We were brought here unannounced by our City Tour of Dubai. You will be taken into a room with no windows and shown beautiful gold thread pieces. You will be told the smallest one is £900 and given a sob story that the people who make these can no longer do anything else because of COVID. The actual price is nearer 900AED (£177). If you dont buy these you will then be shown expensive carpets, cheap carpets and then taken upstairs for scarves, fragrance. If you do buy anything check your invoice before you leave ours was completely made up figures which shows they are trying to cover up their tactics

Expensive rip off. They insist you to buy items for as much as they can get out of you. Cant tell you the amount of pressure they put on you at this place. If you have been brought here by your tour with no further notice, never ever buy anything just look at the items and leave.

Amazing place, a real work of art

We were brought, without notice, by the guide of Desert Gate Tourism. It is called Art Gallery but in practice it is a shop for hanging carpets (tapestries, tapestries). Very beautiful, without a doubt. But the group was led to a closed room without windows and had to put up with the whole presentation, starting from the expensive carpets up to the cheap ones. Too much sales pressure, and in any case what I didnt like at all was the fact that we were brought there without any request or prior information, on a tour called Discover Historic Dubai.
