The aquarium is really not worth the money BUT if you are going to visit it with the underwater zoo its fun. The price is a bit too much but there are a lot of different fish species/ turtles/ crocodiles / nightlife animals and some parrots that you can see flying around and otters 😍🥰You spend 40min-1hr there but for kids they might enjoy it more than adults.

It was truly amazing. It is interesting that it is just a part of a huge mall. Even if you dont intend to spend your money on the whole experience, it is still interesting to just stand around and look a ciuple of minutes from outside. The tube on the buttom is cool, and the mini-zoo above it was a nice little addition. It is a good hour or two break during shopping.

The underwater zoo is very well made and interesting. The aquarium is spectacular for sure, with many sharks and various other fish but maybe a little too short. I expected it a little bigger but would still recommend the experience.

This place is alright. You can see the aquarium from the outside. The underwater zoo was good. It cost around £90 for 2 people. However you can get vouchers online for a cheaper price. I purchased my tickets at the aquarium.

Experience was good. But they charged adult ticket price for a 2.5 years of a child. Of cause it was informed at the counter before booking. But still it is not fair.

If you’re a water lover like I am, you will appreciate all the water life this aquarium has to offer. Definitely great for a family day out.

What a great experience! I have to admit about going initially thinking it would be small and waste of money, but I will pleasantly surprised. It had so many animals and unlike land zoos you can get right up close to them and actually see them in action. The zoo is spacious and even though busy you dont feel rushed. Plenty of space for the pram and the kid to run around safely. My only word of advice is book online before you come, its almost a 50% discount to the counter price.

Enjoyable.. I would advise people to fall pray to their upselling tactics of selling you pictures. The sell you one for aed 150-160.but you can easily bargain and get it for 30-50aed or you can just skip it and go with your own pictures

What a marvel, once you enter there its mesmerizing.During your visit to Dubai Mall, both Burj Khalifa and Dubai aquarium can be seen along with the Dubai Mall visit.The unique sea creatures are out of this world. We came across a specific fish I dont know the name but posting a video, which was reacting to our actions, it was dancing and smiling when we talked to that fish, amazing life time experience.We did our local tours with North Tours in Dubai itself and that was also very good, supportive and extremely economical with high class comfort and service and good toyota and nissan high end cars.We were lucky our whole trip expense excluding personal purchases was round 1.25 lakhs inr for 3 people all inclusive and this Dubai Aquarium visit was around 10k inr for 3 people.We went in June, Ramzaan period unknowingly, still they supported in the best way and guided us considering the common rules to be followed i.e. no food and water from 6 to 6pm or else 500 dirhams fine.If you are short of days in your Dubai tour, do Burj Khalifa and then Desert Safari and then Dubai mall and aquarium rest you can skip.

Moneywise, I suggest to book or buy your tickets online as some of the third party companies are offering way much cheaper 👌Been here with my family during the holidays so expect the crowd to be such crazy as expected.Firstly, the place was so cool. I was amazed at how they built this aquarium inside a Mall.Can’t imagine how they manage to fill this tank with tons of breathable water for marine animals.Secondly, I was so fascinated by how the rays are playing inside. They’re so cute! You can see their tiny face somehow smiling while flapping their wings across the entire aquarium.Finally, if you’re into sharks, there are some species that Ive noticed, unfortunately, I can’t name them for you, sorry ✌️😁On the other hand, I felt sorry for all the living creatures inside this huge cage. Staring the sharks, for example, felt that they were sick with where they are now.Hope not to take further sea creatures for the sake of placing them in a place where they don’t belong.Ps. The aquarium alone has nothing much to be seen under the tunnel than what we see outside. The view from outside which is free is far beautiful. The aquarium in Sharjah for 25AED is worth than the one in Dubai. The ad ons like penguin crocodile is the only benefit if u take the ticket for 100dhs. Its and additional cost of 20dhs from Normal charge which is too expensive.

Fam of five.. And we loved it...I never knew in all my years that Ive lived here that there was a whole another galaxy to this place...The tickets we had were complimentary and therefore we only got to see the inside of the aquarium and the underwater zoo..I would have love to have an immersive experience but it was rather expensive.I wouldnt blame it probably costs a lot for the way theyve maintained it.Its clean, and my niece had a blast.Hats off to the people that labour day and night that make it beautiful for us to see and might I add... Even the smell was better😜

First off, for all the people saying this is amazing and all that, I guess they have never been to a real aquarium. It’s a total waste of money. Yes it is very cool the fact that they have such a big tank with huge sharks in it inside a mall, but it is definitely overpriced and not worth it. While walking, The big tank can be seen and pictures can be taken without paying. There’s a big variety of animals in this “aquarium”, and if you want to see what the hype it’s about then sure. People just base they reviews and the coolness and amazing fact of where this place it’s located at.

Great way to spend an hour at Dubai Mall. Good variety of sharks, rays and all types of colorful fishes and reptiles.

It is a wonderful experience though quite expensive. You pay 180 dirhams (50 dollars) for package one which limits you to the Aquarium, Aquarium 2nd level( boat ride) and the Underwater Zoo. The full package is 360 dirhams and you will have access to the behind the scenes/penguin side plus one other place. Trust me though, you would want to have this experience!

Dubai Aquarium and underwater zoo is located within the Dubai Mall. These two are probably two of the shortest tours in Dubai for me. The aquarium has different types of sea fishes and a beautiful place to take some pictures even though its a very short tour. However its kind of an anticlimax at the end as you kinda expect more and then the fun ends 😅.The zoo also has different see creatures with displays showing their origin or their nature. Another short one but quite interesting

A bit pricey if you purchase tickets in person, however online is cheaper. An upclose, yet safe, activity. They will take your pictures and offer personalized products for purchase. The ice cream inside is overpriced.

Advise: do not buy tickets at the front, buy online it’s almost 50% price difference. Anyhow, It is wonderful place where you can have fun and see and learn new things about sea life , I love it soooo much also see a very big big big alligator is wonderful , many animals there I am sure the old and young will fall in love with that place.It never gets boring, the staff are well trained, knowledgeable and friendly and they will answer any question. The exhibits are well cared for and well displayed and this place is educational as well as a wonderland for kids. Behind the scenes in the fish hospital and breeding tanks is very interesting and the whole thing culminates with the tunnel walk underneath the giant sharks Fascinating and enjoyable every time.

Worth all your money and time to visit. Please visit if you havent. Miracles happen there and you will go wow every 50 seconds you look around. You can get many videos and links to look at virtually but that doesnt gets the happiness you look in front of it. Its amazingly done.

I’ve been at Dubai Aquarium and under water zoo twice, it’s a very amazing place with too many rare amazing aimals from all over the world, you can dive in the aqurium if you are intrested and thats wonderfulIt’s better to visit in the morning otherwise I can be crowdedHighly recommended

Worth your time, especially if you have kids between 4 to 10 years old or even younger, I enjoyed my time there, we went early at around 11:59 AM and it was okay, took my time watching everything and there was no rush.

Most wonderful place for kids and adults but everything expensive be aware bring with you the atm card

Although you can see many species of fish, the overall picture is very sad. Aquariums are very small, especially for sharks and sea cats, which swim in circles, desperately. Many fish die very quickly due to the very small space. In addition, algae and corals in most aquariums are made of plastic, accentuating the conditions in which marine animals are captive! Im attaching some suggestive pictures with small aquariums, plastic algae and dying fishes!

Service is okay 👍. It’s too cramped inside especially if you go on Holidays. Tickets are a bit expensive as well as the photo souvenirs and other souvenirs from the shop.

We were super impressed by the size and quality of the experience from the exterior. The idea of walking through the tunnel and seeing the zoo was appealing, judging from what we could see.We were immediately shocked by the price for the full experience, but felt the quality of care it takes to keep the aquarium to a high standard made it understandable.However, on arriving in the tunnel we were immediately disappointed by the optical distortion of glass, which made the experience less immersive. The reflection of shops signage in the glass also ruined the view inside the tunnel. The massive tank, was 10 times more impressive from the outside.Moving upstairs to the zoo, we were even more disappointed. The boat ride was silly, we were distracted by shuffling feet and with all the light reflecting off the roof it felt like a waist of time, and a rather joyless experience.The zoo was even more uninspired, tiny tanks with way to many fish crammed in close felt really sad, one could feel the lack of interest around you as people wandered past quickly, paying little attention to the variety.I’ve given the aquarium 3 stars because I feel it’s important for children’s imagination to be captured by these incredible animals in the main tank, especially the endangered ones, but the zoo feels cramped, joyless and leaves one feeling a little depressed.There’s lots to like from the outside, not that much once you’re in. Support the aquarium if you can, but they could do better.Sometimes less is more.

Huge aquarium with walk through tunnel. All kinds of species. The zoo was very clean to walk through and the night display was very neat

A great place for a visit for both adults and children. Vast number of aquatic and marine species. You will need an average of 2 hours to see the whole place. The Penguin cove is amazing! The underwater tunnel with sharks and other fish all around you is a thrilling experience. The basic package is AED 299 per person if you buy from the counter. However, it is advised to check other trusted online websites for a better deal. I paid 149 Dirhams per person. In that I also got food voucher of 10 Dirhams per ticket and 20 Dirhams per ticket for any purchase made at their retail store.

Overpriced. The entry tunnel is the exiting place to walk and take pictures. There are variety of sea animals in the underwater zoo, but the price is too much. Only fantasy is seeing the big sharks and other see creatures inside a busy mall. Nothing much.

The aquarium is huge and pretty cool to look at, but after you enter and walk through the tunnel, thats it. Younger kids would absolutely love it. It is a place that look like normal aquarium, in fact it is not that big, however in reality you can have many different experiences with many different aquatic and terrestrial species. It is very nice to spend 3h inside... they have the biggest crocodile I ever saw, 750 kg!!! (Small spoiler 😁)

Omg! I was literally blown away, it was an awesome experience and yeah make sure you go with a photo buddy or at least someone who can take you really cool pictures. For someone who really loves anything aqua, I mean it felt peaceful and more like home. You should go try it out too.

You will not believe how short the walk was. It was literally one minute long experience. So save yourself some money and buy the tickets for the underwater zoo upstairs instead.

The Dubai Aquarium and underwater zoo was quite exciting. The aquarium is located in the Dubai Mall and is really majestic. Lots of exotic marine species and quite convenient to explore. We spent a great deal of time here. The place is huge and definitely worth a visit. Check out thr deals that are on offer before you visit.

We came here to celebrate our daughters first birthday. It was a nice outing and we got some awesome photos clicked at the aquarium. It is amazing how a thriving aquarium and zoo are operating in a mall.

Its a beautiful aquarium located in Dubai Mall, with different species of fish and animals, including crocodiles, where you can dive with sharks, but its not exceptional, wow, how you would expect it to be in Dubai!

The zoo is a good glimpse into the underground water world and even the nightlife in the uae. The aquarium bosts a number of species and is mesmerising to look at.

Pretty Impressive from the outside...theres lots of fish to see...it is in the dubai mall...you can get there by the metro and get off at the dubai/burj kahlifa station (red line)...you will walk a lot but it is worth it....it cost around 300 aed for the full tour (but you need to pay extra to get close to the penguins)...youll to go through the tunnel, then get an indoor boat tour on top of the fishes...pretty impressive...and then after the boat tour and then the zoo...it was a pretty cool experience worth seeing...

Dont buy tickets at the counter, instead buy online, they are cheaper there! Also at first it feels like they are not worth it! But, after discovering the 2nd level of the aquarium(it has 2 levels, one on each floor inside the mall), it feels much convincingly worth the ticket price!

Awesome experience, very hands-on. Had a tour guide and was able to feed the fish. As well as learn about their caretaking of the animals.

A 10 million litres water giant aquarium that contains around 33000 aquatic animals. Just watch for free or pay for amazing inside zoo that comes by 48 meter long glass tunnel, paying more.. and you can even do scuba diving inside the aquarium.

Visiting the aquarium that is visible for every one who walks through the mall is already great. But it becomes even a lot better when you explore the second part of this zoo on the second floor of the mall. Absolutely marvellous, more than worth the entrance price!

A cool place to check out of you are in the area. From what I heard about this place i was expecting much more than what I saw. But its still nice to go check it out specifically if you got little kids im sure they will love the place.

This is the best Aquarium I have ever been too! It tops the ones in Las Vegas, Cape Town and the UK. They are all treated so well too. Contains Alligators, loads of Sharks, lots of Rays and Penguins! Well worth the money!
