The dune bashing was fun, but the camp was a disaster. The individual providing snacks immediately at the entrance is the rudest and most unmannerly person you will ever meet. If you ask for more food (that you have already paid for), he will whisk you away and tell you to go lost. The supper buffet was unappealing, chilly, and raw. However, the non-vegetarian cuisine was excellent. The shows were incredible, with a few extremely skilled people putting on a show for you. Hukka was without a doubt the best weve ever had. However, be prepared to consume insipid meals and meet the worst version of the snack delivery guy if you go.
With a dirtbike and a buggy, we went on a four-hour desert adventure. It was incredible. The personnel was quite pleasant. Sohail , Ali, Riaz deserve special thanks for making our trip so unforgettable.
We booked the 4x4 Safari through our hotel Atlantis-the Palm and werent expecting much because wed been to the Namib desert before. We enjoyed our day in the dunes with a terrific driver, knowing it would be quite touristic and not particularly private. The Bedouin tent was also quite lovely, with ultra-modern restrooms, healthy and wonderful food (grilled meat, salads, taboulé, baba ghanoush, rice, vegetables, desert, and more), and fascinating dances! After a camel ride and a falcon display, we had seen the desert in a touristy style that we thoroughly liked!
Wonderful
