Peaceful, lovely atmosphere with tasty coffee and interesting historical staff. Entrance already costs 10 aed including a cup of Arabic, Turkish or Ethiopian coffee, but unfortunately Ethiopian coffee was not available as they take part in some exhibition in Abu Dhabi. We came because of Ethiopian coffee, its very tasty even without sugar. Though Arabic coffee with dates was not bad. We visited it already the 3rd time. Love the atmosphere

I am not much of a museum type of person, but this place is special. As my friend came with a visit to Dubai, I had to plan some sightseeing. That day we roaming around Al Fahidi area (Dubai Museum, Bastakiya), and Coffee museum was a must do item in our list, as we were already in this neighborhood. The entrance is free, the building is small but lots of rooms with hundreds of exhibits related to coffee. The owner of the museum is a lovely man, unfortunately he didnt speak English much and my knowledge of Arabic is very poor :) You can not only try different types of coffee there, but also buy some to make it yourself at home, what we did (the choice was Ethiopian 😍)So if you are a coffee lover, it a place is to be.

Quirky little place worth the visit, with an eclectic collection of roasters, grinders, brewing devices from past and present. The coffee bar on the top floor has a very wide range of coffee varieties and brewing methods, from traditional to espresso and pour overs and more. The very knowledgeable staff take great pride in the quality of coffee served, and are full of interesting and technical information about the brewing process. The museum is free to visit, and there is no pressure at all to buy a coffee, but you should totally have one here if you come.

This museum could be really good but there are so few signs that you do not know exactly what you are looking at or its development, significance, or role in shaping peoples culture and lifestyle throughout the world. I was really looking forward to learning about coffee in this way and left a little disappointed. However, it was a nice visit considering the rest of the historical neighborhood.

Falling in love with coffee is easy and so is staying in love with coffee! The coffee musuem is a celebration of that journey of love for the perfect cup of joe. Imagine yourself in Wilie Wonkas factory but replace it with coffee and time-travel and voila you have the coffee musuem. Learn how some curious goats and their goatherd discovered the coffee bean to how cafes sprung up all over the world. Delve into some pretty interesting literature on coffee, learn about defects of the coffee bean and check out some cool coffee equipment (including a travelling coffee roaster used by the Turks from the 16th century). Whats more? Your ticket also includes a coffee - choose the Ethiopian variety for its beautiful bitterness!

Right in the heart of historical area, it has some of interesting information about coffee and one of the three coffee types native to this part of the world is offered to try within the ticket value. Don’t expect to spend here longer than half an hour as it is not much to see. The word “Museum” in the name is somehow misguiding, though, you will see some genially old coffee roasters and grinders. Better group this visit with gold and spice souk visits, which are just across the canal and can be reached by small traditional boat.

This is the worst museum and service I ever encountered. My friend and I were rushing for this coffee museum because we thought it was one of those tourist attractions on the “must-do list”.We got there at about 4pm, 1hr before it closes. It’s 10AED, quite pricey for a museum tour, but since we get to try the coffee, why not right? We decided to head over to the coffee bar counter at about 4.40pm to try our complimentary coffee.Turns out, we waited there for a good 15mins, all the staff walking around, ignoring us even when we approached them.Until 4.55pm, 5mins before the museum closes, we see all the staffs carrying their bags, about to leave. One of the staff stared at us and laughed, told us that they’re closed. And we should leave. And he walked off.So we paid 10AED for a small museum which frankly is one of the worse museums you can go to, unless you want to be treated with such services and come out of the museum feeling so disappointed and upset. Will never recommend anyone there ever.
