I visited the shop for shocks service awhile back. All their mechanic guys are knowledgeable and really knows what they are doing. I appreciate their job and highly commendable.

Had the worst experience in my life in this place. They look a nice shop and first impression given me by Mr. Abdala is they are helpful and professional people but, then it soon turned into a nightmare.I sent them a shocks kit just bought used, via courier, to quote for overhauling. I relied on the good reviews found here. Mistake.Mebar sent me a video on the external look of the shocks, where it was possible to see the whole kit in quite good detail before they put the hands on for quoting the refurbishment.Then they dismounted the shocks piece by piece and quoted the job around 1000aed more than any other shop around (which meant a good 25% more than average). I didnt like the quote and picked up the kit from their lab into plastic bags (they didnt put it back together...but this can still can be ok as the shocks really needed overhauling...).At Mebar lab I found all the kit dismounted and organized into 4 boxes. Each shocks parts into a workshop box. I sealed each shocks parts, segregating each shock into a strong (double layer) plastic bag with cable ties, with the help of their mechanic, and brought them to another place.At the morning of day 1, of the rebuilding job (in the other place) the rebuilder found missing 12 retaining rings which were not given to me from Mebar. Called Mr. Abdala, “impossible it’s missing but I will check for you”. After some hours Mebar found 1 ring of 12. Called again a couple of times, found 7, then 9, then 11 of these special rings (up on 12). After calling again they promised me that the day after he would had put together 12 rings (no clue whether someone else is missing those parts now…). The other overhauling shop organized the courier to pick those parts up from Mebar and Mebar didn’t think to pay the courier for this issue caused by them (but this is only a minimal detail…see what’s next!!).Then it comes the day I had the overhauled shocks ready, with the front coilovers ready to be combined to their springs. But the mechanic who had to install them observed that the massive, coilover spring-retaining bushes were missing. Aside of that, also the rear shocks top rubber bushes were missing, so we are talking of total 4 parts. After a check with the overhauling shop which did the job, I realized that they never came out from Mebar shop. I could be 100% sure of that because they were present in the video they (Mebar) sent me and, I also remembered myself that were missing from the boxes of pieces which I collected at Mebar into sealed bags, with the help of their mechanic. After some phone talks with Mr.Abdala, he found the first 2 pieces in his shop but, despite understanding that the rear rubber bushes were also lost at his lab, he did not found them and did not propose any refund to that.I asked Mr.Abdala to send the 2 retaining rings to my mechanic, and he kindly did it, but then I discovered that he put the charge of the courier in “cash at delivery”. So he felt that not even this courier charge was somehow due to him.Moreover, I had to buy the missing 2 bushes, clearly lost at Mebar’s (as also partially conveined by Mr.Abdala) brand new from the UAE distributor of the shocks’ OEM. Mebar declined to support me in this, so I had to pay 450AED (420 for the parts, plus the courier from Dubai to Abu Dhabi) from my poket.Therefore, if we count for free my time waste, that quotation at Mebar costed me 3 couriers from Dubai to Abu Dhabi + 420AED of parts. + maybe 5 years of my life burned due to stress!!!!I strongly regret to have stepped into that shop and the further 20min of my life, which I spent to write this review, are an act of generosity towards the off-roaders’ community because I don’t wish anyone to go through this, ever.All what i said is documented in the whatzap chats (including video and picture evidence) so I can provide evidences, should someone think I’m lying.

I’ve visited this location today to fixed my Jeep Wrangler 2015 Engine tappet noise ,they told me no need to change the tappet we have special oil to fixed this issue but they are lier after I spend all my 600eadThey told me maybe it will go or no 😡It was the worst bad customer experience in my lifeI highly recommend to avoid visiting this place

Got my Baja Designs lights here. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful. The mechanics did a perfect job and even fabricated custom brackets to fix the lights exactly how I wanted them. Their prices were identical to the prices listed on Baja Designs US website. Highly recommended.

Had my Nissan with suffered loud suspension noises and had to get a lot of things fixed sent to them and they fixed everything it was pricey but I tried to go to cheaper place and only ended up wasting money so pay for something professional and have it done once

The reason why I am giving them 1 star is because I asked them I want to buy Baja designs light for my car they gave me the price for the lights ASAP but the price for installation and the brackets they never gave me and it’s been more than 2 weeks, as you can see other reviews posted by people also gave them 1 star due to their terrible customer service . I hope you service is not bad like your customer service

If you want quality work done on your vehicle, this is the best place to go. For serous work done to cars used out in the dessert, you cannot just go anywhere since your own safety is directly affected by the work they do. I would not go anywhere else.

I couldnt imagine having anyone else take care of my baby. Theyre attention to detail and quality is almost obsessive and it shows in their work.The climate and off road terrain in Dubai is no joke, so it helps to have an owner who grew up here and lives the off road lifestyle.

Difficult review...in short I would say you either like Mebar or not,,. In my case each visit was frustrating in the beginning however once the groove clicked I was satisfied with the final outcome.Expect service delays and allow ample time for job delivery....in all fairness these guys are good and know what they are doing but follow a system which makes government red tapism seem easy breezy..Excellent service recovery for complaints which is unusual in Dubai. In my opinion the company could have avoided the problem at the beginning by being more prudent and saved on unnecessary expenses.
