brought it in to Saluki. They are knowledgeable and transparent. You see the quality of work and attention to detail. As a result you may end up paying a bit more than your budget workshop but the trust and quality are worth it. They turned me into a loyal customer.

Only place my husband and I will take our cars! Personable, reliable and most of all trustworthy. All this at a fair price. We have had Saluki do just about everything from body work to suspension to air conditioning to servicing for our Jag and Land Rover. Every time we drop off our cars, we know they are in great hands. Gary and the team at Saluki look after two of my cars.As Land Rover specialists I was totally comfortable handing my Defender 90 over to them for a number of upgrades. Gary was amazingly helpful with selection of the modifications and the work has been done to an exceptionally high standard.More recently they have worked on my Alfa 4c. Again very happy with the service and the quality of the work.All in all it is a pleasure working with the team. They know what they are doing, and they do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it and to a high standard of quality. All this for a sensible price. Highly recommended.

I have used Saluki Motorsport for all my regular and unplanned car maintenance requirements for the last 5 years, with 3 cars. Highly knowledgeable, nothing has been too much trouble, with very complete estimates of the likely repair requirements, costs and time required. In all cases, the final result was achieved in the planned time or less, and on or under budget without compromising on the quality of the result. Working from a spacious, clean, tidy air-conditioned workshop, the technicians seem knowledgeable and capable. Admin staff are friendly and prompt in email or WhatsApp responses. I cannot recommend salukis services highly enough.

I have been using Saluki Motorsport for my Audi service for the last 1 year. I already have shared my positive experience earlier in my google review. But this time it was all about the transparency and trust worthiness in their management. By mistake I made a double payment for the service, soon after I realized that I just sent message to the management regarding this , within couple of hours the entire cash was refunded back to my credit card. There was no back to back calls or email communication, just a WhatsApp message did all the work. I need to say this , if it was any other workshop i would need atleast couple of phone calls with the management or with accounts team to refund back my money.. But u guys nailed it.. Thanks to the entire team.. Hats Off..

I have trusted Saluki Motorsport with my cars for a number of years now and they have never let me down. Yesterday they replaced a number of key components on a car Ive recently bought (the car was inspected by Saluki prior to purchase which highlighted some issues) and the car is transformed. None of the work done was unnecessary and the faults they identified are now fixed and the car is in rude health once more. Gary and his team are very knowledgeable and professional. They will provide advice rather than do work just to make money. If something needs doing now they will make that clear, but if a component is beginning to wear out but will be fine for 12 months they will let you know about it and remind you in a years time that now is the time to replace the worn out component. I would recommend them as much to friends as I would to folks I dont know from Adam. They are that good.

A great team - Martin and Mark are very knowledgable about Land Rovers and the workmanship is top quality. They aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Great service, as soon as I walked in I felt at easy and comfortable, the staff were very welcoming. I left my car there over the weekend, with the promise of looking at it first thing Sunday morning, which was what happened, they explained the work that needed to be done very clearly. The price was great! And a lot less than what I had been quoted else where. I will only be using this garage from now on! Highly recommend them!

Finding a decent mechanic can be very stressful. Many people have horror stories about visiting the wrong shop.Saluki Motorsport was our 4 th workshop in Dubai, after taking our Audi Q5 into different places, probably this is thefirst time I am actually 100% satisfied with the work and commitment of the entire team. Yes they are bit expensive.But you get what you paid for. You can meet Mr Gary and he will take for it or you can whatsApp them , turn around timefor the response wont take more than 10 mins ( a very rare phenomena which I have never experienced in any service center..LOL)Trust them and they will take care of your car at its best.

First time there. So far, they gave a very reasonable per hour labour quotation and they listened to what I had to say, which is already better than any other place Ive been. I hope I found a my LR mechanic to stop burning my money in the stealership .Although Im the most annoying client, Mr Gary was very cool.I left my car there for some suspension work and a coolant leak. Im hoping the additional works bill will be reasonable.

Hats off to Gary and his team. I have a 2012 Q7 and the engine light came on, the garage I normally take it to we’re quoting me 2500-3500 to fix the fuel injectors. Did some research and came across Saulki, went it and I kid you not, walked out after an hour and the issue was fixed for 150 AED! The team found it was an intermittent fault, not a perm issue which they resolved. Saved myself a good amount of cash and received brilliant service - I would defo recommend.

We went there on our travel with a not so common VW T3 Syncro, which had a broken ball joint, and all we can say is that we highly recommend this garage.Fixed a lot of small other issues and they really know what they are doing. The most professional Garage, Professional staff, honesty, original parts and Fare prices. I fixed my jeep wrangler and referred it to my friends and cozens and never received a negative comment about them.

A little expensive, but its the best parts Money can buy for any type of vehicle. They have technicians flown in from all over the world to masterfully repair or upgrade your vehicle.

Saluki Motorsport is totally unreliable. They were not able to identify the root cause of my overheating issue. I submitted the car to them twice, through which they made me pay AED 6,500 to change the whole cooling system and the issue is not resolved. When I submitted the car for the third time, they said it’s the engine not the cooling system. I believe I was totally miss-lead to pay the labor cost. Worth to mention that the labor cost there is way overpriced.
